A necessary tool that can open up your account management and network management from anywhere

It is is robust directory services that gets its strength from being in the cloud and not tied to internal servers or connections. It is a industry standard user management solutions that allows us to run account lifecycles and connect with other software and programs.

What they liked

One of its greatest strengths is that it is universally used and able to connect and be used with almost all software and programs out there

Room for improvement

Maybe the biggest con is that Microsoft products are not always the easiest to configure for special circumstances and Azure would fall into this category sometimes

Why they chose it

"It is used everywhere and connects to almost everything. I didn't want something that we wouldn't be able to find support for or was limited in the programs/applications it could be used with."

Azure you best option for Microsoft product integration.

I've been a cloud engineer for this public cloud for 5 years. The platform has changed over the years but still offers new products that make our admin lives easier.

What they liked
  • Elasticity, better price, and integration with Microsoft products
  • Great data center location and decent performace
Room for improvement
  • Hyper-V virtualization is not the best hypervisor from a performance perspective
  • Some products are not fully integrated
Switched From

Price: AWS is more expensive overall, also for Microsoft products integration.

Why they chose it

"Their Kubernetes service is better and more stable"

Verified reviewer

What they liked
  • Azure provides scalability, data security, faster deployment and high availability
  • All these things are nowdays must for deploying a production application
  • Azure also have wide range of services that suits most of our computational needs through single platform
Room for improvement
  • Way of managing controls of Azure resources is complex
  • When you are devloping integrated solutions and if you are newbie than you are gonna get lots of permission errors

Azure for sure

Hospital & Health Care

What they liked

Azure has a lot of functionality in it, from VMs, Blob storage to Machine learning, and it is all laid out fairly easy to read, pricing is pretty good since we are a non-for-profit, I also like the vast amount of integrations that exist and how easy it is to add new ones through API

Room for improvement

On a personal level, if you aren't careful with using it you can rack up alot of costs, so you have to remember to turn off VMs when not in us

Scalable, flexible, agile cloud solution for organizations of all sizes.

We first started using Azure to migrate our on prem servers into the cloud. From a cloud management perspective, it is great to have everything reside in a single portal and we can scale up or down and deploy additional services/resources as needed.

What they liked
  • Microsoft Azure is a scalable, flexible, cloud solution for organizations of all sizes of IT environments
  • Whether you're just getting started deploying your first workloads, or have a mature IT environment, Azure will cater to your needs with the hundreds of built in services
Room for improvement
  • Sometimes you'll have to read through dozens of Microsoft documents in order to configure a more complex solution
  • For those experienced in IT management, this should not be too much of an issue
Why they chose it

"We chose Azure after working with our Microsoft Account team."

The ease of Azure

I have experience using Microsoft Azure to deploy and manage cloud-based applications, finding it easy to use and valuable in streamlining operations by reducing the need for physical hardware management and improving overall efficiency

What they liked

Simplicity of use scalable, secure, and reliable services for building, deploying, and managing applications across a global network of data centres

Room for improvement

its has a complex pricing structure, which can make it difficult to estimate and manage costs accurately, especially for larger or more dynamic workloads

Switched From

Switching made sense based on our goals, scale, and technical needs.

Overkill and complicated, but robust

Have used Storage, Computing, and Domain services, including DNS.

What they liked
  • Offers a wide variety of services, and backed by Microsoft
Room for improvement
  • It's such a behemeth that it's overkill for small teams
  • The accounting, subscriptions, resources, and there are so many organizational traits, it can take forever to track down resource responsible for a cost unless you know where to go
  • It also seems like there have been a variety of outtages lately, but mostly in the Office365 side (not really Azure)
Why they chose it

"Had to choose one, and the Microsoft offering seemed the best at the time."

Exploring MICROSOFT AZURE

The Overall Experience was Good and using Microsoft Azure was a great way to use developer tools and manage your app and adding AI features easily.

What they liked

The feature I like the most about Microsoft Azure is its real time analytics which gives real time data of apps and also its premade code templates which saves a lot of time

Room for improvement

The thing that I don't like would be that it is quite difficult to integrate with non-Microsoft software

Switched From

more DevOps features and cloud infrastructure was very good.

All rounder program with some issues

Information Services

What they liked
  • Best part about azure is that we can integrate it with many other services, create multiple Saas,Paas softwares
  • It has high scalability, strong security and DevOps Support
Room for improvement

Quite complexity due to new features being added at every moment in time, and it is also quite costly and not the easiest to configure at times

Switched From

Better integration and scalability and good features
