Efficient online learning platform
TalentLMS is an online learning platform that we use for the training and development of our sales team. It provides detailed analytics tools that allow us to monitor the progress of sales representatives, identify areas for improvement, and measure the impact of training on the overall performance of the team.
- TalentLMS allows the creation of structured onboarding programs for new sales representatives
- Courses can be designed on sales techniques, handling objections, negotiation, prospecting, and closing deals
- The platform supports multimedia content, such as videos, presentations, and interactive quizzes
- It also features a mobile app that enables salespeople to access training courses and materials from any device
- I have no objections or negative aspects to highlight about this platform

Great End-User Platform; Needs Better Reports for ROI
Overall, the platform is well received and useful. I would like to see better reports that show TRUE usage per month, not data that is lumped together with total usage since "the beginning of time". I struggle each month to put together reports for executives that want to see ROI and usage such as number of new, unique users logging in, number of courses enrolled and completed per month, etc. The "total training time" is a myth as well, as some users are somehow calculating in the hundreds of hours for completing a 20-minute video. So when I try to use a report showing "total training time", it is seriously skewed and we cannot get an accurate picture of their true training time. Again, this should be an easy thing to do (Talent Devs), so please fix this!
- I enjoy the ease-of-use and speed at which we were able to get up and running with our training program, especially with different users in different areas, time zones, etc
- Many of our users have said that it is easy to navigate and I've received little if any complaints about how to use the system
- The customer support is great, as they always have someone there to answer questions
- Overall value compared to other competitors is top notch
- I'd like an easier way to build in more areas for customized design, fitting in more logo space (this is SOOOO frustrating
- ), etc
- , with a broader color pallet to match company colors
- Also, the biggest bug for me: It would be nice to have more robust data reports, especially looking at usage BY MONTH, such as unique users, new course enrollments, completions by month, etc
- This should be a very easy feature to add, but sadly the reporting has caused some execs to want to pull the plug on Talent

"It had the best features needed at the time when we needed to get up-and-running quickly; also, the price was right for the budget as we launched and scaled up. Other products were very expensive, with long contracts, and had bulky learning curves that would have delayed the launch of our training programs."

TalentLMS for online courses.
I have found it very beneficial for the particular course that I have designed.
- TalentLMS is very easy for the instructor to design courses and to track the progress of the learner
- The features such as quizzes and assignments are excellent
- Courses can me made very interactive
- Learners have told me that they find it difficult to download videos
- Also I feel that it would be better to have to pay a commission per user as it can be very expensive if there are not enough learners

Long term happy customer
We have been TalentLMS users since 2018 and every year the product keeps getting better. The functionality and customer service have improved greatly since then.
- My recent experiences with the Help Desk have been great - they are quick to respond and will help work through an issue until is it solved
- The new AI feature to create courses is pretty impressive - still needs work but it's definitely improving our courses
- The functionality of the emerchant does not allow an external client to place one order for multiple participants or courses
- This means we have to do manual signups

Overall, a good experience
Overall, quite good. We've been using it for a few years now. It's good that they continue to update the platform and offer training on how to use new features.
- I appreciate being able to create separate training environments through branches
- There are also quite a few options to design courses within TalentLMS, especially with the addition of AI-integrated services like TalentCraft
- There are quite a few glitches with the new interface and it is taking quite a lot of time to get them sorted out from TalentLMS's side
- The mobile app also desperately needs an update

Moodle did not meet our needs. It had no support for us as administrators, a poor learner experience, and was more aimed at academic use vs us as a non-profit.

I'd highly recommend TalentLMS!
The experience of moving to TalentLMS was great. Even with my plus package, which doesn't come with an assigned sales rep, the customer support has been very efficient and helpful. All the features work as expected within the platform and my users love their experience as well. Our company loves the app and browser options, as well as having branches to create other learning environments. Even without automation, the notifications are very useful and pretty much automated themselves. You cannot beat the features and functionality of this product for the price with other LMS products. I love it.
- I love how easy it is to use
- I pair it with Articulate360, and the ability to add SCORM files and create additional lessons in a course is awesome
- I didn't have this feature available in other LMS platforms I used in the past
- It was either a SCORM course with no additives, or purely made in their authoring tool which lacked features
- TalentLMS has integrated SCORM packages into their course authoring tool as well as provided great authoring features in their own product
- There isn't much, but I would like it better if some of the features were not tucked behind some of the more expensive pay structures
- For example, having AI assistance and automation locked behind the highest tier
Switched From
Learning360 was much more expensive than TalentLMS. Learning360 boasts most about its social learning. It was a great product for that, but we simply don't use that and so we didn't want to pay for all the bells and whistles when TalentLMS does everything we need it to do for a fraction of the price.

"Price and features. We didn't need a robust system that also had an authoring tool. In fact, we like having a separate authoring tool. I believe TalentLMS has focused mostly on its LMS platform features, while sprinkling in some great authoring tool features, they keep the main focus the main focus: Delivering a great LMS product."

Fantastic platform for a great price!
I thoroughly enjoy our Talent LMS Account Manager. He is always pleasant to work with and willing to help. He is quick to respond to any questions me or my team have about the platform. Again, I really enjoy how user friendly the platform is. I also like how, when using the new interface, you can create courses with AI.
- The ease of use for the admin, learner and instructor

- The courses are very basic
- For example, I work for a tech company that integrates AI across our products
- For non-technical roles, it'd be nice to have a deeper dive into AI and what it is
- There is a basic intro to AI course but nothing past that
- I wish the reporting was more specific
- The reporting isn't terrible, but there is definitely room for improvement

Udemy was far too expensive for our level of usage. The courses available for one topic were incredibly overwhelming which led to the platform not being used.

It's been a thoroughly gratifying learning experience with TalentLMS. Some courses inspired me with fresh ideas for content designing & facilitation, while others helped me look at newer perspectives.

Good LMS for our company
I love it. It is familiar, easy to use and our clients and other users like it.
- I love how customizable it is and how easy it is to navigate

It was not the right tool for our company. It was also slow, clunky and buggy. It was native in Salesforce, but as a result, it lacked a lot of utilities that other LMS have.
