- Everything so far as it's easy and fast to many critical process

Overall, it's very good and can compete other platforms
- - It's not open source and does not allow any type of changes at admin side
- - Easy to use
- - It is secure
- - The documentation for building an bigcommerce app is not good and does not have clear content

Great starter system for a new business
Good experience, will still compare to shopify as they are so close in products but overall good system, improve the apps and this will be a leader in the market
- the ease of use, from entering all the product data and the website design element was straight forwards and easy to use
- Great customer service and some great templates for building
- the apps could do with a better selection, more like shopify ideally

Misleading Pricing, Deteriorating Customer Service
When I first started using the platform, I found the customer service phenomenal. Lately, the level of service has deteriorated sharply.
I like that I don't have to worry about maintaining my own website servers as I did when I was running my own platform
- Lack of transparency on the pricing
- Recently I was over billed several months in a row
- When I wrote to them to raise the issue, they took three weeks to respond
- Then they told me that their system raises prices when my sales revenue goes up, but will not lower them again when sales revenue falls
- So it's my responsibility to watch my billing like a hawk and inform them when I fall to a lower pricing tier
- Otherwise, they'll continue billing me on a the more expensive tier even though their own billing page indicates I should be paying far less

BigCommerce Meets Your eCommerce Selling Needs
We have been using BigCommerce for nearly 8 years, and I have been pleased with the breadth of options we have to integrate other apps to enhance its use. We use B2B Ninja for our quoting tool, which integrates with BigCommerce (and they recently purchased), saving our staff order entry time.
- I like the ease of product editing, the robust app marketplace, and the customer support
- Thye have made improvements over the years to the UI, making it easier to customize, and you can work with many partners to customize your store
- I like the reporting capabilities and options the least
- They seem limited and challenging to customize
- I wish there were more out-of-the-box reporting options, particularly for products with variants
- I would also like them to improve B2B Ninja, the quoting tool they purchased

Big Commerce User Perspective
Overall, I liked this product and found it accessible after some training tutorials. I felt that I needed training to have a deeper grab on the platform’s functions.
Great integration tool to link our in store and online inventory & create promotional discounts that automatically apply
The platform requires you to have an understanding of “computer language” and necessitates you understand these “rules” to properly set up promotions

Reliable platform that offers a good way to get your online store built.
Very reliable, and offers a simple interface. I like how you can easily track orders and customers, and coupons are easy to set up. Links nicely with third parties (such as delivery partners, payment providers etc).
Easy to get started with - it straightforward to set up the eCommerce platform, and it integrates well with Sage Pay and Google merchant centre
- Pricing - when your sales pass a certain amount, it can become quite expensive
- Also, customising themes can be difficult if you don’t have web design knowledge
