The Buildertrend's product was more geared to residential home developers and general contractors. It was clunky, not very customizable, and for lack of a better term, pretty basic. For what we do, we were looking for something more customizable, nimble, and adaptive as we perform business less linearly. We also needed more comprehensive reporting, and we wanted ways to analyze our business that weren't possible with Buildertrend.

"Most of these were out-of-the-box products with limited customization, and as mentioned earlier, our workflow is a bit unorthodox when compared to the traditional workflow of a construction management organization, and these software products were not able to change aspects of the workflow that Dreamztech was able and willing to."

Our overall experience has been excellent. With RFID-enabled tracking, we now have accurate asset histories, automated work orders, and instant insights into equipment availability. The support team was very responsive during onboarding, and they continue to provide quick resolutions whenever we need help. The value for money compared to other CMMS platforms is outstanding since DreamzCMMS includes all features at a flat cost.

Must have especially with asset tracking and work orders

We had an operation that was lacking and the work order systems. We literally were just sending out emails to get things fixed or addressed. Now we have the system to track assets on repairs, as well as actually having a system for work orders. This helps us put a gauge on awareness and gives us the best information to make the decision we need to make.

Love our DreamzFSM

From the demo to daily ongoing support, I cannot imagine any better situation. No set up fees and user fees are well within competitive, especially for the value received.

Excellent. Staff everyone is great. I just wished I was able to take more time setting it up the way I wanted prior to jumping in, but that was the fault of my other software that sold out and kicked us off.

  • The best feature is the fact that the DreamzCMMS staff will change the software however is needed to best fit your team
  • That is a huge plus
  • I use other software's and all of our suggestions go into a box and may or may not get completed
  • Dreamz works for you and makes code changes in a day

  • Sometimes there is a disconnect with what we need here and what needs to be done
  • I also hate that I don't understand how to use all the features of the software
  • It can do so much, but I just don't understand all the buttons and I hate asking for help

Skyboss sold to Housecall Pro and we were unable to complete all the work needed on Housecall Pro's software. They would not make changes or accommodate for a business my size. My business was way to large to operate on their software so we had to switch.

"None of these sofware's offered any way for a service company to track expenses and parts on specific jobs. They all want a business to work with quickbooks, but that created double entering of data. I need a software to help time management not make it worse."
