Outstanding player in the video-hosting world. No competitor come close
I'm using this as a save storage for courses. It has a lot of protection against scraping, and piracy. That is what sold me on Gumlet. Basically I need to protect our materials in an efficient way. Keep in mind, most of the competitors do not even have this kind of protection with DRM and domain management
- The protection features against unauthorized use and privacy control are top notch
- I've see nothing come close, not even big brands
- Very Few Things actually: like I'm 99% satisfied
- Maybe I'll add more integration features other than the zapier one

Gumlet makes video hosting simple and stress-free
I’ve been using Gumlet for a little over two and a half years now, mainly for hosting my website sales videos, and it’s been rock-solid the whole time. Embedding videos is super easy, and everything loads fast without me having to tweak anything. I also love the built-in analytics! It’s nice to see how my viewers are interacting with each video. The one time I ran into a small issue, support jumped on it right away and fixed it almost instantly. That alone made me feel confident I chose the right platform. Overall, Gumlet has been one of the most hassle-free tools in my tech stack.

Gumlet Review after 1 month
Overall experience was good, because the main purpose of Gumlet was used to host videos on our website.
I like the video cdn bandwidth and DRM protection feature where we can secure our video content and speed up our video bandwidth on our website
Some of the documentations are not explained thoroughly, sometimes some of the function may face minor bugs, one of the case happened to me was unable to verify custom domain CNAME, although the cname has already set on my DNS zone editor

- Support got much better over the last months
- Before there were some delays and personel that did not have precise answers
- But since it is continously improving, no complaints
- Apparently a new folder system to organise the media better will be deliveredduring Q1 2026
- I am looking forward to it

Smooth, Modern Video Hosting for Tutorials and Client Libraries
I’m using Gumlet to build a growing library of short screen-recorded tutorials for my clients, and it’s been one of the smoothest tools I’ve added to my workflow. The hosting is fast, the video analytics are helpful, and embedding into Notion and sharing privately has been effortless. Until now I love it and if it proves to stay like this I am more than happy to have bought it. Only time will tell if my impression lasts…
- I have been looking for a replacement of Vimeo/Youtube for some time and now I have found it
- I love the way how I can upload my videos, embedded them and link them even in a community which was restricted to popular platforms like YT, Loom, etc
- I have not worked out how the Livestream works as it disconnects for me
- But tomorrow or the day after I will certainly work it out
- I am not quite sure when I run out of the minutes of video storage
- That is something I am bothered about as I plan to upload all my videos on Gumlet
- One thing I have not yet worked out is whether I am able to upload videos directly on my YT channel as I will keep this running

Gumlet video hosting
We were searching for a video hosting service as an alternative to Vimeo and we tried gumlet. As today we are happy with the service and we get an easy migration from Vimeo.
The player feels truly responsive and smooth, and the overall experience is fully in line , if not better, than the other video-hosting platforms we had been using before such as Vimeo
- the interface is still a bit behind in respect of modern saas
- I would liked also a migration from youtube channels

Effortless Video Management with Quality and Speed
using the platform is very enjoyable and getting started with Gumlet was incredibly simple; the setup was clear and straightforward. The support is excellent.

- I can store and share videos professionally and delivery them with very speedy CDN
- The only downside for me is the individual video page player
- It needs a little more attention as its a page I use a lot when sharing content with clients and it does not reflect the gumlet look and feel

Easy to use even for me
Being new in the course creation world I like that I can have all of my course videos on one platform especially with the LTD. DRM gives me peace of mind my product is secure but mostly I like the ease of use and the learning curve is just right.
I mostly like the ease of use especially for my level of expertise as I am quite new at video management
- On a few occasions, I noticed that it took a while to replace a video
- It just lagged and lagged for the longest time
