Best Product Design and Testing Platform!
My overall experience with BrowserStack is great, I still remember when I first integrated with Browser stack, and saw the standalone remote test run 5 years back! It was so cool!
- Its a great tool for web and mobile based applications, where I need to test various devices
- Comes in handy with all the configurations, well documented about the usage
- For a beginner to expert, its a very good tool
- Sometimes I noticed minor bugs, like the same build from CI runs twice
- So they can be better tested before releases

A Powerful Testing Suite with Real Device Coverage
My overall experience with BrowserStack has been outstanding. Their support team is highly responsive and always ready to engage, whether through meetings, webinars or via documentation, they consistently provide helpful guidance. The suite of testing tools they offer is instrumental in our workflow: it enables us to maintain high quality in our products, catch issues identified during analytics reviews, and quickly address user-reported bugs.
- App Live is invaluable, allowing for manual testing across a broad range of real devices and browsers, helping us to uncover device-specific or browser-specific issues we would not be able to reproduce in-house
- The platform significantly bolsters quality assurance for our systems
- The cost of the higher-tier plans can be challenging for smaller organizations
- It would be beneficial if BrowserStack offered more affordable entry-level options for these advanced tools, even with usage limits
- Smaller teams often have lower testing volume, but having accessible starting tiers would allow us to adopt more of the platform’s capabilities and potentially scale up to unlimited plans as our needs grow

Browserstack Review
Access to a large library of real devices: A key advantage for developers and QA teams is the ability to test websites and mobile apps on thousands of combinations of real devices, browsers, and operating systems without needing a physical device lab. Robust testing capabilities: The platform supports both manual "Live" testing and automated testing using popular frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, and Appium. This allows for comprehensive functional, regression, and UI testing.
- Ease of using Apple Pay testing in India
- It was a good experience using apay via BrowserStack + a lot of other features that BrowserStack provide,s as bug capture
- The BrowserStack gets stuck sometimes, and we have to end the session
- So we can start again, but by doing this, we lose our work progress

The best solution for mobile automation
We started partnering with browserstack over a year ago because we wanted a better solution for mobile testing. The Browserstack team sat with us and provided technical feedback, training and demos in order for us to ramp up quickly. They are always proactively looking to help and offer solutions, and we have now integrated their mobile automation into our regression test cycle. They provide a safe and integrated way to seamlessly run tests, with detailed dashboard and metrics to help triage.
- What I like the most about Browserstack is the level of support and care that the team puts into their products
- The team is always proactive in offering training and support, providing advice and technical troubleshooting when needed
- I feel like the Browserstack team is sometimes trying to encourage the purchase of new products too aggressively
- I would prefer a target approach to understand the customer needs first instead of looking to sell more options that would not fit our roadmap
Why they chose it
"We chose browserstack because of the large array of devices, the combination of live and automation on mobile, and the cost that fit our budget needs."

Powerful Testing Platform with Room for Performance Improvements
We initially started using BrowserStack with a single team to streamline our cross-browser testing process. Over time, its reliability, ease of use, and wide real-device coverage made such a strong impact that now the entire organization relies on it. The ability to test instantly across multiple browsers and devices without maintaining in-house infrastructure has been a huge productivity boost. The only area for improvement would be occasional latency on real devices during peak hours and a slightly restrictive session limit on some plans. However, BrowserStack’s responsive support team and continuous product enhancements more than make up for it. Overall, it’s a robust, scalable, and developer-friendly platform that has become an essential part of our QA workflow.
- I really like that BrowserStack provides instant access to real devices and browsers
- It saves enormous time and effort compared to managing in-house device labs
- The performance is consistent, and the UI makes it easy to switch between environments
- I also like that they support automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, and Appium — it’s very flexible for different testing needs
- Sometimes tests take longer to start, and real-device sessions can lag a bit
- Otherwise, it’s a great product overall
- We cant run adb commands on their devices

Browserstack a live device testing hub
We use it to test most of the products and projects we work with. My testing team find it easy, effective but but expensive however value for money when comes to live device testing
- Multiple devices, live device testing and security is the thing which I like the most
- Testing multiple devices live is not cost effective but browserstack make it easy for me and saves
Sorry but a bit expensive thing but my team is enjoyed it and finding it value for money so I am not focusing on that part much

Test Automation and Live Testing Review
Overall, BrowserStack has made my testing life much easier. I can quickly check how my app works across different environments and catch bugs I would’ve missed before. It’s become an essential part of my automation workflow.
- I really like that BrowserStack lets me run my automated tests on so many real devices and browsers without setting anything up myself
- It’s super easy to plug in my existing test framework and just start running
Sometimes the sessions feel a bit slow when a lot of people are using it, and the price can go up if you need more parallel tests

Solid cross-browser testing solution that saves tons of time
BrowserStack has been a game-changer for our workflow. Being able to test across so many different browsers and devices without maintaining our own lab is worth the investment alone. There are some minor hiccups here and there, but the time it saves us is huge. If you're doing any kind of cross-browser testing, this tool pretty much pays for itself. Definitely recommend giving it a try.
- The variety of browsers and devices is quite impressive
- We can test on pretty much any browser version going back years, plus real iOS and Android devices
- This alone saves us from having to maintain a device lab
- Starting up a test session is pretty quick, maybe 30-60 seconds to spin up a VM
- The screenshot feature is great for quickly checking layouts across multiple browsers at once without manually opening each one
- As for integration, connecting it to our existing tools was straightforward enough
- Their docs are decent
- It can be a bit slow sometimes, especially with the mobile devices
- You're controlling a real device remotely so I get it, though it's usually manageable
- Just something to keep in mind if you're doing a lot of touch interaction testing

Browserstack - great for mobile automation
It's been a positive experience overall. They have the main devices and OS versions that I need. They have a decent dashboard to view test results, recordings and performance information. I'd love if they expanded their API and their MCP server to include device performance information and make it a little easier to get that into a digestible format.
- I work primarily in native mobile automation which works just as well as you'd expect
- What I think goes under the radar is the support which is super helpful and always ready to help
- There's been multiple times when I've even suggested features that have been implemented in a matter of days
- I can't really call this a criticism of browserstack but the Appium system is pretty flawed and unwieldy to work with
- Not to mention how some features are only available for some server versions with particular extensions
- Luckily Browserstack gives you a couple of Appium versions to work with
