TextCortex fan for 2 years now!
It's my second year with the TextCortex Lite-3 subscription and I have to say that the proof that it keeps getting better is that I use it more and more in my daily life!
It has everything needed (and more) to cover all my work needs as a content creator, university professor and researcher
It could improve the Export option for the whole chat, producing a nicely formatted pdf instead of a markdown within the pdf

TextCortex is so promising !
even if I’m quite familiar with LLMs and overall AI features ; I’m new to TextCortex and still exploring it’s full potential ; relevant to say ; it’s promising ; I’m particularly interested in integrations and automations features ! I’m already working on a system that combines TextCortex and ClickUp certainly through Make !
- A lot of AI driven features ; I very much line the knowledge base feature
- Especially the feature that allow me to quickly add AI conversation to the knowledge base and also files from my google drive
- I’m so eager to explore the infinite possibilities of TextCortex such as integrations and automations
Hummm, sorry to say, but ; the price ; I’m bearing a business project but currently I’m low on money

Sider is not as complete and full of features as TextCortex ; indeed Sider is only a tool/side bar with chatbot with no more tools

Will activity try to screw you over
Guardrails are too many. AI is not a person; it's a tool. For example, I can go to Home Depot, buy a hammer, and build a house and Home Depot senses I may be competing for all the home builders in the world and will not let me pound nails with it the same way my competition is. In my case, I needed a privacy policy; the lawyer told me to get some terms, bring him something with the terms I like, and as a first draft, he would take it from there- doing it this way saves money. I am a startup, and my potential to fail is huge- it will be because no one buys my product, not because my Privacy policy was off. So, I copy a bunch of clauses from out-of-town companies that cannot compete with me or with them. Put it in text-cortex- NOPE, we will edit this. It could be harmful because it collects too much customer data (it's an online clinic). NOT ON PLAGURISM, BUT THEY MAKE AN ETHICAL DECISION. To prove this, I copied and pasted text-cortex's PP into the prompt and asked the same thing. There was NO problem because it saw its name. Go over to Claude- same thing? NOPE. It does the whole thing- no issues. And it even suggests better company protective clauses. On research- it is super woke- I need a framework for an article I am going to write on declining fertility and sperm rates in the USA. There is nothing controversial here; it is well-known. NOPE. It's harmful and puts forth untrue stereotypes about men and is hateful. Ok, let's test, change to women. Now, I am misogynistic, and it will not perpetuate hate. This is all happening on Claude, by the way, in the text cortex's prompt. Put in the same questions, hop over to Claude on the anthropic site (paid)- no problem either way. Explain with examples. I have 1020 credits left (a lot), so all I want is the prorated amount back. They made me wait for 4 days to get a response, and it was no. This goes above and beyond their 5-day refund policy because it is; actively blocking normal use I want just the prorated amount (amount left in the month of credits)
- NOTHING
- It has a bunch of features- but that's no good if you cannot write an article or for legal anything- forget it the ethical nanny will kick in on a simple legal doc (first draft)
- guardrails are excessive times out gets lazy frequently claude model is the only good one- but they make it "woke"
- no refunds or prorating of subscription of unused tokens
- slow customer service

Great tool for exam preparation!
My best friend recommended it to me. First, I was a bit sceptical but meanwhile I really love it for preparing for my exams! I always upload my university files and ask it for potential exam questions.
- I really like the customization options
- I found that it helps a lot on preparing for specific exams
- In the beginning, when studying for statistics, it could not help me because an error occured all the time
- I don't like how I always run out of creations when being in a studying flow
- Also, it sometimes does not follow my instructions properly so that I have to repeat it multiple times

First Time User - Very Impressed.
Fabulous. I can't get enough. I'm sad that my free trial ran out, I was mostly using it to validate my own writing style.
- Provides valuable feedback and validates its suggestions
- Broad knowledge base and relevant
lack of training (probably my bad), but i didn't really understand the buttons or how to word my queries in the best way

They took away their free option and went to subscription only. I'm looking for a free product (e.g. X uses per day).

The best AI for marketing copywriting
My overall experience is super positive, the onboarding is clear and very fast, I immediately started to get him to perform tasks and I saw that he fulfils his promises, so I am happy
I especially like the functionality that allows documents to be uploaded and writes outputs based on these
At the moment I have not noticed any negative aspects, for my current needs it is the best AI for writing marketing texts

because textcortex is better at analysing the loaded documents and thus the output

Most trustworthy AI tool since
Amazing! I feel like its the most trustworthy AI tool since.
- An actual AI tool, that has the guts to tell me what to do
- It is super objective
- Free plan is very limited
- Would love if it would have a couple of rounds of chatting more
Switched From
TextCortex AI appears to be more trustworthy.

Worth a try!
It was a good experience. So far so good. I am glad to have the opportunity to try it out further.
It provided current research and there are nice options easily available, user friendly
- I need to be able to upload bigger/more files without being cut off so quickly
Why they chose it
"I have not decided that yet. I have experienced down time on gpt though, so that influenced me to look around."

I hesitate to buy it, it's exacly what I need
Super to write studies and academic documents
- The facility of use and the precision of the result
- The limitation of creations per day and the price of the subscription :(
Switched From
ChatGPT is free of using, doesn't have limitation. I don't win enough money and i can't pay TextCortex
