A fantastic, important service
If we ever get a PIA request, ArchiveSocial will pay for itself. It's the best insurance policy a PIO can have against lost time and work.
I like that I don't have to worry about dealing with pages and pages of metadata if I ever get a Public Information Act request
- I don't like that I can't get a "remember me" button on the login page
- Seriously, the worst thing about this program is that I have to type my email address and password

ArchiveSocial takes care of all of our social media accounts and we are now adding our website. As a local government entity in Florida which is the most transparent state of all, we are constantly dealing with public records requests. ArchiveSocial makes it easy to search and create reports for any requests we get. They recently offered their web snapshot which is going to be a lifesaver.

- Fast and easy way to archive social media content across several platforms
- The setup is quick and the cost is well worth it
- The ArchiveSocial team also works with you if you happen to exceed your quota for a given period
- The entire process is very simple and friendly
- This is especially helpful for those in a government role, as we are required to archive all communications especially those made by our elected officials
- Overall we have been very satisfied with the software
- The only thing that could make it better is if it was free
- However, the pricing structure is very reasonable

A great product with EXCELLENT support
The best you can get - you set it up, then forget about it, and when you need it, it's there.
- We looked at a couple products in this arena and chose this one for its features and price
- We've been very happy with it
- It was extremely easy to set up, and we don't have to worry that it stops archiving when something in one of the social media platforms changes, because they either take care of it themselves, or let us know immediately
It would be nice if it could archive on the unreasonable schedule our current web host requires, but I can't really fault them for that

- I always brace myself when I must use applications or software like this
- Nothing ever seems to work right and I waste alot of time and energy
- That has not been the case with ArchiveSocial
- It's always been easy to add accounts and the one time I had an issue, I submitted an email, received a very timely response and they talked me through fixing the problem in no time
- I haven't had a customer service interaction go this smoothly in ages

- It's nice that you can review sentiment trends and search your content quickly by date or keyword
- The keyword alerts are also a bonus
- Sometimes the ArchiveSocial search portal takes a long time to load
- Other than that, it works really well
