Powerful Product
Great product, very powerful for editing design work, typography, and so on. It is a steep price in my opinion but the most powerful design software I've ever used.
- I like that it is the standard in the industry for use of digital art and desing work
- I use it primarily for logo and content design and features like the Image Trace tool stand out as something I use almost every day
- There is a huge learning curve
- Even as someone who has used it for 5 plus years, there are still things I have not figured out and am still learning how to do
Switched From
I needed a more powerful design tool and this allowed me to edit things like text, make vector art, etc.

I have a job because of this product
I have spent years learning the tool, but now I can't imagine my life or work without it.
- Illustrator offers the most design flexibility and customizations that I have been able to find in the industry
- It goes beyond that Canva or other competitors will ever be able to offer
- It is more work, but it is also the landscape in which truly original content can be made
- It's UI experience is not great
- The format is not intuitive and essentially needs to be explained by another human being through courses (whether in person or online)

Must have program for label creation
Overall, I am very pleased with my experience. It helps me accomplish my daily tasks, and I plan on using it for the foreseeable future.
- This program is amazing
- I use it every day for my job, and it is capable of doing everything I need to succeed
- One of the most useful features is its ability to import both DXFs and DWGs
- This is especially useful for going back and forth with CAD software
- I also like that I can pull in any image and create lines based on it
- It is not super intuitive, and there is a small learning curve
- I wish the sketching more closely resembled other 2-D CAD software, but it is usable
- It is especially hard to create unique shapes with fillets and line breaks, but it is doable

Reliable vector design for print production
It’s helped building our design-to-print workflow and reduce errors in color and sizing when printing client signage projects, and that has saved us time when we send proofs to clients.
Illustrator’s vector tools and print-ready presets are so detailed that it ensures signage designs will align perfectly for large-format printing
The software won’t work well on old systems, so if you throw big, complex files into its maw, it’ll slow down, which affects production schedules

Feature was not enough and customization option was limited on Canva.

Review of Adobe Illustrator
My overall experience with Adobe Illustrator has been great. However, I notice that my levels of creativity are average, which means I take longer than necessary to produce a great graphic design project.
- Adobe Illustrator is very powerful for producing vector graphics like logos that can be scaled without losing quality
- Its tools are awesome, especially for a professional graphic designer
- Learning Adobe Illustrator can be steep for non-graphic designers
- Those new to graphic design can be quickly discouraged when starting out
- You need a lot of creativity to use the tools and produce awesome graphics
- Few people have very high creativity

MS-Publisher was simply too limited for professional graphics for web and social media and print.

The Vector king
Illustrator has been tool of choice for most of my design work in the last 3 years. Once I figured my way around it, it's been an excellent tool for me.
- The repeat feature is fast becoming my favorite thing
- I also love the Asset Export feature
- That is a game changer for how I export Logos and their variations
I hate how bulky some of the designs I've worked on get and when the software means to crash, it crashes with flying colors
Switched From
Illustrator was just a better software for vector files. It was just much easier to get into and understand also.

Professional but not intuitive
When I finally got it, it was an ally of my every day work.
- A great tool to create professional designs
- An ally of each day work
- You have to do a course to know how to use it
- It is a professional design software not intuitive one
Switched From
When I have to do graphics for videos. It is very useful.
