Downloading the software requires a bit of back and forth checking emails and then getting the link which if your network was acting up like mine was doing at the time, I almost thought it was no longer available to download

Macrium Review
I am a developer. My work in progress is always at risk on a local laptop. Even though we have good source control and production data is safe, if my laptop fails it can be a major irritation. Being able to quickly restore a machine to what it was this morning mitigates that. I have a rotation of daily, weekly, and monthly backups on Macrium. Disaster has not yet struck, but I am ready.
- Setup is easy, and operation is not overly intrusive
Just the fact that I have to backup at all; that there is a risk that my machine will need restoring, is the worst part

I had a failure, and had to restore, and the distance from the cloud to the laptop was just too far to be effective. It took weeks.

No support for free trial
If you offer a “Free Trial” to entice a potential buyer to purchase your product, it would be prudent to offer support if the potential buyer has a problem. It’s like a car dealer offering a test drive of a new car, but ignoring you if the car breaks down. I will not be buying the software, and I’ll post negative reviews for a less than satisfactory experience.
- It was easy to setup and set up an image backup
- I couldn’t get restore to work
- When I requested assistance they responded that there was no support for the free trial and directed me to their knowledge base
- I couldn’t find a resolution to my problem there

First Class Software
It has always been a rock solid backup utility, I use it for all our PC's either through Reflect Workstation or via Macrium Site Manager for remote recovery. If a PC is trashed or a new HD installed then the Rescue media on a USB stick can always do the job.
- Simple answer, It has not yet let me down in restoring a backup to a PC or server when it has been necessary to do so
- Also being able to mount a backup as a drive to access files without having to do a restore is a big plus point
- Nothing comes to mind, the only annoyance can be when an update or fix comes through, occasionally a reboot is required
- Not really a dislike and just an observance

Excellent experience, thank you! Backups can be mounted as volumes and explored with File Manager. Perfect!

Macrium Reflect is a solid business PC backup solution.
It has been a good product for us. We are often caught in between 'too small for enterprise' and 'too big for small business'.
- It was a good replacement for Code42's Crashplan Enterprise, when they dropped on-premises self-hosted storage
- The Reflect management server has a good set of features and is easy to use
When Macrium dropped the free version for home, I switched to the build-in Synology backup for my home PCs

simple to use, fast, effective and works.
Overall Good, I have needed to contact support once for a problem where Macrium would not start because of a licensing issue, but macrium support sorted the problem very qucikly.

Nice lean product
It does the things that it supposed to do. A nice lean product with no additional (useless) "stuff". Just a product that does what it is bought for to do.
- That we can buy a perpetual license, was the prime reason
- The units we work with are after shipment off-line, so a annual subscription is not possible
- In the past we used Acronis, as they went to a subscription version, we selected your product
- (so please keep this feature, otherwise we need to look for something different )
- None, it works fine
- I never had an issue with your product
