Bitbucket Review
My overall experience using Bitbucket was good. I liked the product but it seems it is not that popular among developers.
Multiple projects under multiple repositories and a good and simple UI/UX experience are the features I like most about Bitbucket
- Found out that many people and organisations don't use Bitbucket that much
- Many are not familiar with Bitbucket

One of the simplest git hosts
Verified reviewer
- It is very simple to use, you simply create your repositories and then can push your code to them
- It has great security features such as 2 factor authentication
- I think you can create unlimited repositories
- The process for reviewing merge requests was more complex than on GitHub

To have unlimited private repositories included.

Great source control, with caveats
It's a perfectly adequate git host, though after using other offerings in the market, I tend to lean away from Bitbucket
- Easy to set up repos and good enough permission management for users
- Easy to organise repos into "directories"
- The Pull request experience isn't great, especially for longer-lived pull requests with a large amount of files
- I hear batched comments to PRs were added recently, so that's a step in the right direction

Solid Git Hosting for Atlassian Teams with Easy Pipelines
Straightforward Git hosting and reviews, best if you’re in the Atlassian stack Pipelines cover most needs; for heavy/complex builds we used self‑hosted runners
Tight Jira/Confluence integration; solid PR workflows and branch permissions - Pipelines are easy to set up (YAML, caches, env vars) and good for common CI/CD - Good value for small/medium teams (free private repos, sensible tiers)
- Pipelines minutes/concurrency can get pricey; hosted macOS/Windows runners are limited - UI performance and code search/browsing/editor feel behind GitHub/GitLab

Easy to pick up
Been using it for about 5 years in total across 3 organizations. Typically my usage stretches to reviewing PRs and checking code when developers are not available.
I like that it seems consistently adopted across different businesses so for anyone on contracts or who moves a lot there is not too much to learn
Hosted versions aren't forced to stay up to date so the UI can be jarring if switching between cloud and self hosted

Developer's best friend

- Great tool if you are using Jira to collaborate and manage code
- Very sleek UI and very easy to use
Some performance issues in pull request workflows and in searches; other than that, it has been a great experience

Good software for managing codebase
It is a good software for managing the codebase. A lot of good features are there.
Whenever we push some changes into a repository and when we click the create pull request button, it automatically selects the source branch as the latest pushed branch and the destination branch as the develop branch
- When we are trying to add comment in a PR, there are two options, one is review and other is resolved
- The review button is highlighted with blue color, which makes it attractive, but mostly people try to resolve the comments

Bitbucket- An Okayish Software from Atlassian
Verified reviewer
- The best part about Bitbucket is that it can be easily integrated with Jira, Confluence and also TeamCity
- Another thing I like about Bitbucket is that it has an extensive search functionality much better than GitHub
It is not as easy to use as other version control systems like Github and has a bit of a learning curve

Great tool for version control
Verified reviewer
- BitBucket seamlessly integrates with Visual Studio which makes my team's job easier to maintain version control of the code
- I work with multiple teams on different projects, so so if I need to look for something in the code, I can search through the code directly through the Bitbucket web interface without having to download the entire codebase
- There are no cons of Bitbucket that I can think of

Solid Git Hosting with Jira Integration
Bitbucket is great for Jira users and private repos but lacks GitHub’s ecosystem and speed.
- Private repos with free pipelines
- No cost for small teams
- I cannot say any cons for private repos and pipelines
