FreeDOM by Health Data Services is a cloud-based home health care solution suitable for smaller practices and home health agencies. In addition to general home health, it also supports private duty and hospice care. The functionality in FreeDOM supports varied needs, from point of care to billing, scheduling to accounting. Key features include claims generation, statement creation and insurance eligibility verification and auto-posting. The barcode check-in feature allows patients to self-check-in and schedule appointment. Barcode tags can also be printed for doctors and staffs to any restrict unauthorized access to the facility. The appointment module allows to schedule repeated appointments, search for suitable timings, set email reminders and more. Patients can view prescriptions and their medical history in a self-service patient portal and also pay their medical bills. In addition to point of care and scheduling, its billing module includes features for insurance clearing, ePrescription, EOB posting, eligibility and print and mail services.
