About NovaVue

NovaVue is a cloud-based electrical, energy, and utility monitoring, analysis, reporting, and alarming solution. It is used by large energy critical facilities such as hospitals, data centers, higher education campuses, & manufacturing facilities. The platform offers constant insight into KPIs including power consumption, system capacity, functional efficiency and quality. Key features include one-touch trending report, virtual meter deployment, waveform captures, power quality reporting and alarms, device geo-tagging for enterprise inventory management, QR device tagging, and gas, water, steam, temperature, and humidity Monitoring. It offers various services such as existing systems assessments, conceptual system planning, design assistance, specification development, infrastructure planning, system configuration or commissioning, user interface customization, KPI determination and customization, IoT and meter security, dashboard customization, and ongoing system maintenance and updates.

Best Monitoring Software I've Ever Used

Excellent, unparalleled.

What they liked
  • After suffering for well over a decade trying to get service and integration from large companies, in under two years we've been able to convert to this 3rd party system and get usable data immediately
  • It's incredibly user-friendly, and the notification interface (e-mail, text) works flawlessly
Room for improvement
  • The only limitation is what you can get out of the device
  • Waveform capture data doesn't give what's really needed - it will show a wavelength disturbance graph, but not a blip duration (in milliseconds) and voltage sag (in percentage)
  • But that's the fault of the meter, not this NovaVue software
  • We are in the process of trying to customize alerts so they are more usable, and the NovaVue service team is very accommodating

Because the other two interfaces are terrible, and the Eaton service team for this product line is even worse.
