Happy Non-Profit
We have been using Donor Perfect for many years and feel it offers lots of ways to customize our experience for donor data. Also offers good integration with other products.
- It is very comprehensive and always updating with improvements and new features
- It offers multiple ways to customize the donor screens to fit your individual needs
- Customer service options
- The only way to get email or phone support is to have a three-month contract for it
- It is not cost-effective and very frustrating as the chat is often not available

Affordable, secure donor management software that helps you grow!
Overall, DonorPerfect is a very powerful database system for donor management. It is still growing a lot in terms of being used as CRM or, at least, as an intuitive CRM.
- We are always sure our data is secure with DonorPerfect
- With affordable options and great customer support, DonorPerfect is hard to beat
- The fact we can have multiple users and assign tasks to them is always great
- Having donors laid out in a way we can see how long have they given and how many gifts is extremely useful
- The Contacts menu could be a bit more intuitive and be linked to iCal or Google Calendar features to make it easier to get notifications
- Forms are a bit outdated and could use refining
- The email builder could also use work, since we don't realize formatting is incorrect until we are sending receipts, for example

DonorPerfect has helped us take our donor interaction to the next level
Our experience with DonorPerfect has been excellent. The chat support has been very helpful when we are trying to run reports to produce the desired reporting results. We are having more connection with our donors after switching to DonorPerfect.
- We like the at-a-glance organization metrics and the Calendar feature for more interaction with donors
- The Smart Action feature has been helpful in connecting with new donors
- When adding a new donor, you add the donor first name but are prompted for the 1st line of address before adding the last name so the flow for data entry isn't easy
- Also, when adding a gift by check, the check date requires going backwards for data entry
- The peer-to-peer fundraising didn't work out for us the way we were expecting

The real value within the intuitive
One of the biggest wins is that it encourages board-level engagement in donor relationships, which is vital for long-term stewardship. Plus, we benefit from customizable dashboards, real-time reporting, integrated communication logs, and a strong security framework. For us, DonorPerfect isn’t just a tool; it’s an ally in mission-driven relationship-building. Also, DP is a tool that considers the value of money in terms of the time and security of our donors. On the other hand, they have a very efficient and attentive real-time support team; each question received a satisfactory and immediate response.
- This past year, it helped us track donations across all stages, including those from our major annual gala and the follow-up checks that came in after
- It’s an intuitive and secure platform that makes it easy for any team member, not just fundraisers, to navigate donor portfolios and preferences
Something I think they can improve as a platform is the download of reports and the actual drafts folder

I made mistakes in the monthly donation report, there was no way to keep track of donors and many times I only read the donor as if they were two people when in reality they were duplicates, something that is immediately recognized on this platform even when we upload new portfolios.

Highly Recommend!
Super happy with our decision to go with DonorPefect. Between their training and support there are no worries of not being able to figure out what I may need to do within the system.
- Customer Support has been my saving grace with DonorPerfect thus far

- Which any type of switch there comes the fear of the unknown
- Now that I have been in DonorPerfect and have gotten to know how helpful their support is there is no fear
- I can reach out and asked any questions
- I never feel there is any judgement if it is a super easy question or a complex question
- I am always met with patience, willing to help, kind support team members
- I also love that I am sent a record of our conversation that I have made a habit to download and keep in a folder for reference later if needed
- So far the only thing that I have found I do not care for is the update of the chat location
- It use to be a separate window so you were able to move it when waiting and working with someone
- This is something just personal and super small

Happy New Customer
The staff has been responsive, professional, knowledgeable and always available by phone. It is the personal touch that makes DP stand out from other CRM's I researched.

- We are in the initial phase of getting our constituents migrated, but in the meantime I am working though the webinars, which I find impressively well done
- I am able to maneuver through DP while I learn and it is very intuitive
- I signed up with DP because I was convinced it would be "easy" and so far it is exceeding my expectations
- I haven't found anything I don't like yet
- I'm looking forward to getting our data uploaded so we can schedule mailings and see results

Customer Service is #1
Overall, my experience is great! I love their customer service and willingness to help. It would use an update on the field thing but compared to other programs I've used, this is a million times better!
- CUSTOMER SUPPORT is AMAZING
- They are always there for you, they try as hard as they can to help you with your problem
- They will go above and beyond, they will even send you a follow up email with instructions or anything else you might need
- That there are some things that can't be changed if it's not a field
- For example, if I misspell or miss labeled a batch name, once committed I can't change it

Large data set, new migration. Went great!
Overall it was a great choice for our organization, has been much easier than our previous system, and has been a great improvement.
- The web interface is user friendly, customizable where it needs to be, and logical to navigate
- The data migration process was well managed and as painless as it could be
- The pricing model which invoices on levels of records in the system was a little difficult to get to a point where we could purge the non-needed records to manage our monthly cost
- It wasn't horrible, but it did cause a little heartburn in the setup process

Supportive and Intutive
They've been super helpful, and I've found that it's easy to get started. Their knowledgebase is wonderful, and their customer support is truly supportive. It doesn't have all the fanciest bells and whistles, but for an organization that never used a CRM platform before (our needs are not extensive), we are great we chose them.
- I love the ease of the system itself
- It is intuitive to complete nearly any task, and I really like the overview on each donor profile
- The support staff is also fantastic, and problems are solved in minutes
- The cost was also perfect for our budget
- I love the ability to customize reports as well; there is a small learning curve, but it's wonderful after that
- I feel the forms could be a bit smoother
- We use one for volunteer tracking, but it's a bit clunky having to transfer data
- The integrations available can help with the issue if needed
- I also wish we could choose what our home screen looked like or just an opportunity for more aesthetic and ease of use choices

Almost Purrfect
Still in the first year, but a reasonable bang for your buck, again I am in Finance/accounting and the customer integration is the only thing that I do not like
It is quite user friendly once you have things setup and integrated, with the exception of having to work around customers who are funders as well
Aspects of the integration with QB are less than perfect, it doesn't carry over into the normal 'transactions' related to the customers in QB
