Youth Soccer

The customer service is the clincher for us. If there is a problem, we can get help almost immediately. Including getting a person on the phone or on a screenshare to figure out how to get something done. Thier reporting is somewhat customizable so that you can get the information that you need very easily.

What they liked
  • The efficiency
  • We can set up a registration and the system does everything from there
  • We very rarely have to chase anyone for payment anymore
  • Camps are marketed directly to our members that are eligible
  • Field closures are instantly updated on the player and family's app
  • It's communication capabilities are seamless
Room for improvement
  • There have been hiccups in set-up, but the playmetrics team was quick to respond to help us stay on course
  • They are very proactive and supportive for both admin and our players
  • We have moved our entire club over as of June and I get no questions from our membership about thier accounts anymore

Customer service. Their customer service tanked after [SENSITIVE CONTENT] sold them. We lost our rep and getting answers to questions, setting up events and required porting became impossible or very difficult.

For me, Playmetrics is more than an app; Its standout live call feature shows true dedication to customer service, placing it leagues ahead of others that restrict their customer support to only emails.

This is not something I dislike however I would like to see more of the ongoing feedback options where we have a voice for input on features, kind of like a focus group of loyal customers that want to provide ideas from our perspective to improve the app

They never take a phone call, all they want to do is bots and email. You can't solve everything like that. It's unbelievable that a company that big doesn't want to address their paying customers on a phone call or zoom call.

Milwaukee Kickers Review

My overall experience has been fantastic. It's hard to believe that an operating system can replace 3-4 systems we had to use in the past. It truly is an all-in-1 system that is easy to navigate and maneuver.

What they liked
  • This software is constantly developing to fit the needs of its users
  • The developers and success team listen to your concerns and actively look to adjust them in the system to fit your needs
  • I've never had experience with a support team and development team who truly listen and look to accommodate your club needs
Room for improvement
  • What I like least in the software is difficult because it is constantly being adjusted because of the developers ability to listen and fix problems for its users
  • At the current moment, I would like to see staff roles be more customizable

By Far the Best Club Management Solution

We have been incredibly happy with PlayMetrics and have had an excellent experience, from the sales process through deployment. The staff is beyond helpful, knows the product inside and out, and timely in their communication.

  • Finally, a single platform to communicate EVERYTHING to my team members and the Club
  • Every bit of Club contact information I could want is easily accessible, and the calendar provides me a single place to populate ALL of our seasonal year events and get accurate availability count for attendance
  • I was even able to help guide parents to their current balance if they had questions, and help facilitate payment back to the Club - not bad for a soccer coach
  • Email, alerts, chat - you've got it all
  • Believe me, you'll use them all too
  • Running short of time and need a quick training topic
  • No problem
  • Dive deeper into the Drills section and see what your Technical Staff and other coaches may have already created and shared
  • Having the ability to create custom training sessions and upload them into a custom library is fantastic
  • I needed coverage for a weekend's worth of games, and created a simple roster with substitution patterns for those specific events
  • Then, I simply added my Technical Director as a Guest Coach for the weekend, and he was able to run with the group no problem
  • No lengthy phone call required, or an exhaustive note-taking session in advance
  • Everything was right there at his fingertips
  • So, the question really is: Why Aren't You Using PlayMetrics
  • #SaveaClub
Room for improvement
  • Mobile app didn't always display the entire roster and availability, but only if you had more than 14 players or so
  • This may have been related to my antiquated Galaxy S8, but still something I would have liked to be able to have available so I could see if players at the bottom end of the alphabet were coming to training or not

Couldn't imagine going back to the old way

It's made my job a breeze and because of the time savings it has created it allows me to focus on other things at the club. Our club is in a small town in Georgia but we have a big recreation program to manage as well as our competitive side. We used to operate them with different systems which would cause huge headaches. As PlayMetrics includes everything a rec program needs as well as everything a competitive program needs it has been a huuuuuge game changer for us!

Housing and accessing all our information in an easy use and visually simplistic design eliminated the overwhelming sensation you have when using other sport registration software.

  • Once that process was understood, execution was quite simple
