Fabulous software!
I've been using Buildertrend now for several years and I really like it. I can't imaging going back to the way we used to operate. This software keeps us organized and helps our customers stay in the loop during their project. It's a wonderful software and great support staff. Highly recommend!
- One of the things I like most about Buildertrend is the support they give
- If I ever have a question or are unsure of something, I can easily use the chat feature or call the support line and they help walk me through it and figure out a solution to my problem
- They're fantastic
- One thing I don't like is that once a customer has activated their account, we as the builder can no longer update the customer contact info
- Sometimes we're dealing with older people or ones who aren't super computer literate and it takes me a long time or multiple emails to describe how to add a phone number or email address to their account vs me just being able to go in and adjust in in 10 seconds
- I wish they would change that

Excellent Product
It has made our process more professional, been the deciding factor in closing some of our sales and helped us track jobs more efficienly.

There is so much functionality I don't use it to it's fullest and the "college" only occurs in one place that is far from our location in Florida

- There is a feature in which you can communicate pertaining to a specific aspect of the project with applicable subcontractors, designers, or clients
- It is a great way to track conversations and selections for your project
- The estimating feature could be more robust
- I've had better luck reverting to a spreadsheet for the ability of customization

One of the best construction softwares out there!
Overall I believe Coconstruct is a well rounded software that can be learned easier than many of the other construction software out there. One of my businesses still uses it to date.
- I loved creating and sending estimates with coconstruct
- Once you put in the work to create your templates with your cost items you pretty much have a full system in place where any salesperson can easily use
- For many years the coconstruct team would occasionally update the software and add features
- Until they stopped doing it after they were bought out by Builder Trend
- Not sure if that is still the case today

Working with Buildertrend
Working with it for about 1 1/2 years and very satisfied
- In buildertrend you have the ability to keep all information from your client in one program
- From beginning to end of each project you are able to track process of jobs and payments of jobs
- You cam add change orders and show you payments for product and labor
- No cons
- Easy to navigate
- Cost was a little high in our opinion

Buildertrend seemed more efficient and easier to navigate. Also has more programs that we can use

Good product ruined by bad design
Overall the product sucks but the support is great. Also way too expensive.
- It has a lot of great features, and support is excellent
- The product user experience is absolutely awful
- It's a hard product to learn how to use, and there is like 10x more clicking that there needs to be
- Very frustrating to use on either desktop or mobile

Great customer service, ease of use, work flow, and speed from server.
- Its easy time clock function
- Its take off feature
No taxes on estimates and invoices and lack of flexibility with fixed costs and time and materials or projects with multiple contracts or different structures

Buildertrend Tax issues
The BT people are great. The trainers are great. But the product was lacking for us.
- It may be a good program for a builder in USA
- It does not seem to fit the electrical field very well
- Also, they assured us that their platform could handle Canadian tax
- If you are from Canada, I suggest you ask some hard questions before you onboard
- After training for several months, we finally realized that we were not going to be happy with BT
- The one and biggest complaint was that they had a very clunky way of handling Canadian tax
- They did not seem to be interested in correcting it

Construction Company review
Mediocre experience, the customer service was great however they could be better with pricing and initial trial period.
- I liked the idea of having a client portal that i could setup for clients to use
- The bulky nature of the system, it looks initially very easy to cross contaminate information through to areas you don't want information stored
- They also don't give you any time to learn the system before you have to pay the subscription, i would have been more likely to sign up longer if they gave me time to learn it properly

Co Construct Review
Overall, the experience was good for the first many years. Once they were bought, I did not have the same experience.
- When I started with CoConstruct in 2017, the staff was very helpful and would tailor the various modules to our company
- Once they were purchased the product support was not as robust
- I did not get the same service once they were bought out

"I felt it was tailored to custom builders over some of the other solutioons."
