Best Salon Booking Site
Daysmart is so far the best booking system we have. Everyone can message clients and it shows who messaged who, we get great reminder appointments etc
We liked how easy it was to see each persons individual reports and see tips/services/commission earned
- We do not like that there is not a mandatory credit card when requesting an appointment online
- This needs to be added

Go with different software!
We loved using daysmart until about a year ago, the software started glitching out on us and changing ticket prices and inventory quantities, so we decided to cancel. After cancelling we didnt get all of our data we needed and the only way to retrieve it was to open the account back up. We were told once the account was reactivated we could pay for the lowest subscription at $60. That was a lie they charged our bank another $300 for the month just so we could get our data.

- We stopped using daysmart because of the customer service
- They also do not have a way to track back bar usage (business use of products) and it would randomly change our inventory and tickets

I have been a customer for both of my business for years I find easy to use and I really hike the conscience of my mobile app
- With anything there are glitches , I have had some issues with my confirming appointments via apt reminders as texts
- My biggest complaint is there is NO way to call and get to a live person
- I constantly experience issues with my cc flex machine not completing the transaction, which in turn for my clients that relay in using credit to pay for their services are not able cause of me to loose revenue for that day because now I have to wait to run the card or they pay in their next visit
- I have multiple tickets open for this reason
- I am considering changing my credit card processing if this can not get resolved because it is not reliable it is has been months this problem persist still

Just Don’t Do It
I used to “tolerate” them because they used to have good support. Now They don’t give a crap. The message on phone says we switched to fast efficient online support because it’s going to be faster and more efficient for you. It’s absurd. I am mad.
- That you used to be able to talk to a human
- Support is horrific - they left me down and stranded for over a week with chat support not having a clue
- Slow
- Doesn’t integrate with accounting software unless you PAY MORE Access to app for employees yup
- PAY MORE For each one
- The cloud version is horrific and doesn’t work at all
- Want to use your lap top at home to do some accounting
- Nope
- You have to buy a second version so PAY MORE Oh and the second license is ALWAYS down and never ever works
- So it’s completely unreliable and a waste of money
- This software has potential
- But your pay a fortune and it doesn’t do anything more then acuity
- In fact Acuity gives you unlimited everything for $17 a month and integrates with everything without having to pay
- I am paying almost $500 Canadian a month
- To date I have not switched because it’s a huge job
- But now that you cannot get support and they have no issue leaving you high and dry
- I am out

Customer service lacks
I used then over ten years. Ignorance is bliss. There’s way better options out there. Wish I would have taken the time to explore along time ago.
- The calendar layout is way to manage
- Reminder text help a lot also
- It’s very hard to receive help when there is a glitch and at that they are not familiar with their software
- No one seems to know anything
- Also the merchant hat they make you use is dated and you have to do a compliance questionnaire often or they will charge you 20
- 00 a month extra
- They wanted to charge me 700
- 00 for a credit card swiper so I switched to another booking site that has more modern digestives and way less hassle

Overall we like DaySmart and it works well for our needs. There are a few glitches where service prices $0 out for certain stylists and we need to manually input the price. Combining tickets also poses and problem for time to time

Enjoyable Experience
Salon Iris just needs a way to transfer and transition companies that want to switch and not just start up, but they have a 5 gold star product on their hands here.
- I loved that this was a totally, completely, 110%, didn't leave anything out, comprehensive plus the kitchen sink software system for running any small business
- It covered emails, advertising, websites, payments, scheduling and booking, literally not a stone unturned
- This made the process of starting a fledgling company absolute as cohesive and efficient as possible in a rather visually capturing way
- We ended up not choosing them to use though because of the comprehensiveness and total coverage because it would have been too difficult to integrate their entire system in with the system/s already being used because some had been purchased already and the clinic was already up some running
- If we could have switched all our existing data and moved it in to their new system during its initiation, it would have been chosen hands down
