About Eventsquid

Eventsquid is cloud-based event management solution for small, midsize and large businesses that caters to corporations, sports leagues, educational institutes and other associations. Primary features include event registration, website and mobile-app creation, attendee communication, speaker management, document management, reporting and analytics. Eventsquid allows users to create a personalized event website. Users can include a flexible registration portal on websites. Teams can create different registration forms that include custom prompts, payment methods, payment gateways, messaging and other options. Users can check-in attendees from attendees’ badges, mobile devices, printed vouchers or a self-service kiosk. Other features include sales management, surveys, volunteer sign-up, digital tickets and roster management. It is compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac. Android and iOS mobile applications are also offered. It offers support via a case submission, FAQs and help topics.

Flexible platform for creative managers

The support team and leadership have been great to work with - I feel really supported and am proud to have brought this service and platform to my organization. We have since adopted EventSquid as our enterprise-level event management system. We're excited to continue learning the platform and the many needs it can meet.

What they liked
  • The flexibility within the platform to customize and configure pathways and events just the way you need them is great
  • The user experience is smooth and appears seamless on mobile or desktop - that's a necessary feature for this type of platform
  • The admin side of the platform is fairly straight-forward and simple; you won't need an IT expert to use and deploy this platform
  • The support from the EventSquid team is what puts it over the top
Room for improvement
  • With so much customization, there is a bit to explore and can be overwhelming
  • The VEO seems promising but we haven't been able to quite figure it out with the video-conferencing platform and types of services we offer
  • There are just a few things here and there that the platform does (registration timeouts, inability to automate email/attachments in confirmation emails, not saving submissions, etc) that are a little frustrating, but nothing unexpected from a new platform

EventSquid has thought of it all.

EventSquid developers know what conference and event organizers need and they created a system that just works. From the many layers of registration items and agendas to contact information collection to vendors, teachers, tours, time slots, name badges, venues, maps, food, really robust reporting capabilities and the list goes on. EventSquid has thought of it all.

What they liked
  • It's hard to choose
  • The EventSquid team is very responsive on the sales end, patient and understanding on the training end, and always fast and helpful on the tech support end
  • But I think my favorite thing is that EventSquid is pretty intuitive for non-tech people
  • I find it hard to keep up with technology so was worried it might take me hours and hours to learn to build my conference registration website
  • But after only a couple hours training with [sensitive content hidden] and then a couple hours on my own, I was able to build my whole registration page and website
  • I didn't track how long it took me from start to finish, but it was manageable on a 40-hour schedule where I'm juggling lots of other tasks at the same time
  • Also, it looked and worked great

I thought it was a little confusing setting up additional registrants, but that's probably because it was my first time and there was a learning curve

Great features and functionality, issues with user-compatibility

It helped with several essential event functions, like registration and payment processing, and helped make things easier. However, non-user-friendly functions made things more difficult for us, as we had to help guests register and make payments over the phone. All in all, it's affordable and worth the money, but improvements are needed.

What they liked

It performs a lot of functions, from registering guests to processing payments to sending out event surveys

Room for improvement
  • It's not very user-friendly, especially for people who are not internet savvy
  • I had to help most of our guests register for the event because the registration process was too complicated (having to make a profile for every attendee, even guests of our main attendees, made things difficult
  • People simply wanted to register guests without providing their names, addresses, etc

LOVE EVENTSQUID!!!

I LOVE EVENTSQUID! I have been in dental education for over 20 years and this is HANDS-DOWN the BEST event management software I have EVER used!! Once my courses are set-up, registration is a breeze! My participants can register online, they can pay online, I can send e-mail communications to the group, I can manage my course attendees, upload documents to their profile, etc. This software makes everything so easy and save me so much time!!! It is a coordinators DREAM COME TRUE!!! By having this interface that is so "user-friendly" and "end-user-friendly," I don't have to waste time on helping people register or sending them individual e-mails - everything I need to do is one click away! I love everything about this software and I would HIGHLY recommend Eventsquid to ANYONE in event management!

Eventsquid Review

I've had a steep learning curve, but overall I appreciate all of the features of the Eventsquid platform.

What they liked

I appreciate the automated functions, the ability to integrate our brand design, and the design of the event web pages

Room for improvement
  • Unfortunately, some of the functions are not intuitive, and it can be difficult to figure out how to set up an event just right
  • Fortunately, the customer support team is excellent

Eventsquid is a great partner and vendor for all of our major event needs

My experience with Eventsquid is that they are a first class service company and they always ready to help with anything we need.

What they liked
  • They are a customer service based company that meets our registration and website creation needs to market our annual major conference
  • This event is 3 days filled with 25 panels, 5 keynote meals, and attended by over 1,200 people annually
  • We have used them for over 5 years and have been happy year after year

  • I don't have any cons with using Eventsquid
  • They are always responsive and take great care of our team's needs

  • It is very easy to use as Admin
  • Correcting reservations is easy
  • And we seem to be learning more as the years go on

  • I seem to be blocked from receiving emails on my end when a member emails me
  • I've updated our email server to accept all emails
  • I received the contract but any emails from our members contacting me with questions I'm blocked

Excellent, All-In-One Event Management Software!

This is our second year using Eventsquid. Their customer service is wonderful and very responsive. The feedback from our attendees regarding the registration process was very positive, and we appreciate that they don't take a percentage of each registration fee, like most others do. There was a bit of a learning curve when setting our event the first time, but our registration options are a bit complex.
