I would recommend CASEpeer to any personal injury firm
Our firm has had a really good experience with CASEpeer. Anytime that we have needed training they have been quick to set up a time. There have been a few times where I have needed customer support, trying to do some thing out of the ordinary and they have been really quick to respond.
- We have made CASEpeer an integral part to our personal injury law practice
- It is the client file
- We also use it to track our marketing efforts, our staff productivity, and our contingency fees
- I think the only thing that was difficult about casepeer, was making sure that our entire team was all on the same page about the case stages
- That was probably more on our end than anything that case Pierre could have done differently
Switched From
Our firm used to do more practice areas and we used Clio for years. I really felt like it was set up for massive defense companies and not our small law firm. They really didn’t have a good task management process at the time. We then made the switch to PracticePanther, but it really wasn’t robust enough for our growing personal injury practice, we stayed with PracticePanther for over a year. Finally when we decided to be serious about doing only personal injury cases we took meetings from filevine, CASEpeer and other companies we fell in love with the team at CASEpeer and they were upfront about pricing from the get-go.
Why they chose it
"We really like the demo and it didn’t feel like a massive sales pitch. Do you let the product speak for itself. It took us three different phone calls and zoom meetings just to get a demo back from filevine. The other companies were good to work with, we just felt like CASEpeer was going to work really work well for our needs."

Excellent Case Management Software for Personal Injury Firms
It's an amazing case management software. I'm able to manage more cases than I would have on other case management softwares.
- It's easy to use when managing complex cases with multiple medical providers
- Also, great with Litigation and keeping track of important deadlines
- The cost tab could use some work
- I don't like the pre-selected categories and that you can't make your own or customize them

CasePeer seemed more appealing for Personal Injury Firms

CasePeer is too rigid to be a viable option
Imagine you're shopping for a home and you come upon a new construction with great curb appeal, modern amenities, and even comes fully furnished -- there's just one catch: you can't add or remove a single thing. You feel motivated to 'make it work,' but soon discover what you're really in for. Upon touring the kitchen, you notice the cupboards are brimming with tupperware, but there are no serving platters for hosting parties. Normally you'd remove some of the plastic containers and add your own dishware, but it's not possible here. When you ask the developer about it, they explain how the tupperware can be laid out and used as serving trays, and while this is technically true, it would always be a poor solution and a compromise that one shouldn't have to make. That's kind of what it's like working with CasePeer. We recently abandoned our attempt at migration after putting in several months of trying to 'make it work' and encountering the full ramifications of overly simplistic software so rigid that nothing can be changed, combined with a developer that's equally uninterested in listening to the needs of a personal injury firm. Specifically, CasePeer has no ability to handle PIP subrogation or third-party/workers' comp subrogation, its available insurance types are limited to UM, UIM, and Umbrella, and the list of case types is set in stone, overflowing with clutter that's irrelevant to most personal injury firms, while lacking in crucial PI options.
CasePeer has many good ideas for personal injury software, especially when it comes to tracking medical bills and record requests, but the software is too simplistic and too rigid in its current incarnation
- The backend of CasePeer is too simplistic and rigid
- Everything is set in stone
- Nothing can be changed
- It needs a more robust backend database married to the pleasing and useful frontend
Switched From
We ultimately abandoned our switch to CasePeer and decided to stay with Needles Neos. Even though Needles Neos may not look as pretty and could use an update to its workflows, it's fully customizable and adaptable, has a better calendar, more robust document generation, and is all-around much more powerful.

Great System!
Very satisfied with the system! Easy to use! I really don't have any complaints. When I was learning how to use the system and maximize it, I was able to look directly at the tutorial videos and they were very straightforward.
- My favorite part about this system is the document management
- You can easily connect your client folders on your computer directly to the client file on CasePeer
- It makes it so you don't have to actually go back and forth or worry about having to upload documents immediately
- I con I would note is the ability to link RingCentral texting to CasePeer
- The system will link the RingCentral fax but not texting
Why they chose it
"price wise, CasePeer beat out all of the alternative products we discussed."

CASEPEER A TIME SAVER.
Great, time-saving, and convenient. It's great that it can add medical billing so I can confirm my math.
- All the features help me navigate through the client's case with ease
- When I on a call regarding the case, I can answer questions with ease
- That all clients in the same case can not be sent documents to sign at the same time
- I would also like medical reports saved on the medical tab
Switched From
Because it was outdated, and our client database is growing

Impressed with the Simplicity
As someone who learned to use this software a few years ago (2018-2020), and just came back to work in the legal field in 2024, I'm impressed. I enjoy that it has a simple interface but really has so many tools that enhance and make certain processes in the firm easier to complete.
- Speaking as a lien negotiator- I love how easy it is to access the medical providers and settlement information with being able to customize the sidebar for how you use CP
- Not only that, I love that I can always reference the settlement tab to check the trust tab to see what funds we have received to ensure we have all that's needed to conclude our cases
- I love that it also has the letter generator tab which helps out a lot with creating reduction proposals or cover letters to request documents
I can't say I have any negatives as I haven't encountered any issues or setbacks that have affected me

Efficient and User-Friendly Case Management
Verified reviewer
- 8am CasePeer is an excellent tool for law firms looking to streamline their case management and improve daily operations
- Its intuitive design makes it easy to learn and navigate, even for new staff, and it centralizes all essential case details in one organized space
- The platform offers great value for money, strong security features, and reliable tools for tracking tasks and deadlines
- It also helps attorneys stay on top of their caseloads while ensuring nothing falls through the cracks, making workflow much smoother and more efficient
- The reporting features, although functional, lack deeper customization options, and some integrations with external accounting tools like QuickBooks can be a bit inconsistent
- Despite these minor limitations, 8am CasePeer remains a dependable and user-friendly platform that enhances productivity, improves collaboration, and provides excellent support for law firms of all sizes

CasePeer is AWESOME
I enjoy CasePeer a great deal. It is very useful; It helps me to manage my very high case load in Plaintiff work and keeps my cases and me organized. I would be lost without it!!
It does everything I need it to do (Plaintiff Work) and like any software in the legal field when it is used to its capacity it is a great tool
- Calendaring was not the best
- I believe it can be a little better as far as opening the calendar without lag of appointments, reminders and linking with Outlook

Great Program
Verified reviewer
Very easy to use, I handle property damage and everything I need to add data is on there also for diminished value demands, the settlement tab is very easy to use and to access for information
- I do not like that there are no numbers on the notifications for tasks and texts, that it's just a red dot
- I like to know how many task I need to go through without having to look it up

Great tool with room for improvement.
I like it, very user friendly. Could use a few more features however it's a great tool for case management.
- Easy to use, intuitive
- Auto generates documents that are usually a hassle to make due to how often they need to be mailed out
- Missing a few key features
- It would be great to make it easier to edit templates for documents, a more user friendly interface instead of coding on word
