Great Sales Enablement and CMS Platform
We needed the ability to incorporate a workflow process for our content creation team and personalize content at the account level without forcing users to individually re-create each sales piece.
- We anticipate getting a lot of use out of the "LiveDoc" capabilities for our ABM efforts in the coming years
- We also anticipate that Seismic will eventually replace Microsoft OneDrive entirely as our document repository and Sharepoint as our corporate intranet
- It would be nice if content could be displayed and/or shared externally
- Seismic's entire pricing model is predicated on each consumer of content not specifically sent something through the system itself having a license

All-In-One Information, Content, and Knowledge Base
Seismic is like the Swiss Army Knife of LCMS tools for sales enablement. We are getting information distributed to as many people as possible as efficiently as possible, with control over who can see what. The LiveSend features make customer interactions much more straightforward while also adding helpful analytics to deals. It's effortless to find the information you need if you know that everything "lives" in Seismic.
- Fantastic tool
- Seismic's multi-layered architecture is what makes it so awesome
- It manages documents and allows you to create a simple website creation to collect & present data, and has interactive features to connect with clients
- As far as information centers and content management tools go, you can't do much better than Seismic
- Some enterprises may be able to run all their systems on the Seismic platform alone
- I strongly recommend Seismic to any sales enablement organization
I only have minor quibbles: The Micro-App functionality is still somewhat limited, and the search engine could use a tad more fine-tuning

Seismic Software Gets Green Light

- The ability to conduct LiveSends of assets directly from within Seismic and not having to download and then include as an attachment in Outlook or other email product
- The bonus of being able to track what a recipient views and how long they looked at the content or if they forwarded to someone else is a game changer
- This gives Sales and Success a one-up on knowing what a recipient is interested in
- The ability to create LiveDocs
- The product does not have the ability to house RFP questions and answers in a database format
- We needed the ability for a Sales rep to pull together a quick RFP using a LiveDoc RFP Template to pick and choose what Q&A's they wanted to pull in by product
- It does not accommodate
- Also, having to maintain an Excel document of hundreds of Q&A's and upload weekly, is less than desirable and clunky

Implementation failed, Seismic refused any accommodation, charged 2 years of license fees to cancel
Our experience was the classic "over-promise during sales" and "under-deliver on execution." We had to scrap the implementation after a year. We had been forced to sign a 3-year contract upfront (bad sign!!), and then Seismic refused any accommodation and didn't take any responsibility for the failure. They charged us 2 years of license fees to cancel the 3-year contract. This was especially offensive after they had billed us every hour of support time for the implementation on top of the license fees. This was a major lesson learned - don't ever pay in full upfront and don't work with companies who use glitzy, high-pressure sales approaches.
- The promise of Seismic was good: Allow us to solve our content management challenge and automate our proposal generation
- It didn't work though
Seismic turned out to be too complex and cumbersome for our team to implement effectively, and it became clear that the software would not actually help solve our content management problem

Sales Enablement Made Easy
We have had an overall great experience with Seismic. We have bi-weekly calls with our customer success manager who helps us understand different features and answer any questions.
- Seismic makes it easy for B2B Sales employees to review internal and external content for buyers, during all stages of the buying/selling process
- Seismic is able to store documents, videos, create pages, and target many business units at once
- If there was one thing I could change about Seismic it would be the ability to better track usage and logins
- This would make it so we could drive adoption to business units that do not use the tool

Friendly, Helpful Staff; Ultimately Not the Right Tool For Our Business Use Case
We're a small proposals team that is part of a larger sales operations team. We use Seismic to general product-specific proposals for our salespeople to present to customers as part of our larger response to customer RFPs. My understanding is that there is much more functionality available in Seismic, but all we need it for is proposal generation.
- The Seismic staff we worked with were always friendly and helpful
- It has been very difficult for us to edit/update the LiveDoc content, and being able to do that is essential to our work
- Seismic is in the process of finding a solution for us, but they haven't delivered one yet

SAVO was bought out by Seismic. My understanding is that our version of SAVO was reaching end-of-life, but I wasn't part of the team that decided to move to Seismic.

Integrating Seismic with our marketing efforts has enabled us to keep track of all customer journeys. Seismic’s data has enabled us to better sort customers, and prepare new targeted campaigns that fit their needs.
- I liked the simplicity of Seismic, it provides a colorful display of data and graphs
- Seismic’s detailed breakdown of the content and achievements of each marketing channel independently is great, it allows us to learn a lot and keep comparing between channels and understand the differences better
- I liked how Seismic allows us to delve deeper into the details of any marketing channel to know the actual conversion volume, and extract comprehensive data that shows how successful or unsuccessful it is in motivating customers
- I liked Seismic LiveDocs, which is very special for automating reporting and collaboration

Seismic for business insights!
Overall, I would highly recommend Seismic for business insights. The application makes finding internal documents and workspaces easy and user friendly
- Seismic is very user friendly and make navigating business documents a breeze
- I can find all of my educational materials in one convenient space
- The application is also easy to customize/
The only con of Seismic that I can find is that sometimes it can be difficult to navigate the dashboards

Seismic for Business review
I think it’s been a great tool to use overall. I use it at least weekly to find documents that have been used in the past to inform new versions of similar letters.
- Seismic is a great tool to organize documents based on whatever factors work best for you
- It also is a great way to share documents across departments and even external partners
- Sometimes the interface can look a little cluttered once you get enough documents in there
- You can organize pretty well, but it’s still just a bunch of folders and documents adamant a white background
- Can be overwhelming sometimes

A great document management platform
I’ve used Seismic as part of our my engagement with a vendor at work. It’s very user friendly and allows searching and collating documents very easy. The repository itself is efficient and fast to index as well as nimble to locate related documentation.
- Very easy to navigate and find the relevant documents
- The indexing works well and is very convenient to group together the documents
- The interface can be a bit more modern and crisp - that’s just a nitpick
