Fast, Intuitive, and Visually Stunning Real-Time Renderer
D5 Render has become an essential tool in my architectural workflow. As someone who values both speed and quality in visual presentations, D5 Render strikes a perfect balance between ease of use and professional-grade output. Whether for client presentations, competitions, or concept development, it saves me time while delivering impressive visuals. It’s an excellent choice for both beginners and professionals in the field.
- The real-time rendering engine is incredibly fast and produces stunning, photorealistic results
- I also love the intuitive user interface, rich asset library, and seamless integration with SketchUp and other modeling tools
- D5 Render allows me to iterate design ideas quickly without sacrificing quality
- It requires relatively powerful hardware to run smoothly, and performance can drop with very large or complex scenes
- Also, the material customization options, while good, are not as advanced as some other professional renderers
Switched From
switched from Twinmotion to D5 Render because I was looking for a more refined rendering quality with better lighting realism and material response. D5 Render offered a smoother real-time rendering experience with more photorealistic output and a more intuitive user interface. It also integrates better with my existing workflow, allowing me to achieve high-quality visuals faster and more efficiently.

D5 render in student activity
As a student, my overall experience with D5 Render has been incredibly positive. It strikes the perfect balance between powerful visual output and ease of use, making it a reliable tool for both quick concept presentations and more polished renders. It’s helped me not only present my ideas more professionally but also deepen my understanding of spatial lighting and material behavior—all without the need for overly complex setup. For academic projects, it’s become one of my go-to rendering tools.
- As an architecture student, D5 Render has completely upgraded my design workflow
- It’s easy to use, runs well on mid-range laptops, and delivers impressive real-time visuals
- The live sync with tools like SketchUp and Revit, plus a rich asset library, saves me tons of time
- D5 doesn’t just make my renders better—it’s made learning about lighting and materials more intuitive
- Highly recommended for students who want speed, quality, and simplicity
- While D5 Render is a powerful tool, one limitation I’ve noticed as a student is its limited flexibility in custom asset creation
- While the built-in library is rich, importing custom models or fine-tuning materials can sometimes be a bit clunky or less intuitive, especially when aiming for very specific design aesthetics

Very professional visualization tool for architecture, interior design, and many others.
Verified reviewer
- It is very easy to create real time rendering, high quality visuals and videos in a really small amount of time
- It has a direct sync with Archicad, which makes it really convenient to use for almost every project
- The interface is also very intuitive and beginner-friendly
It requires a relatively good video card, but apart from this, but apart from this, there is not much I can complain about this software

D5 provides a much better rendering experience for a much better cost.

D5: A highly iterative design solution
it has been an incredible and encouraging experience. I will definitely continue using D5 and remain committed to supporting the growth of the software.
- D5 is a highly iterative software, well known for its rendering speed and ease of use
- What I’ve enjoyed the most is the exceptional technical support provided by the D5 Support Team
I believe for now, nothing because D5 team has truly surpassed my expectations especially with the team periodic update

D5 Render. A Complete 3D Software.
Amazing so far. I've been using other rendering software for a few years now, and i would add that D5 render has been the easiest and fastest that i managed to learn and master.
- D5 Render interface is easy to understand and master
- The ease of implementing material assets and models really surprise me
- AI options also helps to speed up certain process and my work tremendously
- It's quite affordable for such a complete 3d rendering software
- I would recommend it to all who wants to improve in photorealism rendering and speed up their work flow
- It need to add in more kitchen and bathroom assets models
- There are certain times, when in the midst of rendering, D5 Render will freeze and i need to restart it

D5 is great for Architectural Rendering
I was a Lumion user for around 6 years and I switched to D5 last year. I'm really satisfied with the quality of the renderings and its speed. It updates every few months, each one with important improvements.
- The software runs smooth, easy to use, fast and with great quality
- The customer support is pretty good too
- The price for the Pro version is affordable in comparison with the competition and also has a Free version with a few limitations that works great too
- The price could be a little lower but so far is pretty good
- The AI tools needs to improve in some aspects but it goes on the right track
- The City Generator lacks functions and need a lot of improvement to be really useful
Switched From
D5 has a free version with reasonable limitations that works pretty good. The Pro version is cheaper than the competition and the rendering quality is at least on par. The constant updates with big improvements helps a lot to ease the workflow.

Elegance at its finest
D5 is an easy-to-learn software which I have started an year ago. My experience with D5 has been real smooth and easy since day 1. And all those tutorials and guidance from the Forum has been really helpful.
- Its real-time rendering ability to provide renders at high quality with minimal time requirement
- Its AI post processing is a plus when the Renders need to look Premium
- The material customisation is a little basic compared to other softwares like Vray
- It could use some material mapping and customisation channels
Switched From
The mentioned Software does not support heavy file with easier workflow and the renders took time as well

Streamlined Rendering with Intuitive Controls, but Limited Object Manipulation
It was a good overall experience because of the ease of use when it comes to rendering, and the live sync is handy.
I like that the viewport gives you the ease of editing the lights and textures of the imported model
Not being able to directly move the objects within the imported model, but since it's easy to maintain to fix those within the imported model
Switched From
Because of the UI, and how, it was easy to get into d5
