Powerful Tool
Canva is an extremely powerful tool at its price point. I can create professional-quality materials in a fraction of the time it used to take me. The true bonus, however, is that it is so intuitive. Any one with baseline software experience will easily pick it up in a short period.
- The Canva AI is simply incredible
- Yes, it may take incremental adjustments to fine-tune the perfect graphic but WOW
- The one disadvantage is the available photos in the elements section
- Although they are several to choose from, they tend to have the same people making it difficult to have a theme that doesn't seem to duplicate (if that makes sense)
Why they chose it
"Adobe was much more expensive as well as more difficult to learn the software."

Awesome for basic creative design
Canva has been one of the most intuitive creative tools I've used so far, after being a dedicated Adobe Illustrator fan. Overall I'm very happy with Canva, and start off using it over any other tool because of how easy it is to use and the simplicity of its features.
- I start with Canva for every graphic/social media post, because it's easy to use and I've been able to create basic graphics much quicker than before
- My particularly favourite feature is the "Copy Style" button, makes everything easier being able to apply a previously applied style to a new element
- And video editing has been great so far, especially for caption design - we've been happy with the stylization Canva offers
- I know the paid versions would be wonderful but to be honest I've been very happy with the free version with what I've needed it for so far
- My least favourite part to Canva is how premium/paid elements, templates, etc
- are shown in search results, and feel like they dominate results
- So much so that if they removed premium elements from those who have free accounts, it wouldn't offer much at all in that regard
- It can be challenging to wade through to find quality items mixed with all of the premium elements
Switched From
I rarely open Illustrator now for the creatives I produce, because Canva has been much quicker for the simple graphics I work on regularly.

New useful design features
Verified reviewer
Canva recently added so many useful AI tools that help produce consistent materials and easily transform one project into a different format
- I heard that the price will be increasing this coming year which I think will be a barrier to many
- Hopefully the addition of new features outweighs the increase in price

Our design HQ in the cloud. Fast, collaborative, and endlessly useful
I’m Matías, founder at Anunzi. We migrated from Corel and some Adobe apps to Canva because it’s perfect for a distributed team. It centralizes assets, keeps brand consistency, and lets multiple people create, comment, and approve in real time. Ease of use is excellent; new hires become productive on day one. Features cover 90% of our marketing needs, image editing, layouts, animations, and quick exports for web and print. Image editing handles background removal, color tweaks, and retouching well enough for campaign speed. Video editing is ideal for short social clips and explainers; when we need advanced audio or effects, we export to another editor. Value for money is outstanding considering how much production time it cuts, and customer support plus the help center have been responsive whenever we needed guidance. Frequent updates keep adding smart AI tools and quality-of-life improvements without breaking our workflows. Five stars because Canva became our design HQ and materially reduced turnaround times across clients and channels.
- What I like most is how quickly our remote team can move from idea to publishable assets
- Real-time collaboration, shared brand kits, and a central library for templates, photos, and logos let us keep everything in one place and ship faster
- The templates are genuinely good, so we can adapt them to campaigns in minutes instead of hours, and features like background remover, Magic Design, and instant resize save a ton of time for ads, social, and client decks
- Canva isn’t a full replacement for advanced motion graphics or pixel-level edits, heavy compositing and very fine typography control still fit better in pro tools
- Large multi-page designs can feel slow on weaker laptops, and video editing, while improving, is simpler than a dedicated NLE
- None of these have been blockers for our day-to-day
Switched From
We switched because Canva fits a remote, fast-moving team better. Real-time collaboration, shared brand kits, and templates let us produce on-brand assets in minutes without passing heavy files around. The browser workflow, easy permissions, and predictable pricing gave us more speed and value than our mixed Corel/Adobe setup for day-to-day marketing work.

Canva has almost replaced illustrator... almost
Been extremely useful as a designer when i'm just feeling a bit uninspired or lazy or need something quick and i don't want to hunt for images. especially when i didn't have photos yet.
- I really like that the free version has enough to get by but the pro version is worth the money
- The interface is fun and easy to use and it seems like they update it regularly with new features
- It looks pretty and it's easy to share with people what you're working on
- I've only needed support once ad they were pleasant and friendly
- I don't like that sometimes i have accidentally worked on the project in 2 windows without realizing it and had to re-do alot of things
- There's also limited photo editing capabilities
- I would like more filters like instagram

it's cheaper, and there's usable templates and graphics. and working on simpler projects

Great Tool for ANYONE Creating Content!
This Product is One of my Favorite Tools I use Almost Daily and its Features and ability to share in a Team Setting is Awesome!
- Canva is great for creating Image Presentations
- I have used Power Point since it first came out and now with Canva the Ease of Use for creating Powerful images to use in Presentations is Amazing
- I have several accounts and trying to keep them organized is something that I am not a fan of, as it is very easy to hope into the wrong account
- It doesn't help that they changed the opening interface

Best image editor and marketing materials creator.
My experience with canva has been great since day one, It helped me create flyers, banners, business cards and everything needed for my business easy and fast.
I like the quantity of designing resources it has and the quality of it, on Canva I can create beautiful marketing materials in a matter of minutes, with its templates and easy platform
There was a recent change on the original layout of resources when you search for a specific photo or design, that I am still getting used to, but everything else is great
Switched From
I made the switch because Canva has templates and examples of designs that make it easier to create my own marketing materials.

Canva for the Win
I love Canva. It has been a great experience. It can do almost anything that you want. You just have to figure out how.
- The biggest upside to Canva is the number of options for little or no money
- It can do almost anything you want; you just have to figure out how
- I love the preset options and the ways I can customize them to what I want
- There is not much I don't like
- If I had to choose one, I suppose the biggest downside that I've had is a long countdown, like a 5-minute one
- They have very short ones, but I have to make them manually with slides
Why they chose it
"I chose Canva because it was the most bang for my buck. It is easy to use and has so many great option."

Ideal for small businesses
Well recommended. If you're in a hurry or want a fast result Canva delivers. Plus the different formats and templates speed things up.
- Very easy to use and ideal for low tech companies that want quality results
- Small businesses that can't afford graphic design teas shuold absolutely use this
- Results look a little off brand as a result of you having to choose a template and stick with it
- But the choice is good
