Litify for Data-Driven Decisions
Our firm has gotten so much insight into our data, allowing us to make data-driven decisions not based on a "feeling" or hunch related to the business side of law.
The extensive customization capabilities, reporting and dashboards for our leadership team
- The initial implementation is a large undertaking
Switched From
Reporting and dashboard capabilities needed for our leadership team.
Why they chose it
"Familiarity with the Salesforce as an admin."

Little really helped
We used this when we were going through litigation on a project and it really helped us get the answers we needed.
- Very user friendly, easy to use
- The ai integrations were really awesome to see and I was able to get so many answers very fast
- It’s a bit on the pricier side and the user interface was a bit challenging to understand
- But overall 4 stars

Not for Litigation Use
I was actually part of the trial of it, and I found that the developers knew absolutely nothing about civil litigation. This program is geared towards presuit case management only, so the name Litify doesn't really fit at all.
- The ability to text clients on their cell phones
- Lack of discovery tracking program
- The dashboard in this program is only for pre-suit negotiation tracking
- There's no component to help with tracking the discovery process

The law firm I worked at was the company creating Litify, so it was mandatory. We switched from Aderant Client Profiles - not available in pull down list.

Great detail-oriented product
Verified reviewer
- Customizable; many data points with good ability to filter and sort
- Can be overwhelming with so many options and data points
- Visual UI might be a little more welcoming or user-friendly, especially for admin uses
Switched From
Anticipated a need for scalabilty and automation; wanted more granular data collection and analysis without so much manual work up.

Two Years and Problems Daily
We have been using Litify for two years and not one day goes by where we don't have an issue with some aspect of Litify. There was an issue when our org was created and our documents were migrated from Needles and we have spent months trying to get everything resolved so Litify will work properly. So far, that has not been accomplished. When support fixes one issue, it "breaks" something else. All they want to do now is push us to purchase LSAP to fix issues that we didn't create. I like how the reports can be completely altered to your liking. Even though you need to be trained for an extensive amount of time to code them in yourself. Cons: The fact that they tied themselves to Salesforce causes many headaches that involved an unacceptable answer of "Sorry we cannot do anything about it, because of Salesforce". The platform has too many bells and whistles which make navigation difficult. Intake section was also too complicated and slowed our process up making the calls far longer then they needed to be. If you want this platform to work well for you, you will need at least one full-time coder to make changes on a daily basis.
The Reports are nice, however, extremely difficult to create without extensive training
There are way too many steps to accomplish one simple thing and the layout does not work for our law firm - there is a lot of frustration among all users

We were having an issue with the Needles calendar syncing with Outlook. We were ASSURED that would not be an issue with Litify. It has turned out to be an even bigger issue with Litify than it was with Needles.
Why they chose it
"I was not involved in the selection or decision."

Love It! Easy to use!
it was easy and quick to learn to use. I learn how to use the software in one day with training and I love it.
- Its easy to use
- I didn't have any issues learning to use this software
- Every thing was so easy to find
- you cant look up people by their birthday
- I dont like the fact that you have to use the clients name or account number

Litify Review
Litify is a powerful, Salesforce-based legal management platform ideal for firms seeking robust case tracking and automation – but its complexity, learning curve, and occasional performance issues may deter smaller teams looking for simplicity.
Offers comprehensive case management & reporting built on Salesforce, enabling firms to centralize case data, automate tasks, and improve team communication and efficiency across offices
Steep learning curve and setup complexity, with users frequently reporting slow document handling (especially in its Docrio module), limited intuitiveness, and occasional integration issues

Highly customizable, cloud-based, and capable of automating tasks
It allows for remote access, which can boost team efficiency. Automated reminders and follow-ups save significant time
Combines legal case management with CRM, allowing for unified handling of client and workflow information
The platform is considered expensive, particularly since it's built on top of Salesforce, and it feels we are paying for a product we do not fully own
