Maintenance Connection is a multi-site, multi-industry CMMS and EAM tool that streamlines maintenance operations across industries such as agriculture, alternative energy, automotive and aerospace, chemical processing, construction, data centers, discrete manufacturing, education, energy, food and beverage, government and military, healthcare, machinery, instrumentation and appliances, medical device manufacturing, metals and mining, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and biotech, process manufacturing, telecommunications, transportation and utilities. Base functionalities of Maintenance Connection includes complete work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, asset lifecycle management, inventory and spare parts management, business process automations and notifications and real-time reporting and dashboards. The tool can be deployed in the cloud (SaaS) or on-premise and can be accessed from any modern browser, on any modern device (desktop/laptop or smartphone/tablet).

Great user friendly product!

Uptime on equipment has improved, we are able to track the work and expense on our assets better to make more informed decisions on whether to upgrade or replace certain items. When I went to analyze the business needs and searched for a vendor to partner with to help with our maintenance tracking needs, Maintenance Connection was their from the beginning and still to this day help with any needs that we may need, our rep even just checks in to see how things are going and if we need anything. This kind of customer service is dwindling

Glad we moved to Maintenance Connection!

We switched programs to Maintenance Connect & it was a very good move for us. It is so much easier to work in and customize.

What they liked
  • It's very easy to use
  • We are able to do a lot of customization for our project
  • With a little traing, our techs like it as well

  • Difficulty to auto assign PMs to techs
  • Reports & rules are sql based & i wish i had received more training in them

It was being discontinued, difficult to use & thier replacement cmms program was not as user friendly as M.C.

The CMMS that can do it all and continues to grow

I have been using MC for 12 years and I have enjoyed using this software. I have looked at other software and I always compare it to MC and it never comes close to what MC can offer.

What they liked

I like the ability to track a lot of information in multiple modules, that each module connects to one another, and the customization that you can do as an admin

Room for improvement

I wish some modules were more robust; I wish the procedure tasks were easier to use; I wish there were a better chat feature available for techs; and I would like to see more ideas from users be implemented

Preventive Maintenance headache

Overall, it's a great solution for multiple plants.

  • The fluid way to maintain and organize work orders and assets is amazing

  • The steps to design and implement Preventive Maintenance appear to be very cumbersome
  • The steps seemingly need to be done in reverse, but it may be my team needs more training on the process (another subject)

Great optimization of maintenance response and time management

Overall, very pleasurable experience coming from an antiquated system focused on paper for the most part. I highly recommend anyone looking to better organize and track workorders from a maintenance standpoint.

mc at its core

upon using mc on a daily basis, i still have issues navigating some of the menus

What they liked
  • the ability to run detailed data reports is a great feature that i utilize daily
  • i have used jde and sap in the past and there is a little learning curve with them all
  • the ease of use for the smart reports is probably one of the better features
Room for improvement
  • having only 1 window open per license
  • maintenance connection needs to be dependent on either ip address, mac address, or network user
  • having to occupy multiple licenses to have multiple instances open is very inconvenient and not very cost effective
