What they liked
  • The UX and UI are much better than the competitors
  • Some feel very dated and on LearnWorlds the platform is very nice and modern looking
  • Also many options are available such as the mobile app to truly white label
Room for improvement
  • The cost for sure
  • The tool especially the Learning Centre option is very expensive and I have not seen many discounts
  • Not ideal for starters despite the good support if you ate price sensitive

LearnWorlds: the best bang for your buck when it comes to LMS!

As a company who sells and rents geophysical equipment, customer service and training makes puts us above the competition. We offer training workshops several times per year, that require 4 days of travel and 32-hours training. For a lot of customers, it's a time-consuming and expensive investment. We decided to implement a hybrid model, where students take the lectures online and then attend a 1-2 day field training. Having an online platform gives us new possibilities: certifications, webminars, live events, and more, allowing us to reach new customers, including public institutions, universities, research centers. Once in full swing, we will be able to provide training contents for most of the practical applications of resistivity imaging and more..

What they liked
  • LearnWorlds is a full LMS that provides all the tools to build great educational training and marketing products
  • I've been lecturer and content creator for top US universities, using platforms such as eLearning and Canvas and I have to say, with LearnWorlds you can do a lot more without the huge price tag
  • I am still on the learning curve but so far, the platform has exceeded my expectations
  • The help center is fantastic; very short reply time, the onboarding sessions helped us to launch our academy in no time
  • So far, choosing LearnWorlds has been the best decision for our project
Room for improvement
  • I don't see cinches in the armor; we need to spend time learning to do specific things, using the LW Academy and the Help Center
  • If over time, there are more short "how-to" descriptions we can find using the "Ask for Help" bot, it could save us some time implementing some solutions

graphy was a disaster when it comes to customer services. Sometimes it took 5 days to get a reply. The straw that broke the camel's back was on reply where they say that their platform was for DIY's and that they do not provide full assistance to their clients.....

Pretty much forced to use the $300 dollar tier because the lower tiers are close to useless

Pretty much forced to use the $300 dollar tier because the lower tiers are close to useless. I do not need a team of creators to have access. It would be nice if there were something in between, with AI help and better user class settings without the need access by a team of creators.

What they liked
  • During the free trial period you have all the bells and whistles and is a great product but if your not willing to go with the $300 a month plan your fighting an tough uphill battle
  • The Starter plan you could barely teach a checkers class
  • The Pro Trainer is a little better but not much
  • The AI help at anything below Learning Center is a farce and deceptive at any level below Learning Center
  • You can use the free Notebooklm to Create your own questions at the Pro Level because the AI uses the internet for questions and not your content like it does at the Learning Center level

A Superior Evolving Platform with Superior Customer Service

My overall experience with LearnWorlds has been excellent. I have never been left wanting after an exchange with the support team. I have always felt understood and have been given a solution or an alternative to accomplish what we need to do until the application evolves for the better.

What they liked
  • LearnWorlds is far more intelligently designed than other peer applications
  • The platform evolves quickly and their customer service has been spectacularly quick and thorough so there is not a lot of back and forth
Room for improvement
  • There are a couple of features missing that I wish were there, like the ability for the application to recognize when a login is being shared from separate devices
  • The lack of this feature allows a single subscriber to share their login and that means less revenues for the school

Great breadth of customization, features plus fantastic support

It's a big learning curve at the start, but it has a lot to offer. The experience has improved, and it is also engaging and even fun to work with.

What they liked
  • The amount of customization in terms of content, functions, and settings we are able to work with in order for the settings and experience to be optimal for our needs
  • It also includes many features that we have not used before, but can be of added value for us once we explore them further
  • Finally, the email support has been phenomenal - while we do try to solve much on our own with the help of the online resources (which are great), when we do get stuck the responses have been really fast
Room for improvement
  • We'd like to automate more kinds of automated emails under the 'course progress' category, triggered based on course expiration date
  • Our learners need reminders of the time they have left to finish the course e

  • "You haven't finished the second module yet, and you only have 2 months left until your course expires
  • " Or just standard reminders "Don't forget your course expires in X months
  • " We could also use a better view of course learner progress in a course, in % completion
  • For now we use the course activity matrix, but need to check row by row

LW is the BEST LMS on the market! 😊

We researched a TON of LMS solutions before arriving at LW. We are pleased with our decision. The LW platform is one of the best platforms I have used (I've built sites on most of the mainstream site builders), and LW does not disappoint. At the end of the day, it's the exceptional customer and tech support that sets them apart. I highly recommend this platform. 20 stars from Project Success Academy (PSA).

  • This is a critical piece for any LMS platform
  • As a developer and senior marketing manager, I love working with a team of tech wizards who know how to ask the right questions to dig deeper, identify the root issues, and help find a feasible solution

Room for improvement
  • This is very minor, but we would love to see some more functionality and customizations for our LW site
  • On the plus side, LW is fantastic about submitting our constant (daily to weekly) feedback to their product teams
  • LW is always launching new features, so again, this is a minor item

Join Learnworld now.

It has been great! The service is always so professional and the evolution of the tools is highly dynamic. I have scaled my plan from a beginner to a learning center in about two years. I strongly recommend it.

  • I think building social/learning communities in the platform is not so efficient

Enabling, empowering

It's been a 2-year journey for me so far. It's been enabling, empowering. Although I still have heaps to learn about the platform and its capabilities, I feel I'm. mastering now and deploying it to good effect. The documentation is the best, world class. Your support team are excellent, really excellent.

What they liked
  • LearnWorlds rolls website design, marketing, LMS and eCommerce tools into one cohesive and fully integrated package
  • Come the time to scale my operation, integration with other SAAS tools looks like it will be easy
  • Unlimited courses, and unlimited end-users makes it easy for me to grow my operation without constraint
Room for improvement
  • That step up in the pricing plan from Pro Trainer to Learning Center is quite painful
  • Being able to add instructors 5 + n would be make it easier in the early days of adoption

Best learner experience, best value for money, what more could you ask for?

Overall, we've had a very good experience with LearnWorlds. Admittedly, the enormous gain in flexibility and customizability means that more configuration and creation time is required, but this greatly enhances the learner experience and results in a much higher-quality platform.

What they liked
  • We changed our LMS to LearnWorlds because the value for money was so much better than our old solution
  • We found equivalent or even better functionality in terms of flexibility and customization
  • This gain is well worth the price we paid, which is much lower than what we were paying before, for a less satisfactory service
Room for improvement
  • The only problem we have encountered with LearnWorlds is the translation of school emails, which is not possible
  • So we found workarounds for several emails, but for the rest, we were forced to put all 4 languages with flags in them
  • We think it's a shame for an LMS that adapts to multilingualism not to offer the functionality of translating emails according to a user tag

Our old platform didn't give us enough flexibility in its creation and management, which also impacted our customers' experience. What's more, after several problems with the platform and a serious lack of responsiveness from customer support, we quickly realized that it wasn't worth the price we paid for it, especially for fewer learner licenses.

Room for improvement

There is some minor functionality missing, such as adding permissions for Discuss to instructors (currently only available to Communications roles or Administrator), more API functionality for automation, and better functionality parity with mobile and web
