Feature-rich game changer
It’s transformed the way we manage our documentation and tasks. We’ve integrated it with QuickBooks for a custom invoice approval process that submits receipts and invoices to be paid to the receipts queue. Keeps us organized and on top of everything!
- It’s incredibly feature rich, with a very pleasant and intuitive UI
- It’s inexpensive and covers so many of our needs ranging from process documentation to simple task management to complex project management and automated integrations with other systems
I would love an incoming on the documentation instead of having to go into history and find my previous version and copy/paste it back in
Switched From
Looking for something we could use the system to manage besides process documentation.

Highly Suggested for all Company sizes, even if you are 1 person
I have been loving using ClickUp. It has helped me be more organized and efficient in my work so that I can offer my clients a better service. I love having it and using the automations to keep me working at my best.
- I work independently but like having a project management software that helps me keep all my tasks organized and helps me run everything smoothly
- Most other software's you have to pay for at least 3 seats to start but with Click Up I was able to pay just for 1 seat so I can use it
I found it a bit tricky when 1st starting with it, but once I worked with it more and more I was able to guide myself through it well
Why they chose it
"I can set it up for just myself to use. All the other ones I would be paying for seats I don't use"

We've upgraded and so have they!
Overall, still happy with ClickUP. Impressed with how far the software has come and the direction it seems to be going.
- The new layout of ClickUp is awesome, very user friendly
- They now have an AI integration that allows you to use ChatGPT, Gemini or their own bot
- The AI is not "great" at simplifying some tasks
- The AI bot also gets confused easily
- Some of the prompts it replies with are a little redundant or make the bot confused if you dont answer its specific reply prompts

Trello became confusing as I added more team members

My Most Favorite Tool! Operational Dream
Overall, my experience has been great. The price point is fantastic for all that I get with this tool. My operations are now more organized than ever, and it's easier to collaborate on projects with my team without having to spend an excessively heavy amount of money adding seats to my specialized accounting CRM for team-members collaborating on projects with me. For a growing firm, this is a big deal. I can set permissions in ClickUp appropriate for what I need, communicate seamlessly, and track every little idea that pops into my head and keep those organized rather than in a million different phone or sticky notes. It's a backend of operations dream and now replacing my other lead funnel software now that I'm having it professionally built out for me and I couldn't be more excited to use this software to its fullest potential.
- ClickUp has been a massive game changer for my business
- I love the ability to organize every aspect of my business and keep it in one centralized location
- Having separate workspaces for different departments aka "hats" (even as a solopreneur) is instrumental in keeping things running smoothly- such as an area for Marketing Planning (as well as tracking campaigns and promotions), Operations planning, Networking tracking, Referral partners, memberships, and even a lead tracking pipeline
- The team collaboration aspect is also incredibly helpful and well-built
- It's very neurodivergent friendly and although can be a bit overwhelming to set up by yourself, there are numerous free templates, as well as an array of professionals who have dedicated their businesses to helping get this setup and streamlined
- Automations are also fantastic and the number of integrations available really goes a long ways to truly being one centralized hub of operations
- I also use a different account to help with homeschool planning and it's amazing even on the "home-front"
- I could talk about my favorite features for a long time- to sum it up: automations are fantastic, the layout is as well, variety of views from kanban to list, etc
- It has something for every sort of person
- I also love the meeting recorder ai function so I can streamline my tech stack
- If I had to pick on one thing (ok, maybe two things) I would say that what I like least is the limitations on sub tasks in the lower tiered plans
- Having them be a set amount permanently and not renewable is not ideal, however there are alternatives in setup so it's not too massive
- The only other challenge I have is just how involved setup can be to get it running smoothly- it can be overwhelming if you're not the type of person who has experience for this
- That said, it's still fantastic and better than other similar programs I've tried in the past
- I really love the layout and features so these things can be easily overlooked

I found Trello to be challenging to navigate and overall the layout didn't work well for me. Dubsado had a lot of fantastic features but still didn't have quite what I needed to fully organize the backend of my business- such as Marketing planning and things like these. ClickUp checks off every box that I need it to and has customizable views.
Why they chose it
"I loved the suite of features, layouts, and price point of ClickUp more. I also had many colleagues praise ClickUp for their businesses which helped my decision."

Good way to stay on task
My overall experience was good. It was helpful to keep me on task and time tracking. Working in the accounting field due dates and timelines are very important and this was a great way to keep me on track. Reports on time tracking were easy to use.
- I liked click up because it kept me on task
- It was very easy to add tasks, sub tasks and assign different members of the team on projects
- The ability to see what everyone has completed cut out interruptions which was a huge time saver
- It also worked great for time tracking for billable hours
- I've used the version where you pay and it was a good value to hold shared documents
- The only thing I think that would improve click up would be a reminder
- If you are active, but not clocking any time a little reminder would be helpful
- Or if you are on a project for multiple hours, an are you still there pop up to avoid over charging for time
Why they chose it
"Click up free version was better & I was familiar with it."

Good value for the money
Good value for the money, usefull and easy to get started. Make tasks and content as well as time tracking available for the entire team
Ease of use, simple to get started in, easy to keep of both small and big projects coordinated within the team as well as using it for content scheduling
It can be easy to forget about certain tasks that dont have a date and are low priority and some things are hard to use fully unless you have a dedicated PM
Why they chose it
"Cheaper, easier to use for our usecase and fitted out very "disorganized" and wide marketing/web team better"

ClickUp Is No Slouch!
Overall ClickUp is no slouch. I was 98% sold on the app until I spent a few more hours research Monday. I tested Monday and it worked better for my needs. Please don't base your decision on my preferences. You need to judge for yourself. It's worth testing.
- Brain AI was extremely helpful in setting up what I could figure out in the app
- If I didn't have Brain available I would still be struggling to set it up
- The interface is EXTREMELY customizable
- A little too much in my experience
- I don't prefer too many options to customize because I can waste a lot of time "tweaking" instead of being productive
Why they chose it
"I didn't I chose Monday over ClickUp because Monday was more suited to my needs. This doesn't mean Monday is better. Just a little different."

Good budget option for different industries
Accounting
Multiple ways to collaborate within a firm - highly customizable and works for different visual styles (Gantt, bird's eye, task by task) depending on the user's preference
- Overwhelming number of options and hard to set up to customize for our firm
- More of a general one size fits all kind of app

A Powerful and Flexible Tool for Efficient Project Management
My overall experience with ClickUp has been excellent. It’s a powerful and flexible tool that helps me stay organized, manage tasks efficiently, and collaborate smoothly with my team. It has definitely improved productivity and project visibility.
- What I like most about ClickUp is how flexible and organized it is
- It allows me to manage multiple projects, track progress, and collaborate with my team in one place
- There isn’t much I dislike, but sometimes the number of features can feel a bit overwhelming at first
- However, once you get used to it, the platform becomes very efficient and powerful

2 years later
I've been using it for over 2 years, and I feel like there are still features I could learn about and improve. For example creation of automatizations and the newly introduced AI summary system. In general, ClickUp is, in my opinion, cleaner than similar platforms and more user-friendly.
- I like the ease of use and constant support that the platform is offering
- There are a lot of trainings which you could attend if you want to explore the more elaborate features
- I think it offers good value for money and tracking tasks is intuitive and easy
- The good things are also a variety of automatizations and integrations that it offers
- I don't like that after completing a task, most of the subtasks disappear or are hard to find
- The old projects are also not easily retrieved, and sometimes you can lose tags and notifications in the interface
