Arlo Review from a Training Center
We've been using Arlo LMS for some time now and overall, it's been a very positive experience. The platform makes class creation straightforward, and the built-in support features have been reliable and responsive. One of the standout aspects for us has been the email notifications — they're customizable, timely, and help ensure both learners and instructors stay well-informed. That said, we do wish the website functionality was stronger. While Arlo covers the LMS side quite well, the website builder tools feel limited compared to other platforms. A more modern, flexible, and user-friendly web interface would really round out the product. In summary, Arlo delivers where it matters most for learning management and administrative ease. If the website features were enhanced, it would be even closer to a perfect fit for our needs.
- Class management and student management are good and covers everything you need
- The costing is decent as it allows you the chance to pre purchase licenses in advance to help save some money
Website ability to be able to customize, adjust and add things like video and interface changes is very limited

Intuitive and simple to use
Arlo works well for our organisation in managing our provision of training. It is simple to use and does the basics well. It has been positive to see that Arlo are always looking to introduce new features and functionality to improve the product further!
- Arlo is intuitive to use
- It also provides a helpful home dashboard to allow you to take a quick pulse check of trends
- I like the enhanced report functionality that has been introduced lately too
- Arlo suits our needs, however it would be helpful to have additional functionality such as formula fields on the contact
- Additionally we utilise the Arlo-Salesforce connector and find that duplicate management is quite a manual process currently that requires admin work to maintain

The above form forced me to pick a value. We did not use EventSprout we used something called EventsPro It was not meeting our needs anymore. It was a product not built to scale well and there was not enough being done in terms of ensuring the product remained up to date and using new functionality.

So much better than our old system!
Overall pretty good. A bit clunky in parts, but I have developed workarounds. Very helpful support staff!
- Love that everything is all in one place and that Arlo handles multiple time zones
- also that our website is always up to date with what courses are available for registrations
- Would appreciate a few more options to tailor summary views of each course (being able to see which trainer is down to take each session from the course summary page seems like a no-brainer), and options to schedule admin tasks
- Non-admin staff can't really do much

Great trianing management system, even better people!
The major pro Arlo has for it is its people. The support team, development staff and especially our customer success manager have been consistently exceptional. We have needed additional support, we have had meetings to support our growth plan, changes to our offerings and custom web development work done to the checkout to support and our customer success manager consistently hit it out of the park with the support given.
- Arlos system functionality reliably delivers its core promises, our students can go in, check out and receive moodle access seamlessly
- The stripe integration for payment processing works well, scheduling on arlo displays it on our website now without needing manual intervention reducing workload for the scheduling team and managing our teaching staff's schedule and course minimum/maximum student numbers is much easier
- All of this works brilliantly
The API restiction on the backend can cause issues at time, having more reporting/custom reports build being possible in the system would be great and improving the teaching "offering email system" to include more complex courses woudl be brilliant

Software with super support
I built a website for a client who was an existing Arlo customer as they provide training courses for the trades. Usually, I stay away from projects that involve a third party app/software etc. However this was a referral from a friend and someone who I have partnered with a lot so I didn’t want to completely brush off the project. So I actually called Arlo support before accepting the project to discuss the process of getting it working on a website and from the moment I spoke to them I was very confident that the support was there and that they would guide me through the process. They did just that and after a couple of emails and Zoom calls, the software worked perfectly on the site and looks great!
- From a design point of view I love seeing the different options available to display the courses
- They are very easy to edit with simple code and I most love the feature that show live on a website if the house is full or almost full
As I came at it as a web designer for my client who was using the Arlo software already, I had to get 30 day access twice so I could do what I needed and it didn’t work initially - I did then send an email and I then got access soon after on both occasions

Arlo - the Very Best Training & Event Management Software (long time user)
Superb, seamless, always developing and improving and adding new features. Staff support is also genuine, intelligent and specific.
- Ease of use, response to questions, lots of ability to self-service changes
- It is the best "off the rack" software of any kind i have ever used
- I have used it for around 9 years
- It truly suits our business needs exceptionally well
- There has not been any cons of significance - I literally cannot think of any
