About Auctria

Auctria is a cloud-based fundraising management solution designed for small and midsize nonprofits. It offers website management, payment processing, bid sheets, donor receipts and reporting functionalities within a suite. Auctria's website management feature allows users to create custom websites for every bidding event. The website allows users to sell event tickets and manage online registrations. The product also enables users to track information such as donor contacts, auction items and bid amounts. Auctria features bidder automation, which allows users to manage registration, bid offerings and close-outs. The solution also allows users to manage auction-related documents such as bid sheets, display pages, gift certificates and auction catalogs. Auctria allows users to manage close-out and handle payments, donations, tickets, products and receipts after events. The solution is able to support a variety of currencies.

Best Bang for Your Buck

We used an event manager who charged a fortune and used another program. When Covid cancelled our event, I switched to Auctria. The price difference was amazing and so much easier to use. We had a very successful on-line event and word got out. Had so many calls asking how I did it. Now practically every fundraiser in my area (Portland,OR) is using Auctria. Questions get answered fairly quickly, and all the suggestions for future updates I have suggested have been implemented. Keeps getting easier to use and does more every year.

  • Designing the Website
  • I find it frustrating that there are not explanations of what the different styling options are, for example
  • I have to spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to make it look the way I want
  • I am not a web designer
  • Maybe it is assumed if someone is building the website they know all that already

Cost. When had to switch to all online event during Covid, they charged an additional fee which made it simply too expensive.

  • No more paper printing for checking in guests
  • Just a few clicks and guests are guided to their tables
  • Editing guests and names is so fast to do too

Great event platform and event better customer support!

Auctria is great! We have been with them for years and have always had an easy time using the platform, and also Auctria has served us well through all of the changes our gala has gone through. From COVID days of a hybrid event, to having an online auction, and more, we've always been served very well by the platform. Like I mentioned before, their support team is GREAT too. By far the best support team I've ever encountered for a website, hands down.

  • If ever we have a question, the Auctria support team is fast, accurate, and very friendly
  • Auctria allows us to manage all of our event-related needs for our annual gala - from website to ticketing to auction procurement - in one place, which makes our lives much easier
Room for improvement
  • I wish that Auctria connected to Salesforce NPSP
  • The only downside to Auctria is that we have to do a lot of manual importing into Salesforce to capture donor activities from our event

Excellent Support and Overall Great Software

Really excellent. It’s great value for money. We wouldn’t be able to afford really expensive software, and Auctria does almost everything we want.

What they liked
  • This software is very customizable; with some skill, you can make the website, item cards, and emails all look great
  • In ten auctions, I’ve found it to be quite reliable
  • The best thing though is the chat tech support; they seem to respond even outside their official hours, and I nearly always end up with a solution for my issue
Room for improvement
  • It works out of the box, but it takes some work to make it look really good
  • Knowledge of CSS is a definite asset
  • I like being able to import previous auctions rather than starting from scratch, but if you’ve been customizing emails etc
  • , it can be difficult to find all the places that need updating for the next event

"I did demos of them all, and Auctria had the best balance of features and price. In four years, I haven’t found one as an administrator or a bidder that I like better overall."

BEST AUCTION PLATFORM

EVERY SINGLE PERSON is so patrons and friendly. They will deep dive to fix a problem. They held our hands through the entire process. The pricing is reasonable and we will use Auctria every year!

The only con we have is the lack of ability to customize certain fields on standard forms to fit the needs of our business

Auction software with multiple capabilities

Overall, Auctria helped raise a lot more money for our organization!

  • Auctria has so much functionality for a low price
  • It is an easy-to-understand system with incredible capabilities
  • I also like that they partner with Stripe for credit card processing since this is a known and trusted brand

I did find some aspects difficult to figure out, but after some searching and excellent video tutorials, I figured it out

What they liked
  • We were in a pinch to set up a silent auction platform less than two weeks away from our event, and Auctria ended up being perfect
  • For $378, we got every feature we could possibly think of
  • After looking at a lot of auction/fundraising platforms, I loved that Auctria was focused on auctions, because a lot of other sites have such large offerings that auctions are kind of an afterthought, but Auctria has such a well-developed platform that there wasn't a single thing I thought of that they didn't provide
  • Also, kudos to the customer support team
  • Their webinar was super helpful, and team members responded to emails within minutes (

  • On the day of the event, I had a freak-out because a function wasn't working, and a team member responded to me immediately and solved the issue within five minutes
  • The website worked well and our participants (despite being on the older side), were able to easily register and bid
  • I also liked that I could register participants myself and record bids on the back-end so I was able to register and bid on behalf of participants who particularly struggled with tech
Room for improvement
  • The one thing that wasn't 10/10 was designing the website itself
  • The UI isn't quite as sleek as other parts of the platform, and having to change every individual text box and use the "Advance Styling" for things like font size and italics was time intensive
  • Our website ended up looking great, but I did have to spend time watching tutorials and I wish it was a bit more intuitive
