Love this software

not really a con - but I wish that while searching through tasks you could drill down to the client custom fields like you can in projects

Love Firm360

It's been great. Their support is fantastic and they are quick to respond. Also, they are incredibly patient when training. Our firm had to find a new CRM platform when our old one was no longer being supported and we tried another cloud based platform prior to Firm360 and it was riddled with issues. We kept with it for 2 years and just couldn't deal with it any longer. The team at Firm360 made the transition easy and even though we had just learned and gotten used to the former one, switching again to a new one was a lot easier than expected.

Their project management is great, it meets most of our firms needs and once we were fully set up, it has really increased our efficency

Room for improvement
  • Their billing portion could use some work
  • It would be great if their invoicing and statements were a little more personalizable

Firm360-Amazing Software

Overall it is a great product that is continually improving. I love how it's made for accounting firms. The features really make that obvious.

What they liked
  • Firm360 is a great way to make information accessible firm wide
  • Emails can be linked which allows other so see information if needed
  • You can create letter templates which allows you to mass send engagement letters
  • Can also manage workflow using projects and tasks
  • Many great features of this software
Room for improvement
  • There are occasionally some glitches on the website, but the support staff is very quick to respond and fix issues
  • It doesn't handle email sync well when there are multiple emails tied to a client

Firm360 Review

Our overall experience with Firm360 has been excellent. Once you try it, you'll never go back to what you were using

Overall experience has been great. I cannot say enough good things about their staff. It is refreshing to talk with folks that actually care and are able to help rather than read from a chatbot script!

  • Not all projects show in the print driver
  • You have to go to the document once printed to Firm360 and assign the desired project

Onvio is complex and not very logical. Support was TERRIBLE. It seems that it was designed where support is a major profit center. The more you call, the more they make.

Easy to use

I have enjoyed using FIRM 360, it has been a huge upgrade from our previous software and keeps everything in one palce.

I think the only thing I have disliked so far is if I am on page 7, and click an client, if I hit the back space, it will take me back to page 1

An excellent fit for our new firm

Firm360 has been an excellent fit for our new firm. It checked off boxes that others in the market couldn't, including the most reputable software companies. We're extremely happy with the decision we made to go with them!

Very happy we made the change

Fantastic. I'm biased because I chose it, but we have been very happy overall. The UX is leaps and bounds above PracticeCS. We also previously used GoFileRoom, and the ability to search for docs by typing in a word actually works in Firm360, and we replaced NetClientCS. With Firm360, the documents are immediately and reliably delivered to a client when we want. Our tax return delivery process is also much more streamlined.

What they liked
  • The impetus for change was portal functionality
  • Clients have responded positively
  • We got document management in the bargain, much easier billing processes that result in getting paid sooner, better task management
  • Customer support is top notch
  • They care, are responsive and are continually improving their product based on feedback
  • The comparison leaves Thomson Reuters far behind in the dust
Room for improvement
  • The setup of a new system is never fun, but they did offer us a lot of support in getting everything up and running
  • The cost for set up I listed is what we paid a third party to get our old data moved into the new system
  • We don't have all of the reports we were used to and have missed some of those, but we can easily export to Excel and manipulate the data to our heart's content
  • That was inexplicably difficult in Practice CS because it required a lot of data cleanup first
  • Would also be nice to be able to add "upload only" access for some users who need to upload bookkeeping or payroll info to us, but be restricted from other access
Switched From

Mostly because we could no longer tolerate our old system. Client portals in NetClientCS were unreliable and hard for clients to use. PracticeCS was robust in features, but hard to use and difficult to learn because TR likes to paywall all their training. Support was spotty and often had long wait times and they charged us. Firm360 doesn't send us bills for support. I had the feeling that Firm360 would treat us right, and that has been the case without fail.

Great Software for Accountants!!!

My overall experience has been great. The team at Firm 360 have always been quick and eager to help with any issues, questions, or concerns we have had. I would definitely recommend this to any accounting firm wanting to be primary digital.

What they liked
  • My favorite feature on Firm 360 is that you can virtually track a project
  • You can update the project status to show who is working on it, and what step they are on
  • This saves a lot of confusion and running around when a client calls to ask our Admin team what the timeline of their return, bookkeeping, etc
Room for improvement
  • There is not really anything that comes to mind when thinking about my least favorite feature
  • Firm 360 is constantly doing updates and informing us on "what's new
  • " The team at Firm 360 are also open to suggestions which is great

The vault did not have a great capacity for our workflow. It also did not provide us with project workflow management.
