Try It - You Won't Regret It!
Our experience has been great! We truly value our software and will always use it. I don't think we'll switch to anything else!
- It's made communicating with our donors much easier
- We also love how easily it tracks our donor info and sponsorship info,
- The only con is the price
- It can be expensive for a small nonprofit, but it's worth its weight in gold

Great Donor Management System
It has been a great resource. It helps simplify my work and helps me manage donors and receipting. I have utilized the auction platform successfully, too and have been able to raise a record amount of money.
- It is easy to use and helps organize data
- I find that it saves time and money
- I really like the ability to track donor information and handle receipting with a click of a button
- I would like to have volunteer information capabilities, since I oversee the volunteer program
- I would like to have volunteer hour management features
- I also don't like the fact that FACTS is not able to automatically transfer new and updated family information
- It takes time to upload new school family information for each new school year

The cost for Blackbaud was too high. The school then went to FACTS, but there was an antiquated system that did not have the capabilities like NFG.
Why they chose it
"Cost for Blackbaud was too high FACTS could not provide the proper software capabilities like NFG"

Bonterra is the BEST!
I have enjoyed Bonterra software for the past 3 years. It gives me exactly what my organization needs. I feel like I have complete control over our data because of this excellent product.
- The aesthetics of the software
- It is easy to see, easy to read, and very user-friendly
- The price is competitive and this system works perfectly for the small to medium nonprofit organization
- I would like the dashboard to display a current total of of all three donor categories: Retained Donors, New Donors and Reactivated Donors
- I would also like to see the date of a donors first gift displayed at the top of the donor record

The Star was a database from the 1990's. The Star is not in the dropdown menu. It would be great if you had "Other" in the menu.
Why they chose it
"Less expensive. Plus Bloomerang had additional features that we did not need."

Lack of customer support
If you value real customer service, look elsewhere. Since this company’s corporate acquisition, the quality of support has completely deteriorated. What used to be a responsive and helpful service has now turned into an impersonal, automated nightmare. We had an ongoing issue that was never resolved because we could never reach a live person. Every attempt to contact customer service resulted in automated replies, endless ticket numbers, and generic responses—but never an actual human being willing to take ownership of the problem. There was zero accountability and no attempt to genuinely assist us. The final straw? Instead of resolving our issue or offering a real solution, the company canceled our account without our consent. Rather than engaging with their customers, they’re taking the easy way out—silencing complaints instead of fixing their service. This is a perfect example of how a corporate takeover can ruin a once-reliable company. When customer service is replaced by cost-cutting measures and automation, the result is a company that no longer cares about the people who keep them in business. If you want to be treated like a valued customer—not just a support ticket number—choose a company that still offers live, human support. Find a provider that actually listens, addresses concerns, and prioritizes service over profit. This company has proven that customers are no longer a priority, and that’s why we’re taking our business elsewhere.
Was great when it was network for good and could speak to a live dedicated representative
No customer support exists its and when you open an email ticket you get a generic response with no resolution

Network for Good is always my choice!
I've used NFG for over 5 years now and have always rated it highly. Like I said before, I really like how they are constantly upgrading the platform and not all upgrades include extra fees. That is very important.
- I love Network for Good
- I used it at my previous employer and had my current employer change over after showing all that it can do
- I like that they are always improving the platform
- I also like the different avenues of training that they offer
My only issue is that downloading a video can be a little tricky, but I'm hoping to learn ways around that

I had used Network for Good at my previous job and liked it.

We love Network for Good
This software has been great. We've been using Network for Good for many years, and once we purchased the enterprise version, it really streamlined things for us.
- We love the integration of donor management, online donation platform, being able to have many fundraising pages for our many different endowment funds, virtual and live auctions, and events
- It's fantastic
For awhile we had trouble getting answers to our questions through customer service, but that has gotten a lot better

Wanted the online donation integration to donors in our CRM
Why they chose it
"We didn't need the fund accounting side of things."

Such a great tool ...especially for a new non-profit or ministry
As the Founder, Exec. D. I used NFG more often than I do today in the early years - however I do appreciate the way that it has helped guide us with donor development. My most recent Director of Admin was really able to organize our groups, and contacts in a way that was more helpful for us, we are still not super savvy with our Bonterra Guided Fundraising...we seem to be always running at such a fast pace in our ministry that we lack the time to sit through all the webinars and read the very many emails that come through but we do feel it is a great product and look forward to utilizing it a bit more in the future.
- When we began as a new organization - this was a super useful and helpful tool for us
- We have now moved from the infant stage of development to a more mature stage where we have been able to utilize our NFG data to learn more about the trends of our donors
- I appreciate the confidentiality and security of the platform but wish that as an organization we could be trusted to input our donors as they join us into NFG with thier recurring donation commitment and if given to us the credit card information they provide us
- Many donors I feel will give on the spot at an event by writing in the payment information but so many are still intimidated by the QR code, and getting on a device to do it whether there or at home when they may forget
- I also wish the month end ( LDOM) Dashboard would be still be there with all the graphs etc
- maybe saved somewhere so on the 5th as I prepare for board meeting the graphs would be there
Switched From
The functionality of grouping contacts was not as robust and there was not a guided fundraising or event tool.

- All presenters were focused, friendly and effective communicators
- Not a thing
- The information was useful - no straying off topic - and the presenters made their work and mine seem human and accessible

Your Nonprofit Would Be Successful If You.....
My overall experience has been great. I like the fact that the onboarding process was straight forward and easy to understand. Our nonprofit the H-Town Dream Center now has everything it needs in one place. All of our campaigns from donations, email, text, fundraising, events, auctions, and live streams are all under one dashboard which makes tracking everything that much easier! Your nonprofit would be successful if you were to use "Network for Good" now known as "Bonterra"!
- I liked that it was straight forward and easy to understand
I would like to see different layouts available for the events pages and how the buttons look
Why they chose it
"The founder of my organization used NFG in the past and that is what ultimately persuaded us to go with NFG."

Many High Praises for Bonterra Network for Good
Overall, I've had a great experience with Bonterra Network for Good in my role. It has definitely streamlined many of the tasks I perform. It has encouraged me to stretch my creativity, as the software makes it quicker to do the work I have and frees up time for me to think outside of the box.
- I love that Bonterra Network For Good is a one-stop shop for everything I need when it comes to fundraising and communicating with donors
- It is very simple to create segments for emails and texts
- Donors report having an easy time making card payments and the system auto-generates a customizable receipt
- Reports are easy to pull from the software and easy to export
- Data is even more quantitative with the use of Que, their new built-in fundraising coach
- Bonterra Network for Good could be better with automating tasks
- As a small non-profit with a small staff, sometimes it would be beneficial to have mundane tasks set to run on their own
- Our organization has also been interested in creating donor journeys, but the software does not support the automation necessary to make that happen, so we've been having to manually perform all of the tracking and communication
- However, they've been steadily upgrading and expanding what the software can do, and I'm confident that more automation will be introduced in the future
