Efficient and Interface Friendly tool
I do use fusion generally in 3D Printing most of the time for personal use but i do also some CNC methods on it
Easy Interface even the shortcut and the logic of the tools like Extrude/Remove in one button
Animation part and Simulation are unfortunately behind some softwares like SW or CatiaV5
Why they chose it
"It complete what fusion360 lacks and vice versa"

Powerful tool for Engineers
A versatile tool that can do it all. Very powerful CAD software with unlimited possibilities as long as you are willing to put in the time to learn.
Very flexible, can do everything from creating P&ID, to designs for 3D printing, to simulations for modelling new processes
Steep learning curve to begin with due to high number of features, requires a lot of tutorials and time spent on the job learning
Switched From
Fusion was cheaper and had more features that we needed.

- I like the different features and tools to define any shape I am looking for
Fusion 360 is not as smooth running as other CAD software, but is a great entry level product

Powerful 3D CAD and CAM Software
It's been great and it's such an easy product to use and Autodesk is always working to improve the software and add new features. Because of that it tends to be ahead of the curve in making it easy to design and program parts to be made.
- It's easy to learn and a powerful solution that is integral to our machine shop
- Nothing really other than machine posts for the CAM part of Fusion could be easier to work with
- That said, Autodesk's support and 3rd party support makes it easy to solve those challenges
Why they chose it
"Ease of use and built-in CAM/post processors are more powerful and cost effective."

Practical review from an Assembly Engineer
I began using Fusion in school for CAD coursework. Learning felt a little overwhelming but impressive at first, but guided lessons helped. Now, as an Assembly and Maintenance Engineer, Fusion is part of my daily work. It helps me design, troubleshoot assemblies. The simulation tool prevent error. Overall, Fusion is a simple tool to use
- The cloud based feature makes Fusion a game changer, providing no worries about losing files because they are stored in the cloud
- The real-time collaboration feature makes designing within my team much smoother and efficient, allowing us to work on projects simultaneously without version conflicts
I am quite satisfied with fusion, but the only downside is the hardware requirement for a high quality rendering
Switched From
Inventor and AutoCAD are good CAD tools, but changing needs led me to switch to Fusion. Fusion cloud based storage ensure easy access to my projects, while it real time collaboration makes my work with team members streamlined.

Fusion 360 for teaching
Overall it is a great learning CAD tool where the learning curve is very easy. I earlier use to use Solidworks, but it took me only 2-3 weeks to totally switch to Fusion 360 without any trouble. I also liked the Autodesk free learning resources available along with the tutorials.
- Fusion 360 collaborative workspace is amazing which I use to teach my engineering students
- The fusion teams channel is really helpful for my students who can now work together on their CAD files at one place
- No need to exchange Usb sticks now
- Fusion 360 is all great, couldnt think of any feature that I don't like
- I would say one thing, for assembly designing, Fusion 360 could be improved especially while applying constraints (joints in Fusion) and motion analysis
Switched From
I switched from SolidWorks around 3 years ago.

Autodesk Fusion, a joy to use
I have since stopped using other design programs, as autodesk make it really easy to contain all of my needs in one program, from creating circuits to have manufactured, to 3d printing designs.
- Fusion includes an extensive range of features, that you can seamlessly take from a sketch and realise as a product to be manufactured
- These include: Sheet metal designs, 3d renderings, PCB designs and many more
- The user friendly interface makes Fusion an absolute joy to use
- The pricing plan makes in perfect for the at home hobbyist, student or the engineering professional
There were few drawbacks, although I can imagine from an educators perspective, a teacher having to get all of their pupils to sign up to fusion may be an issue
Switched From
I found fusion less intimidating and more user friendly

Good 3d modeling
Verified reviewer
- I like that i can use this product free or pay for the full version
- with the full version you are able to use the online program anywhere
- With the free version you need to download and install the program
- I don't really like how you have to save everything online
- you are able to still save files to your computer but it has to be saved online

Great CAD Software
The application works spectacularly for CAD modeling of just about any part; and 3D modeling for 3D printing is great through this software.
The CAD modeling is very in-depth, and you can make just about anything all within one piece of software
I highly dislike the price and pricing model AutoDesk implements for their products
