Phorest Benefits our Salon
It has been a very good salon management system for our salons. Continued improvement with upgrades and enhancements have made the system easier to use.
- All the features it has
- The ease of the scheduling platform has made keeping appointments accurate a breeze
- The phone app makes it simple for each staff to keep up with their book
- Support to add POS system to existing account
- Information has been requested on at least 2 occasions without a response

Amazing platform!
My overall experience has been great! The customer service is great. If I ever have a problem and need troubleshooting help, it's always available.
- Phorest has all the tools you need to build a successful business
- It's way more advanced than all other platforms I've used
- I do wish Phorest was a bit more affordable for smaller businesses
- I don't mind paying for a platform the is advanced but $300/month seems a bit steep for a solo aesthetician

Vagaro makes it seem affordable however if you need more advanced settings, you are charged $25/ add on.

Poor customer care
As of 2019 my experience is horrific. There is nothing I like about this software anymore. I would rather go back to salon iris. I just wish they were cloud base.

- I can’t wait to leave as I have tried to communicate with their teams for months but still nothing has gotten better
- Software doesn’t have you tube tutorials to help problem solve many features are not easy to find or use
- When a client is a no show and you collect the deposit it goes to your billing and not to your bank account
- That’s just ridiculous

Overall I would still highly recommend Phorest to other salon and spa's. They're always coming out with new ideas and features. So quick to respond and help out with questions and concerns we need.
- user friendly, easy access on mobile devices, many useful reports to use
- easy inventory counts and ordering process
- Ad's manager is such a great set it and forget tool to use along with the marketing emails
- there is no return inventory besides the returns report
- the drag and drop is a bit laggy and tends to be harder to see where things are getting moved to
- some reports are a bit confusing, like the retention report
- when you archive a guest, they still have the availability to book, but wont show on the appointment screen until you unarchive them

One of the best Spa management software.
I am happy with Phorest, there are still need of few specific features (for instance billing to customer for taking payment through a link , and some promotional features that I would defintely want part of it, hopefully it will be developed by their team in near future. Overall i am satisfied with customer services and ease of using phorest.
- I been in spa business for more than 15 years, we are unique so have unique challenges, I moved to Phorest almost 7 years ago, i have used several management softwares, and tested many other platfrom before deciding on phorest
- I will say phorest in features is one of the best software out there
- I love appointment managemetn system, scheudling, and tons of other features that you cannot find in other spa management softwares, Phorest has done incredible job understanding need of spas and setting up everything in convenient way
- Pricing wise its on much higher side, I hope Phorest will consider pricing structure making it much more affordable
I am not happy with high pricing, I personally feel phorest can revise pricing making it more affordable

The best program we've used in 20 years.
A very positive and consistent experience. We can't really imagine switching to something else at this point, as it keeps growing and Phorest keeps adding more updates that benefit everyone.
- It has almost every feature we need and being able to actually utilize the features is simple
- Their customer support is generally very prompt with a consistent resolution
- I love being able to know and talk to real people
- Love being a part of their beta programs to give feedback on what they're innovating, it feels like a partnership because they truly care about the user experience and make adjustments when needed
- Going from salon biz where Aveda plus was integrated, we'd love to see integration in the future but it was certainly not a dealbreaker
- It's held our desk staff accountable, and we see so many MORE enrollments without the integration
- Can't imagine the success we'd have if we did have it though

Amazing personalize support
Overall, our service and support has been outstanding with Phorest. For someone who is not tech savvy having the ability to quickly jump on a call and navigate the site with a Phorest employee has been very helpful.
We are a salon company with 5 locations and navigating Phorest can sometimes be overwhelming, the ability to receive personalize support in a timely manner is a game changer
When looking back at our old booking system, we did have the ability to see retail history with guests differently for our Service Providers

Wonderful!
Overall, it has been great service by the Phorest team, you guys truly have great staff. Also, the online booking site is easy to use for clients.
- The customer support is always great and they are easy to reach

- The ads service alone is $100 a month plus an additional payment for the ads itself is a bit of a stretch for us

A Good Review
Any partnership will have their ups and downs but Phorest is a company with a lot of integrity so we know we can trust our partnership with them.
- I like the ease of use and the constant pace of updates
- It is usually easier for us to handle smaller improvements rather than one update that changes everything at once
- The online store needs to be more user friendly, from both a consumer and salon perspective
- An improvement to this would entice us to add it to our services
