An excellent tool for resource management
Resource Guru has helped my team to go beyond ordinary workflow and project management, and efficiently manage projects, saving time and efforts. It is a value for money product.
- It is a great resource management tool, with a user-friendly interface, It has a lot of powerful tools and is easy to learn and use
- A big positive of this software is its capability to easily integrate with other tools
- It helps to easily and remotely track and manage modules, projects and even workflows
- A few times, connectivity issues are being encountered while remote access
- Also, customer support can be enhanced

Best KB Around
It has been very, very, very helpful with my business. We use it on a daily basis - multiple times a day. We are constantly updating our knowledge base and Guru has made this so easy.
- Guru is amazing
- The amount of knowledge you can pour into it and organize is insane
- It is so easy to use
- It is also so easy to collaborate on knowledge base cards with team members
- We have yet to run into any bugs or issues
- The customization is key here, because you can set it up however you want
- Very helpful
Support does not always get back to us in a very timely manner, but when they do, they are awesome at it

The only issue I had with Resource Guru was when a co-worker scheduled something and it needed to be changed, but she wasn't working

An adequate calendaring tool for resource management
We use Resource Guru to manage the utilization/booking of our research facilities. This works well for us as we have a small number of facilities we manage. I cannot offer a recommendation for/against this project for large numbers of resources (>10) as it might be cumbersome at that point. For our limited resource pool, it works well.
- The interface is simple to use and understand with respect to resource availability and conflict
- It serves its purpose well
- New feature rollout is buggy
- When I switched between the "beta" ("new") experience back to the classic, I received a nagging email from the company telling me I had recently logged in using the "classic" experience and it would eventually be discontinued, and that I should try out the "new" experience
- This product is basically a shared calendar, and while it offers reporting that is a hybrid somewhere between Microsoft Outlook and Project, it's a bit too pushy with respect to new features

Easy to use
Like when I need to find something and it’s so fast to pull up and check my schedule for that day past and and future jobs

- And it’s there and fast
- Love the layout , very detail but yet very basic

- Really nothing bad I can say about it the more you play with it the easier it is to use

First month using Resource Guru
It has been a very good experience, and so far one of the best software we've tried out on resources management on our company
- The graphics and visual interface
- It is very easy to manage resources availability and billability rates, also quite like how easy it is to book and re-book events
- Reports on projects (how many hours sold versus booked)

Easy and efficient resource allocation
Easy to use with a splendid overview. The team managers are adapting to it well, so having two layers of management and the ability to track all layers is perfect.
- I like that it doesn't try to be anything else than resource allocation, and that it does this very well
- In a department with 25 people plus some 'machines', we manage to keep track on our activities very well, and distribute the load in time and across the resources as needed
- I find it very intuitive, both for the user who can view the bookings, and for the manager who tries to keep track on everything
- As stated above, many tools try to embrace project management, time registration, etc
- - but we are really interested in the resource allocation only
- If I should mention anything, it would be the request for slightly more flexible reporting options
- However, the people behind Resource Guru are very responsive, so they will probably fix it before I am done with the review

Wrike was too complex, so that we didn't use the full benefits of combined resource allocation, project management and time registration

Excellent Product for Multiple Staff and Multiple Projects
The tool and support has been a great experience. I have recommended this tool to all my colleagues inside my organization and outside. I have been using it for 11 months now and it has been working extremely well.
- The app is very user friendly and a majority of my staff are able to login and run Resource Guru without any issues
- It is a streamline software for project management across multiple projects and departments

Definitely Recommend
Overall, I would recommend this as a simple and useful scheduling tool. It gives an overview of different elements of what requires scheduling depending on needs. It is modern.
Simple to use Visually appealing Can have multiple views to filter for simplicity Can capture all required information
When uploading an image, it can get cut off which required playing around with cropping the image for the perfect fit
