- Forget the tedious methods of using spreadsheets and manual calculations, H2X is very efficient for both designers and reviewers
Designers would gain more value from the software if it integrated additional hydraulic systems such as sewer pits and sewer pumps

- Accurately models complex systems in an easy to use interface
- Outstanding real-person customer service
- Tracing floor plans can sometimes get a bit tricky - difficult to move a whole floor for instance if it isn't aligned to the adjacent level
- Building templates could be easier (ie I'd love to be able to set up a Victorian Semi as a template to choose when opening a new project)

"I really hate to say it, but Spruce is a nicer user experience and has cleaner looking client-facing docs but it's so closely aligned to the plumber workflow that it doesn't work for us. h2x is much better for the more complex jobs we do. Also tried Heat Engineer but that is very different - doesn't allow the layout."

H2X - Hydraulics Must Have Tool
H2X has been a great tool to improve efficiency and confidence in design and drafting for Hydraulic Services. Consistent development of the platform ensures that the software has the capability to meet demands from industry.

- Some difficulty in modelling complex pipework installations - Would like to see potential for linking of BIM model back to H2X for ongoing calculation and verification

This software provides different calculation methods and can provide all the calculation result that may be rrequired
- Sometimes it's a little bit hard to change things
- For example, if i want to increase the pipe size to minimise the friction loss, i will need to select all the pipe one by one ( they are separated by the fittings)

H2X - Well worth a look for Mechanical Services design.
Overall all very positive experience in terms of usage and output. There have been a few occasions where there has been frustration, both through the learning process of the software and when glitches have occurred.
- Straightforward (mostly), comprehensive and versatile design software that ticks a lot of boxes for the design work that we are involved in
- Off plan modelling is MUCH faster and easier than prior tools we have used
- Calculations appear accurate
- Customer support and assistance has been brilliant when things haven't gone as intended
- Occasional software glitches and hangs, but they have improved vastly recently
- Sometimes tweaking of the layout of items can be fiddly or cause unintentional movement of other components
Switched From
Simpler, smoother and more unified platform.

Great Service!!!!
So far so good and looking to continue evolving with H2X as a loyal customer. I will continue to work with H2X as a user of UFH designs and help H2X make it the best system/software it can be. I still have a lot to learn on H2X however, what I know and do with H2X so far, coincides for me to work closely with [sensitive content hidden] and others.
- Certainly the backup service and support have been key factors for me to become the best I can be on H2X
- [sensitive content hidden] had been amazing throughout my journey so far along with [sensitive content hidden]l when [sensitive content hidden] hasn't been available
- Being heavily technical on UFH myself, myself and[sensitive content hidden] have combined our experiences and grown a good rapport
- Although [sensitive content hidden] has helped me a lot more, we have worked together to conquer a lot of issues and shared thoughts, without any dictation
- I also had the pleasure of working with H2X on UFH prior to launch and it has all been a great working with both [sensitive content hidden]
- I like how technical H2X can be, but also having the option to do basic designs when you have little to no info off our clients
- I like how H2X are always evolving and H2X seem to listen to their customers/users
- A lot of the UFH issues I experience, do get raised and makes you feel part of the H2X journey
- As H2X are constantly evolving you do experience issues and some do come with frustration
- As I state though, the service is exemplary and its very rare you have to wait for resolution

Very Impressed.
I've used it to design Mechanical systems on a couple of test Housing projects and the Ventilation system for a Temporary Site office. I was amazed at the speed which I was able to complete that Ventilation design. Also, the support and customer service is fantastic. Any questions I've raised were answered in no time with demonstration videos for clarity. Shout out to [sensitive content hidden]. Thanks for all your help, tips and support over the last couple of weeks. I would definitely recommend going through the h2X university modules as well. Very information and helpful for navigating your way through the software.
- The software is very easy to use once you get the hang of the different tools and set up the projects correctly
- The heat load calculation function is particularly impressive
- Designing mechanical systems with this feels very straight forward and seamless
- It would be great if the software is able to generate schematics in similar fashion to layouts
- Also, I think the execution / application of the Annotation tool could be improved
- But not a major issue at all as the pdfs can be marked up separately

Great software
My overall experience has been very positive, I enjoy designing on the software and find that it's extremely useful for many different parts of my work.
- H2X is an efficient and accurate design software
- The team at H2X have done an excellent job of making a simple to use software for a subject that can actually be extremely complicated
- There is little to dislike about H2X
- There is a couple things I would love to suggest that I believe can make it even faster
- But as mentioned it's and excellent software

H2X - Underfloor Heating
Overall my experience has been positive. It has added a very strong, professional, classy selling point from our point of view with regards to Underfloor heating. any additional help required gets picked up on the very same day and complete support is given.
- All is liked, the more time used you become very quick at designing large projects
- The ability to create and design cover letters adds a nice touch
- the support personally from [sensitive content hidden] Design engineer shows a dedicated team, supporting with any questions
- No major cons, minor thing, a very zoomed out drawing occasionally costing time
- fixable with time spent on the tool

Brilliant Software!
Easy to use, and if I ever do have any questions or queries, the customer support team are incredibly quick to replay. Highly Recommend!
