overall, I and my team are very happy with this tool. It has contributed massively to our day to day activity.
the Value for money is really great as well as the fact it taken my teams performance to another level
there isn't many thing to dislike about this software/tool, only thing I would criticize is maybe the fact when you create a list of leads everyone in your company can see your lists

Misleading renewal and lacking credit card control on the backend.
The technology works mostly. The integrations work. The customer success team is only interested in profit and loss and not the success of the clients. Their renewal and backend payment processes is misleading and purposeful to keep clients with the platform. Therefore I can't recommend them until they give the payment and renewal control to the admin. This is standard in 2025.

- Cognism's backend does not give uses the control of their account, which credit cards to use, or executing renewals
- Therefore, we had changed our sales model, and they notified me I could not cancel our subscription and we were auto renewed and notified via an email from our rep that went to the spam filter
- They need to be transparent with their contacting and renewal process
- in 2025, SaaS platforms need to give Admins the ability to renew on the platform and control payment methods

BDR for Financial SaaS Platform
A good thing about the software is that it has a lot of functionalities. This does mean that there's a learning curve for new team members. I'd say it's definetly worth the time to invest in learning the different functionalities. Cognism even did an in person training to help us get the most out of the platform. Overal the lead generation we're realizing with Cognism is amazing. It helps us find the correct prospect: we can filter through dozens of very detailed filters, helping us to find our exact ICP. It also connects with our CRM which makes this process even easier. Once we have identified the right prospects for our accounts we can then find their contact details (mobiles, HQ, direct lines and email addresses). The speed with which we can contact our prospects has improved our sales cycle by a lot! We can also request Cognism to look for mobile numbers if they aren't know yet. This allows us to contact executives whom usually don't have mobile numbers that show. The quality of the data has been a lot higher quality compared to other vendors.

- In short what our teams like is that we can find the right prospect for each account, and then easily find the right contact details so we can reach out to them

- The 'Diamond Verify' function (Cognism looking to find mobile numbers not yet known) is amazing
- The only comment on it is that it sometimes takes quite a while to receive them, while these usually are very urgent and important calls to make
- Receiving this faster would be amazing

Lusha didn't have mobile numbers for a lot of our prospects, so we tested a few other tools to see if they were better. Cognism won: had a lot of accurate contact data.

Great platform for Ops & Sales
Very helpful team, and the data has added a lot of value to our company
- The Platform is useful for Operations teams doing bulky data work
- The plugin is a great tool for sales users who regularly use Sales Navigator and Salesforce to enrich & export data
- The contact data completion is lower in Germany than it is for the UK

Excellent Contact Data, Simple to Use
Cognism has been a positive overall experience. The data accuracy, especially for mobile numbers, is excellent and integrates well with our CRM. It reliably speeds up our sales outreach process.
- What I like best about Cognism is how smoothly it integrates with our existing tools
- The Salesforce integration is fantastic for keeping our data clean and saving reps time
- I also love the pop-up notifications right inside Sales Navigator, it's incredibly helpful to get quick contact information without leaving the page
- Overall, it’s a very user-friendly platform that simply makes our outreach much more efficient
- What I dislike most is the limited data reach in the APAC region
- While it's great for US/EU, getting comprehensive contact details in Asia Pacific is often challenging
- Also, I occasionally notice some app slowness, especially when running large list exports, which can slightly disrupt workflow

Great tool for BDRs and SDRs
Overall great experience for the role of a BDR/Sales person. Have been using the tool a lot and so far also had nothing much to complain about.
- It has amazing depth of Companies and contacts
- IT is also very easy to use and setup
- I have been enjoying the tool a lot in the past months
- Without it my job as a BDR/SDR would not be possible
- I also really enjoy the persona function filter where you can get the right contacts at every company immediately and no need to do intense research on LinkedIn
- Sometimes it can be a bit tricky to find certain companies with name search
- But if you use the name of the company stated on LinkedIn you can't really go wrong and usually find the company you are trying to prospect into

Very Impressed
Very good, before starting my job I didn't know there was tech platforms that can find this kind of information at this scale, very impressive
- The quality of the numbers is amazing, most times I call them the correct prospect picks up the phone, email quality is even better
- I also love the diamond verify feature to give me more confidence in the quality of the details
Not all the information cognism has can be pulled through to our CRM, Salesforce, which can be annoying when I have to cross reference details before reaching out

Good for hunters
My overall experience is pretty good. It's a CRM I can recommend for teams in charge of developing new business. It sometimes lacks a little data, but overall you can find what you're looking for.
I like Cognism for : -user friendly platform - integration with others CRM - saving time - lead generation
I don't like Cognism for : - sometimes reliabilty of the data - lack of data - the quality of the data is equal depending the market
