I’m (still) lovin’ it

Indispensable tool for the team. So nice to have one place to manage everything team-related and not require our employees to have multiple apps.

What they liked
  • It’s a complete hub for managing our team
  • It does it all, from communications to scheduling, from timekeeping to form submissions and task assignment and tracking
Room for improvement
  • Sometimes there are delays in receiving chat messages
  • I find that if I refresh my chat screen every day, the problem is mitigated

We were also using a very old card swipe system for timekeeping that was a dinosaur. Needed an easier way to manage it all and the addition of a scheduling feature and PTO tracking.

"Better functionality (time off tracking in particular), plus a full suite of modules we would be able to implement as time went on and we’d gotten past the basics of scheduling and time tracking."

Thanks for making the transition to this software such a breeze

I have enjoyed exploring the capabilities of Connecteams, and I think we are only scraping the surface with all of the things that Connecteams is capable of. With Connecteams, we can build customizable templates to manage our data accordingly in an easy seamless feature. Forms can be structured this way too. It's great.

Overall it has been a learning experience, but a good one, You do have to figure the app out and what you're trying to do is not always intuitive.

Assessment of our Digital Office

We are a small nonprofit working with volunteers so it has been so instrumental in coordinating our team through a digital office. This has been excellent and we can coordinate our team, have evidence of activities done in real time from anywhere in our country.

What they liked
  • It is easy to use and has tutorials that are very helpful
  • It is simple to access on the go and makes connecting to a virtual office so efficient and cost effective
Room for improvement

The challenge I have is a feature that would be great to have: basic payroll features connected to staff timesheets that are so great to use, or even if there was a template in forms for generating pay slips

Would recommend for a growing busiess

Offers a lot of functions under one page. The app is very user friendly but the website is more complex. I enjoy using it but it takes getting use to. I would prefer it to be more simplified.

  • Ability to have clock in and clock out, and add task management to every aspect of work flow
  • It’s very helpful for a growing business

  • When co workers don’t tag my label, I’m not notified of tasks assignment to me
  • I also am not notified about comments in tasks
  • I also find it annoying that I have to switch between user view and the other view to have capabilities that I wish were on one page, not two

We found asana didn’t offer enough adaptability for our growing team. And we liked at we could do scheduling snd clocking in through Connecteam.

Wonderful Program!

Overall, I'm very satisfied with Connecteam. I needed help once, and they were great! I know they will always be there when I need them, and that's real support.

What they liked
  • For one, it's free up to 10 employees, which is great for start-up businesses like mine
  • It's very in-depth and user-friendly as well
  • It does everything I want for the company, including scheduling, forms, availability, job assignment and confirmation, there's the knowledge base, and so much more; it's just amazing
Room for improvement
  • Im not sure, I wish I could upload my pre-existing forms to the form section instead of having to recreate them
  • Another nice-to-have will be a ready-made guide to offer employees on how to accept, start, complete tasks, clock out and submit forms
  • For me, it's simple, but for those not used to technology, it can be a bit overwhelming, and it's extra work for me to go in and get screenshots of each step to create a guide for them
  • There are videos, but they are mostly for admin
  • If you can't do the guide, a video specific to field users to teach them how to use the app would be amazing

Connecteam - Easy to use and Hard to Lose

Overall it has been pretty positive. Adding employees to Connecteam has been simple after taking 5-10 minutes learning and exploring. I will say that as a Director for our Company, I get notifications every time someone confirms a shift or a shift changes and that can be quite a lot but I am sure there is a way to disable that.

What they liked
  • The amount of utilities within the program
  • You can chat with the employees, it notifies them of any changes, you can claim shifts, etc
Room for improvement
  • Making Shifts on Connecteam is a little tricky
  • I am personally not a fan of when it disconnects a shift from the whole chain when you have to make a change to that specific shift, and that there has to be someone on the shift no matter what (we have days where there are no classes due to Holidays)

Meets All Our Needs

We're a small business of 3 full-time staff and a handful of part-time or seasonal folks. We were using Square to schedule staff and track hours, but the main issue was lack of integration with Google Calendar. As we explored alternatives, Connecteams stood out because of the small business level pricing (zero!) and so many helpful features. The video guides make it easy to train staff how to use it and customer support has been responsive to questions. Overall, it's been a great experience!

What they liked
  • We started using Connecteam as a way to schedule staff and track hours because it easily integrates with Google Calendar
  • I love the additional features like shift tasks and team chats
  • Overall, a great experience and exactly what we needed
Room for improvement

I truly don't haven't any issues with Connecteam, it fits our needs with any bugs or issues and ach user has an easy time accessing what's important

Square does not integrate with any calendar app.

Gets the job done!

Overall, it has been a good experience. It’s given me what I need to get the job done. I couldn’t ask for too much more than that.

  • I wish I had more mobile access as I do with my laptop
  • I do a lot of work on the go so I use my phone when I’m changing the schedule a lot
