Pricey But Well Worth It
I do AIA billing for several different clients that use Procore and am completely satisfied with everything that I have used. I have worked with Procore for over eight years.
- I really liked that it is extremely user-friendly with a short learning curve
- There are also video instructions to help with any questions so you don't have to wait for someone to help you
- It is a little pricey, but if you have enough clients, it is well worth the extra cost
- There are other alternatives, but if you can afford it, I don't think there is another product out there that can match it
Why they chose it
"Procore was chosen due to its user-friendliness and ability to track multiple projects."

Versatile and customizable yet still easy to use
We've had a very positive experience with Procore. The support can be reached almost immediately using the chat and they know their stuff. The training videos are comprehensive and set up our new employees for success when using Procore.
- Everyone associated with our projects (owners, design team, subcontractors, and our team) has easily accessible access to the project information at any time from anywhere
- The system is highly customizable while still being easy to use for the end users
- The ability to apply granular permissions when we need someone to have a little more access than others is something I don't see often
- I've always wished we could create reports ourselves and they just debuted this feature
- So, nothing that I can think of right now
Switched From
To be able to collaborate with owners and subcontractors in regards to RFIs, Submittals, Drawings, and Documents. The ability to do Daily Logs with an app instead of on paper.

Procore Review 2.0
Since my last review our company has introduced tablets in the field so our installers have one and they are able to view Procore from the tablet rather than having to print paper and that has been a huge help.
- I like that the system generates the pay application for you once you setup the SOV one time and automatically updates the previously billed value on each pay app
- This saves my AR person a lot of time during the billing process
- What I like least is the way the system works in regard to giving people access to the project in their Procore account
- I believe each person has to be invited to each project individually but I wish that if one person from our company was invited it would automatically give access to everyone else with a Procore account at our company automatically rather than having to stop and get the GC to invite more people
- I also still wish there was a digital notary option for signing pay apps as well as a digital option for the signature being notarized

Procore is THE WORST!
Terrible. Could not be any worse. I actively avoid using Procore and it's use on a project will keep me from quoting that project.
- There is nothing I like about Procore
- I would rather that contractors use ANY OTHER project management software
- Why would anyone pay to use this awful wsite
- So many things wrong with Procore
- It makes me change my password too often - every 3 months
- Why
- Is someone going to steal my password and log on to do my work for me
- It's not a financial site and it does not need a new password
- Also, when I do manage to log on (always a huge chore) the interface is completely non-intuitive
- It's very difficult to find what I need
- Why pull downs with topics that make no sense
- Why is it so many steps to get to newly released drawings
- I cannot figure out why so many people use this site for project management
- It must be way cheaper than the competition
- Companies that pay for Procore please take note - using Procore for your projects makes me less likely to quote those projects
Why they chose it
"I did not - I am forced to use it by other companies."

Incredible Package for GCs
We still use ProCore for project management, but not for estimating. It's a great package overall, but the cost justification was just too great.
- Procore is a very comprehensive construction management package
- It has it all - project management, document management and a fantastic estimating toolbox
- The price - Procore is by far, the most expensive solution that we reviewed
- While it more than ticked the tickboxes in terms of functionality, the value for money just wasn't there and ultimately, we went with another solution
Why they chose it
"We still use Procore for project management, but we don't use it for estimating purposes."

Procore Review
Not bad. Not as good as ACC. Financial management needs to improve. I think the PCO step and Change Event step are redundant and one should be eliminated which would make the system a lot more efficient on user level.
- I like the submittal and RFI features in Procore
- It's really easy to sort quickly which is helpful walking on the jobsite
- Financial management is convoluted and requires too many steps
- If a user has to edit an older change order for some reason, all subsequent change order statuses need to be edited which is a big waste of productive time

Comprehensive construction management tool - with a steep learning curve
Overall, Procore has been an essential tool in managing construction projects (contracts, in my case) more efficiently. It consolidates all aspects of project management into one platform, which reduces miscommunication and keeps everyone on the same page. The robust features and mobile access are huge benefits, although it does take some time to learn all its functions.
- Its comprehensive project management capabilities for construction
- The platform centralizes communication, document management, and scheduling, making it easy to collaborate across teams
- The mobile app is especially helpful for accessing real-time updates and tracking project progress on-site
- Procore’s ability to manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders in one place has improved our workflow efficiency
- What I like least is that it can be a bit overwhelming for new users
- Some functions require multiple steps, and the system can feel slow at times
- Additionally, the cost is higher compared to other tools, which may be a drawback for smaller projects
Switched From
Because Procore offers more specialized features for construction project management. While Monday.com was great for general task tracking, Procore’s tools for managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders are specifically designed to streamline construction workflows. Its mobile access and real-time updates are also critical for on-site work, which Monday.com didn't fully support.

The bees-knees of construction management software
Verified reviewer
Great piece of software that works really work and has some superb features such as a drawing storage tool that keeps all revsions and updates automatically as soon as a new one is uploaded
Maybe a bit too good and have too many features for a smaller company like ours - apparently it is also very costly

Overall, positive. I have used the platform with multiple different companies and projects. Was successful with each project, and it was easy to set up an account once you get the invite for the project.
- It is easy to use, and the layout of the browser is user friendly
- Mobile app is also very helpful when away from the computer for quick access
- It is a large platform, so there are also many areas you can explore
- It mainly depends on the end user uploading the data, as long as it is put in the correct place
