About FirstVisit

FirstVisit is a cloud-based home care platform with HIPAA-compliant scheduling for non-medical private home care agencies. It is designed to help agencies support clients and staff while minimizing any daily struggles within operations. This solution can be used by home care agencies of any size, from start-ups to large enterprises. With built-in integration capabilities and smart scheduling technology, FirstVisit can reduce the need for paper logs, inaccurate timesheets, and manual processes. The FirstVisit dashboard includes employee schedules, client calendars, visit offer pages, plus more. Other features include billing, payroll, documentation management, automated alerts, and detailed reporting. FirstVisit’s mobile application allows caregivers to use a GPS-tracking tool to clock in/out of shifts. Caregivers can also use the mobile app to document tasks and details, respond to messages from management, and process electronic visit verifications. Customized pricing is available and provided by FirstVisit. Support is available online or via product documentation.

Very happy [most of the time] !

The people at First Visit have been what keep me wanting to stay with the company. I feel there is room for growth within the actual product, but I feel confident that they have the right people in the right places to make that happen. There are changes and updates being made daily. The dedicated team at First Visit seem to constantly strive to do better, listen and collaborate, and work tirelessly to make me and my employees lives simpler. So overall, I am happy with the company!

What they liked
  • Using the app as a caregiver is probably what we like most about this product- it is very simple to use and I feel like anyone could do it
  • Our caregivers are happy with the mobile app
  • In addition, the capabilities that the software has make this system an almost a one-stop-shop in terms of keeping track of important client and employee files and data, scheduling, adls, and more
  • Additionally, working with the team at First Visit is enjoyable, easy, and I feel heard in any concerns that I do have
  • The First Visit staff are always interested in new ideas and improving the product
Room for improvement
  • As much as I am happy with the product, I think there are some features that could be improved (but the First Visit is working on)
  • The main features I feel could be improved are probably an easier “on the go” or mobile administrator experience and scheduling that could be done more quickly
Switched From

I was using a scheduling software (that I actually quite liked) in combination with storing paperwork in a drive. I wanted a program that could schedule AND track clock in/outs, documentation, ADLs, save paperwork, was HIPPA compliant, and had the potential to streamline billing/payroll/invoicing. That is what I am getting out of First Visit with an improved experience every month.

User friendly

I throughly enjoy the First Visit app and how easy it is to navigate around.

What they liked
  • I love so much about the software
  • 1) easy to use
  • 2) I can access my schedule at anytime
  • 3) I like that I need to complete tasks, notes before signing off
  • 4) I’m able to read prior notes that help keep me up to date with changes
  • 5) I can see future shifts 6) I love how “clean” and simple the site is
  • 7) I love the logo
Room for improvement
  • 1) I would like an ALERT button when there is something new or a change in BOLD letters or a color
  • 2) I would like to see a drop box for responses
  • 3) I would love “Face Recognition” in the future

The Best Scheduling App for Homecare Ever!!

It a big A plus for me..

What they liked
  • The scheduling, edits and hours count up for me
  • I don't have to count the hours up now manual, the firstvisit does it for me
Room for improvement

I Did talk to the owners about more features that can work on the app that can make the homecare agency time go quicker and smoother like putting in a careplan sheet and adding more categories/titles to separate the staff and their duties

"Dan one of the founder, took his time and explain how the system works, did live training with my staff and check on me often to see how I am doing. That personal touch, that make you feel like more than just a $ sign to them."

Excelsis Health LLC

The training has been great. Also, the Account Manager listens for feedback during the training and makes adjustments as the company is able to provide. If an error occurred during the training with the software, the Account Manager follows up with the developer and keeps me updated. If I have a question and email him, there is always a timely response. Meetings have been virtual since day one which builds trust and rapport.

The product is user-friendly, easy to learn, and offers a variety of information and reports to manage my business all-in-one

Room for improvement

Offer the administrator function on the mobile app, but I know that is a work in progress

The customer service is exceptional and they are patient with helping you understand and maneuver through the software.
