1Password is fast, secure, and reliable
We use a family plan, which is great because we each have our own vault but we also have several vaults we share with each other and with our adult children.
- It's worry free
- I select a category -- login, credit card, bank, driver's license, and many more -- and enter the data
- From that moment on, the data is stored securely and is available on my PC and my phone
- Occasionally, 1Password doesn't recognize an app on my phone when I need to log in
- However, that's not a big deal because it just take a few extra swipes to activate it and copy the required password

Held out for a long time but glad I switched
My experience with 1Password has been incredible compared to the manual management & sync methods I have been using for years now. Happy with the app availability, service, and usability across the board.
Easy interface, browser plugins, and quick-access functionality make switching to 1Password easy and sticking with 1Password a no-brainer
Importing things from KeepassXC, which has an entry in their guide, does not automatically identify folders as tags, which seems dumb to me, but maybe I rushed the import or something
Switched From
KeepassXC requires you to manage your vault on your own, so for multi-device use it is untenable and creates many synchronization/versioning issues.

Synchronized sharing of client credentials between client applications.
Credentials remained centralized by client, handoffs more serene, and offboarding also aligned to groups and SSO, so access updates no longer hindered campaign activities.
Shared vaults and group controls hold client credentials by account, while autofill and SSO pairing minimize friction in logins between ad tools and partner dashboards
SCIM and role mapping need to be done with care, and admin views become cluttered while setting up massive access for client‑specific contractor contractors and client‑dedicated safes

Fantastic password manager
The product has been excellent for our team. I can add and remove people as needed, replacing staff doesn't affect the license count, and it can be used on a variety of OSes.
It is very easy to use, has very good security features and the cost is favourable
- It can be a little clunk when navigating through to edit an entry

Best Independent Password Manager
Excellent company. Fully engaged leadership. They understand their customers and their role. I love the fact this thing works and I love that 1Password is helping me stay current with both operational user security issues as well as new trends. I am betting a lot on any password or security management company - I have confidence in this team. They are good. They get that their daily job is that this has to work and be secure daily - everything else is frosting on the cake.
- High level of integrity and security Ease of Use Group Functionality
- I don't have any dislikes about the product
- I use it multiple times a day and it works
- Working is everything
- Added feature bloat is a distraction not present in 1Password

Invaluable for Teams
Verified reviewer
- The user interface is extremely intuitive
- Plus, the whole system just works smoothly (sharing passwords with groups of people who all have access; creating 2FA codes; creating & sharing passkeys; security)
The app is so secure that it can be a little confusing how to set up a new device, but 1Password makes it so simple with their "Emergency Kit" and step-by-step instructions that it's really not an issue
Switched From
I wanted a simple way to share passwords securely with others on my team.
Why they chose it
"1Password was the most user-friendly, and it was simultaneously competitive in price. It was an easy decision. I was also really impressed by the level of detail around keeping the platform highly secure. This page was really insightful: https://1password.com/security/"

Suitable Replacement for LastPass
I have adapted well to 1Password, and I believe that anyone who uses LastPass can easily train themselves to use 1Password.
- It has a familiar and easy to understand user interface
- It performs as designed most of the time, and working around the automated functionality when it doesn't work is easy because anything can be confidentially copied out of 1Password and into the clipboard to paste wherever you need it
- My impression is that 90% of the time 1Password works as intended, and the rest of the time I can work around with copy and paste
- When importing from LastPass, it did not bring in attached items
- It would be great if that import function could be fixed, although I don't need it now, I suppose
Switched From
Data breach at LastPass eroded my confidence in LastPass, and the stewardship of the parent company.
Why they chose it
"Family members favored 1Password because of greater ease of use and the ability to create family groupings for our vaults."
