Best Search Platform For The Money
This software makes it easy for bigger stores to make money. End of story.
- After Search Spring is set up it is incredibly easy to use and gives you a ton of relevant and useful statistics for any ecommerce store
- We realized that our customers using search ending up spending much more and had a very high conversion rate versus the people that did not use the search
- So we made our search bar more available to use on desktop and mobile and it worked great
- So many insights like this to see inside Search Spring
- Getting set up is the biggest frustration with Search Spring only because it takes a minimum of 4 weeks to do so
- It includes all of the integration and set up from their team and it really isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things but it was a little frustrating to learn we had to pay while they were still integrating

A Game Changer For Us! One Of The Best Decisions We Made!
From day one, we were very impressed with SearchSpring. Our original salesperson was incredibly patient and worked tirelessly to ensure that the SearchSpring solution could handle all of our requirements prior to signing our contract. From there, the implementation team took over and the excellence continued. I can not speak highly enough of their efforts, attitude and expertise. They delivered a flawless solution to our website on-time and on budget. Since our launch on the SearchSpring platform, our success manager has been stellar, managing our account with great care and always with our business goals in mind. No review of SearchSpring would be complete without mentioning their support team. We've received incredible support from the beginning. We've been with SearchSpring for over 5 years now and support is even better today than it was when we first signed up. Support has always been friendly, attentive to our requests and eager to deliver speedy solutions.
- SearchSpring is incredibly adept at delivering the most relevant search results instantly
- It's AI component has been a significant win for us, helping deliver higher AOV since it's deployment
- The accuracy of it's product recommenadations within product detail pages and within the shopping cart are remarkable at predicting what a given user would be most interested
- As a result, time on site has increased as has the number of pages each user browses
- SearchSpring's merchandising module has been an incredible tool for us, allowing us to create stunning merchandising campaigns with all of the bells and whistles that are available within SearchSpring
- Since deploying SearchSpring, our promotions have consistently generated 25%-50% higher revenue than before implementing their solution
- This is a hard question to answer
- Every time we've wished something could be done within the software, the engineers at SearchSpring have been eager to work with us to deliver the desired capabilities
- I can't think of anything we've asked for that SearchSpring hasn't been able to deliver

Let me be clear - we loved SLI and were a happy client until they were bought out by a terrible company that ruined the product, destroyed their company moral and killed all of the relationships we had within their company. Following the buy out, we couldn't get support for the product, our CSM quit, every support agent we had ever worked with disappeared, engineering became non-existent and the product itself began to suffer. To add insult to injury, SLI then wanted to jack up our rates by 20%! It was criminal! In hindsight, it was the best thing that could have happened. SLI forced us to search for an alternate search partner which led us to SearchSpring. I should send SLI a thank you card every year for this!

Great platform, subpar service.
They sell a big idea but, in reality, deliver something in between; their lack of care for customers is their biggest weak point. They lock you into year-long contracts, and so you are stuck with next to no customer service, without a lot of options to get support other than to hire a third party.
- Searchspring offers a robust platform for search and merchandising
- It has all the features you'd want from a software side
- It is pricey, but it does work well
- This is where it falls about; they don't prioritise customer support and have a 3+ week turnaround on helpdesk tickets unless you mark them as urgent
- So you have to decide to overreact to every issue or be okay with waiting a month or more to have something resolved
- For us, this is the reason we wouldn't come back to them

SearchSpring is SO Savvy!
We have had a very pleasant experience with SearchSpring. Even the not so seasoned/techy members of our team have been able to log in and use various portions of our account portal. It is very easy to use and really gives a glimpse into your business, how your customers shop and ways you can improve your website for overall growth.
- I love the personal touch that is received through having an onboarding + support specialist
- A very knowledgable team member is with you from the very beginning for training, implementation, best practice reccommendations and to support you
- The implementation was a bit "clunky", also there have been several times we needed their teams help to allow major changes on our site
- Support has been great through the process, but some of the functionality SS offers in these cases has room for improvement

Very Functional
Works wonderfully for what we need. Hoping they do not price out their customers by trying to innovate beyond their scope

Best in the Business
The software is expensive but for good reason. Reasonably priced for everything you get along with the support. Try believe SS is the innovating fastest out of all its competitors.
The ticketing system, customer service, account management, innovation, and ability to work with us (client) to come up with creative solutions to our search and merchandising questions and issues
- Nothing stands out for what I like least about this software
- The implementation processes for their services could be explained better in the beginning/ start of implementation

Great product and Team behind it!
Before Search Spring, our on site search and site merchandising was a hot mess. BigCommerce really has not addressed their native tools in either field. This is more in line with other enterprise tools I've used in the past. If you are looking to address merchandising and search functionality optimizations with a package, this is a great option in my professional opinion. We looked at a few other tools but ultimately landed with this one for numerous reasons.
- This has been very easy to use and has made a big difference in the appearance and usability in our website
- The reporting has also been excellent
- Feel like we finally got control of our page merchandising and on site search
- Also implementation was great due to an AMAZING developer that really knocked it out of the park and took feedback very well
The drag and drop merchandising could have more options and an overlay of sales reporting or inventory would be a really slick feature

Great for merchandising!

- As a web merchandiser, Searchspring allows me to do efficient and fast product merchandising
- The pinning feature is very useful, as are the boost rules for the different product collections on our website
The only negative point that limits me in my daily work is not being able to copy/paste the merchandising I do for already existing collections (it is only possible for new campaigns)

Connects well with our platform, but still has some issues over all

- Was able to easily use with our current platform Volusion, which had a terrible search option
- We are able to view multiple reports that help us see what people are getting zero search results for
- We can also customize landing pages, which really helps our ability to push a customer towards a specific product
- Due to issues with our platform, all our photos MUST be in JPG to show up in search
- We had to change over 2000 pictures in the process
- Other issues is with the delay in updates
- Site is set at every 24 hours and if you want it before, you have to manually go in and index
- I think it is a little pricey in general, but it does the job
