Friendly, keen to advance and improve, easy to navigate

Value for Money, ease of learning the precedent tagging code, easy management of matters and clients

What they liked
  • How easy it is to understand the tagging coding
  • It would be the simplest on the market and easiest for someone to learn based on all other products on the market
Room for improvement
  • Bugs and length of time to correct bugs or issues that arise
  • Lack of features (options), trainin, and guides to fully utilise the Workflow feature to match what the system has to offer

Promises a lot, but delivers nothing but frustration.

Very poor. Lots of promises made that were not kept post implementation. Even the data migration was poor. We should have pulled out at that point..

The product has lots of clever features in principle; A client portal and bundling feature

  • Support is dreadful and problems do not get fixed
  • You just get an email back 2 weeks later asking if it is still an issue

Lawsoft was purchased by Thompson Reuters and made end of life so we had no choice.

Improved customer experience

Has everything a practice needs

What they liked
  • My initial customer experience was very unsatisfactory
  • However, steps were taken by the CEO to change that experience in a very positive way
  • I appreciate the steps taken by the CEO to better manage customer enquiries so there is no repeat of my experience
  • At the time of my initial enquiry I was reviewing a number of products to use as a practice management system for my new conveyancing business
  • Unfortunately as I had already chosen another product before contact was made by the CEO I did not proceed further with Practice Evolve
  • However, if I ever become dissatisfied with my current system Practice Evolve will be the first company I contact
Room for improvement
  • I would like to see pricing available on the website
  • As a new business this information would be useful during the initial review of proposed practice management software
  • If at least some price information was easily available I would have proceeded to book a demo through the website during my initial review of the various products available

Have used Practice Evolve for nearly 4 years with 21 user licences.

a functional system that ticks most of the boxes required.

What they liked
  • The format is quite intuitive and new users are able to become functional fairly quickly
  • We have found Practice Evolve to be open to suggestions regarding improvements and whilst the product may not have the functionality of other programs we are able to efficiently operate a very busy legal practice
Room for improvement
  • Our early experiences were sometimes difficult as we needed to communicate what we needed and wanted and not get trapped into what we were told by support people
  • Whenever I encounter a new person on the support desk I become worried about their levels of experience and I tend to resort to directly enquiries to people I know will be able to assist
