About BatchGeo

BatchGeo is a geographic information system (GIS) that helps businesses create interactive maps using a drag-and-drop interface and publish them across websites. It enables employees to collect spatial, geographical or sales information from various sources including Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets, databases and web pages to display visual information through maps. Features of BatchGeo include geolocation, analytics, route optimization, data synchronization and more. The application allows sales teams to handle sales mapping activities, monitor trends and visually display customers, suppliers or leads. Additionally, it helps real estate agents maintain property listings, streamline data indexing operations and generate custom reports. BatchGeo facilitates integration with Google Street View, which enables organizations to view property frontage photos in real-time. Pricing is available on a monthly subscription and support is extended via phone, email and other online measures.

Batchgeo assists with creating and organizing routes.

What they liked
  • Batchgeo has been a great asset to use within my company to assist with route utilization and organization
  • The ability to utilize with Google earth allows us to get even more details and directions regarding deliveries
Room for improvement
  • Something I have noticed improvements in is the accuracy of locations, but it does happen sporatically
  • It would also be great to offer trainings periodically to customers or videos shared going over features that we may not use or utilitize yet due to lack of knowledge of its availability

Maps of church members

We use it for finding neighbors to group together and for planning routes for drop off and pick up of items from members' homes.

What they liked
  • It is easy to pull a list of addresses from our database and generate a map
Room for improvement

We only use the free version, so we occasionally run up against the limit of how many addresses we can include

Best map software on the market.

Verified reviewer

What they liked

I think the best part of Batch Geo is the presentation of the maps, they provide clean looking outputs that are more effective in displaying data that is easy to explore

Room for improvement
  • The features I like least are the inflexibility in the naming mechanisms for the pin points and that occasionally something feels off and the pin locations change without changing the inputs
  • Can be disconcerting
  • Perhaps also grouping by color would be useful
Switched From

I prefer the presentation of Easy Map Maker and there was a time when easy map was not communicating well with google maps and I needed to make the switch.

Useful with issues

Verified reviewer

What they liked
  • Bath gel is useful if you just want a map of locations
  • It’s simple to use and has extensive options for customization
Room for improvement
  • I don’t like the price
  • For my small business, I only map less than 250 sites bi-yearly
  • When I started using batchgeo 12 years ago the free option was a lot different
  • I could map under 250 sites with no issues
  • Now, I map those sites and I can only access the map a certain number of times before I have exceeded the usage
  • I’m not pay the exorbitant price for the small about I use it
  • I wish I could edit the map via the app
  • I had to delete the app because when I click the edit map link in the email, it opened the app but you are not able to edit it there
  • A delete site option would also be helpful or a way to mark it as complete
  • I visit each site once a year so I do not need it on the map after I have visited it
Why they chose it

"It was the only one with cut and paste to route."

What they liked

We use Batch Geo on a regular basis to plot locations and then routes for our engineers to ensure we are as efficient as possible and thus save money

Room for improvement

I would to be able filter the raw data in excel format (similar to a pivot table) and this make the necessary changes to the map
