GoTab A modern solution for todays hospitality challenges
Working with GoTab has been refreshing. While a smaller company, they have provided me tremendous support and have been very responsive to our feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- GoTab’s point-of-sale (POS), kitchen display system (KDS) and entire restaurant commerce platform helps us server our guests better and run our business more profitably than ever
- Instead of requiring us to purchase or lease proprietary hardware on a single operating system, we have the flexibility to run everything in a Windows environment with the hardware we choose
- It’s still a developmental platform and the hardware can be better
- With that said, they have continuously improved the system, the functionality, and listen to feedback

Best Value & Innovative
I really appreciate that this platform has evolved and continues to add value-add features. Our previous POS "went dark" and started changing more for the service, which just didn't make any sense. GoTab consistently releases new features and I look forward each time to what new options I can have to engage my customers.
Flexible platform has been able to expand and adapt to our changing needs as a business

Arryved was a great beginner option for us as they offered bare bones processing that met our needs for the best price. It looked like a school project that was turned into a business. Despite the excellent customer service, the lack of functionality and lack of feature development combined with new additional features directly contradicting the value of the product led us to explore other options.

Stay away from GoTab if you work with UberEats, DoorDash, GrubHub etc…
One of the worst experience in my 40 years carrer, I have worked with so many pos system, anyway if you are integrated with UberEats, DoorDash etc… do not switch to GoTab they incapable of switching accounts over. We have been planning this for several months and a week later it’s still not working at 100% We lost a week of sales out of cloud kitchen, without counting the complaints, cancelled orders, bad reviews and unnecessary stress, the switch was a big mistake, go with the pros instead like Toast or Square even if it’s a bit more expensive. It’s obvious they are inexperienced, they cannot onboard a menu and pictures for you, be prepared to do it yourself and good luck! We know more then what they do now going through this process, how many of you know that GrubHub only accept changes in integrations on Tuesdays only? How many of you knew that DoorDash needs 5 days to unlink from previous integration in order to accept (Stream) their integration partner? Nobody of course unless you are in that particular line of business, this is why my conclusion is they are all clueless, not trained properly, not professionals. The las thing I will point out is the way the tickets are printing are a big mess, they are crowded, font is too big, they are unreadable, the name of the guest is hidden in the middle of so much unnecessary wording, when I asked if they could clean the way the tickets look like I was told by a [sensitive content hidden] this will be up the development team and could take month, meaning nothing will change. I wish I could post pictures here but if anyone wants pictures feel free to contact me, this is the most ridiculous thing I have seen in my career! This is my story, they failed us miserably and nobody can fix issues, we learned everything the hard way, hopefully this will help someone out there.

Inexperienced GoTab team, cannot onboard new accounts, lack of knowledge on how to takeover an existing account, they are only good for new accounts not integrated with 3rd delivery platforms

Fan of Go Tab!
We were an early adopter and our experience has been very good. They have consistently updated their features and made improvements though out the time (3+ years) we have been with them.
- Ease of use, customer support, accuracy of guest entered orders, daily reports
- The Cash sales "processor" is difficult to maintain
- Limitation of choice of mobile credit card swipers

Gotab a very good POS with only minor issues
overall the positive and support have been great. Having a dedicated rep when we signed up to have monthly/weekly meetings made the transition one of the easiest I have done (I have done 3 now).
- The POS itself does everything you want it to and sometimes more
- Support has been great
- They have chat, Call, and email, and 99% I get a quick response, and phone support is almost always answered or a quick call back
- We mainly use it for the POS and the KDS (food truck) and for that purpose it is great
- I also like the east of Hardware
- I was largely able to use my previous hardware (tablets) and the new CC readers they have are much more affordable
- This is very useful when doing off-site events
- We have had some issues with the credit card machines freezing up
- A quick reset always fixes it but shouldn't happen
- Support has been very receptive to helping us fix this

Overall great for the restaurant / venue that just needs a little more flexibility.
Overall I really love the experience GoTab provides. They have been so helpful in developing the needs of our unique venue. I would recommend to anyone that
- The flexibility of what the system can do is incredible
- There is no other system out there that allows you to really customize the set up can change things on the fly
- It is prefect for venues that offer more than just meal service
- I would suggest to any brewery that is often pivoting their service model
- We still run into daily hiccups that sometimes can not be explained
- If development stays at the same rate that it has been on I would imaging things smooth out sooner than later

Great POS system, ability to work create while having all the normal features of the other POS systems
It's been a good experience as they have set-up up our Food Hall to work the way we want, which is most important. Our model is slightly different and we have been able to work with the team to accomplish our needs.
It's ability to innovate and work within our system which is extremely difficult to set-up with 8 different vendors
- UI, w could use a little improvement to make it more customer friendly
