Lawcus is a legal practice management solution that can be used by legal teams of any size. It is designed to streamline workflows and eliminate the need for outdated processes. With this solution, legal teams can access CRM features, advanced reporting, document management, client intake, trust accounting, plus more. Lawcus offers a mobile app that is compatible with iOS and Android devices. Additional features include color-coded time tracking, billing, matter centric chat, task delegation, and automated client engagement. Kanban boards and drag-and-drop features allow legal teams to visually manage matters online. With Lawcus, practices can accept online payments powered by LawPay. This solution also integrates with QuickBooks, Zapier, DropBox, Box, G-suite, and Outlook. Pricing for Lawcus is on a monthly subscription basis. Support is available via phone, email, and an online help center.

Great for managing cases and staying on-top of workloads.

I only used it for a little while during an internship but it was pretty great especially the Kanban boards showing the priorities for the ongoing cases, this was super good for keeping accountability and managing the workload effectively.

What they liked
  • Easy to use and practical, you can track everything & its great for client management
  • Never had any issues with it very practical solution
Room for improvement

I have had some bugs from time to time and It can be hard to manage documents etc, also not every feature is available without paying for it

  • The customer support, which was outstanding on every instance
  • [sensitive content hidden] has been an incredible help for our firm and myself, personally
  • Pipelines and sages with their respective workflow have been a blessing for our client management

  • The appointment scheduler does not meet expectations
  • Every day, it takes me three attempts to be able to finally log into my account
  • It would be appreciatd if we could track dow what used did each action (ex: who moved money from one account to the other, who moved a matter, who converted lead to matter, etc)

Lawcus is simple for basics

It was good at the beginning, but ultimately, we had to think if our clients, and how we could better serve them, which meant finding a new system for case management, communication, and billing.

What they liked

Lawcus is simple for basic necessities on the law firm's side, there were features that made our jobs easier, but just because it helped us, does not mean it helped out clients

Room for improvement
  • Lawucs is not mobile friendly, which meant clients could see we messaged them, but could not read the entire message
  • They could only read it, if they opened it up on a computer or laptop, and not everyone has one of those
  • This ultimately meant we had more phone calls to field
  • because we did not have an easy way to reach our clients
  • Well, we did, but it was not easy for them, It was frustrating, and they are already going through enough, they do not need technology making their life more difficult

Good case management system

Used as a case management and intake system for our firm which allowed various users to follow along and imput necessary info

Its a work flow law management software that allows for a good intake and case management set up and maintenance

There are only some of the most basic of templates to utiize and there are some add ons needed in order to implement fully
