- Ease of use, i usually haven't an issue with software
- the software isnt the problem, when i have issues with the hardware, there is no support
- also limitations with locating specific addresses

I will be renewing in February
The tracking/Map is great tool; noticing the speed of our vehicles and where they are. The vehicle setup is easy and makes other tasks easier. Looking into the cameras and looking ahead to the contract renewal.
- Great Customer Service, contact is great
- Cost of maintaining the ELD
- Logs are difficult to deal with; on the backside
- Miss the laptop version where the operators could update logs on a laptop and not ELD

GPS Insights needs to go out of business
Consistently overcharges our business with zero solutions. Good luck reaching someone in their accounting department.

Fleet tracking done nearly right
Having moved as part of the end Rhino Fleet Tracking, we had a rocky start until all the old gps units were replaced. The new units provide more features than Rhino ever did. Overall a good improvement.
- The level of detail in reports is outstanding
- Being able to run such a wide range of options makes finding a one-off incident as easy as reviewing regular reporting
- The auto refresh of the live maps is a nice feature as well, added bonus to being able to find nearby vehicles
- Menu navigation is not exactly intuitive for the non technical staff using the system
- The absolute worst are the chat ads popping up every time I sign in
- I already pay for the service, stop pushing on the maps screen especially
- Alerts do not always work, or work at the wrong time
- Allowing the drivers to opt out of alert/violation messages is a fail

Rhino was bought out by GPS Insight, we had to move, and with the alternatives, this was the best.

All is Good with GPS Insight
From our initial setup to our current usage almost 5-years later I'm extremely satisfied with my experience with GPS Insight. For those looking for a simple, effective and intuitive GPS solution, GPS Insight will fit your needs.
- The client facing dashboard has everything I need and is easy to use
- I have had zero issues with GPS accuracy
- Even switching GPS units to new vehicles is a relatively painless process
- My only gripe is the consistent calls asking me to upgrade to video recording
- It's just not something I'm interested in
- From a product standpoint, I have no issues

2024 Overview
Overall, GPS Insight has met all of our company's needs! We were able to set up an onboarding training to introduce the product to our managers, directors and inspectors with no issues. We were also able to set up an in-depth training with a few of our managers who would be using the application more than others. The GPS Insight support team has been pretty helpful! The email responses have been slow, but the chat feature can be helpful in a pinch. Our new POC [sensitive content hidden] has been very responsive and helpful whenever there has been an issue or questions that we've needed answered. He is very friendly and super easy to work with. Excellent job!

- The report function still seems to have some glitches as I've submitted a couple tickets regarding issues with pulling reports
- (Ex: all vehicles was not populating ALL vehicles so had to go in individually to pull each report)
Switched From
Being able to add in multiple users so they are able to pull their own mileage reports was big for this switch. I also believe pricing was involved.

Sales-Good, CSR-Very Good Installation Quality- Good Installation Scheduling- Good

- Product is installed with a plug and play harness for future camera capability
- Unit is small and easily hidden
- Having to have hard reset performed to many units at our expense
- No ability to set in cab warnings without going through customer service

Helps keep our eye on our assets!
Great. We have several people using this tool and we are able to divide it into small groups so only certain people have visibility to certain things! Works great!
- I do love the GPS insight website
- I like many features like the mileage tracking, the diagnostics area
- the reporting is not as easy as the previous program we were using, Rhino

Good Value
It has been a good investment. I would like to see more vehicle operating information included in base price. Some companies offer what I talking about.

- Many alerts are available or customize your own
- Product support is very good and little or no wait
- People in support are knowledgeable and easy to work with
- The screen software is clear and customizable
- Reception is a problem in certain areas
- Installing in older class 7 & 8 trucks can be demanding
- Our new class 7&8 are easier

- It was simple to install and the online site was very basic
It was not ready for departments and cost centers it was not easy to setup the manager and location logins

Verizon was moving from 3g to 4g and they wanted us to pay for the devices
