Solid Performance for Everyday PDF Use
Overall, Adobe Acrobat Reader is a dependable tool for viewing and reviewing PDFs. While it’s not as feature-rich in its free version, it remains the industry standard and is easy to use for day-to-day document access and annotations.
- Features like bookmarks, zoom, and page thumbnails make large documents easier to manage
- It opens PDF files quickly and accurately without formatting issues
- The core functionality (viewing, printing, basic markup) is accessible without a subscription
- Editing, converting, or signing PDFs often requires upgrading to Acrobat Pro
- The interface includes many options that aren't usable unless you subscribe

Fabulous Application for Editing Documents
Fantastic. As a daily user, I love this application. It has made my life way easier and work output stronger.
- The versatility of the application while editing documents
- A huge perk is the automated font match when editing 3rd party files, which saves an extreme amount of time
I find that the application glitches, especially when you are working with multiple documents at once

We used to use Microsoft to edit our documents, however Adobe offers way more functions and versatility, that allows us to produce a higher output of work.

That it is free, We have this installed across almost all devices in our fleet, from computers to mobile phones, it allows our staff to read and sign PDFs with ease and it works with many of our other vendors Saas products so that they open straight into Adobe
Honestly don't have anything negative about it, it was easy to push out, update and very very rarely have any issues

Acrobat and ME
I have been using Acrobat Reader for several years and it does the job it is meant to do. Open PDF's, Sign PDF's with ease of use.
- I like the app better than the web version of opening
- pdf's
- Free is always good
- This is a good tool to have in your arsenal
- The Look and feel just seem right
- This app has been the universal go to App for PDF documents since I can remember
I don't like the fact that if I have a Acrobat Pro version installed I am required to sign in to Acrobat Pro instead of just opening the Reader version
Why they chose it
"Ease of signing contracts from an iPad is slightly better I feel."

Greedy for your money and stripped out simple tools from Free Reader!
Garbage, they are about one of the greediest software companies out there. They have so many other products to make money from and they chose to scale-down the free Reader, which forces you to buy or, like me, went elsewhere.
- It works with most all pdf files and is free to download
- Adobe removed the majority of the simple tools that used to be in the free version
- For example, I can no longer rotate a pdf, you need the pay version for that
- And forget about annotation, nope, gotta pay for that too
- Way too greedy for us to recommend to our customers
- We send them elsewhere
Why they chose it
"Because it was free but so are better competitors out there."

Adobe Acrobat Reader - document powerhouse
Acrobat Reader is the app to have when working with PDF files. It has all the tools from creating to edit these, collaboration and sharing. The app is easy to use and is available on all platforms, PC or smartphone. It has an intuitive UI that makes it easy to use.
- The most important feature for me is the online signing, this really saves the whole office a lot of time
- The signed documents are easily stored in their cloud and easy to access from any device
- I can't say there is something I can say I don't like at Adobe Reader
