Everstage has it's positives and negatives
I like it, but I wish the calculation function worked and that I didn't have to fix it every month. It supposed to save time, not put more work.
- It's easy to pull information when needed
- I am able to go back in the records and get any information needed
- It has a lot of calculation malfunctions
- Every month I have to manually fix my TSA's bonus because it was not calculated correctly

Great partnership with Everstage
Implementation felt genuinely white-glove. The Everstage team anticipated needs we didn’t even know we had and kept the entire rollout clean and fast. And unlike many vendors where CSM calls are just calendar fillers, Everstage’s CSM conversations consistently add value—whether it’s optimizing workflows, tightening comp logic, or sharing best practices from other RevOps teams.
- We absolutely love Everstage
- The investment was a no-brainer
- Before Everstage, we were calculating commissions manually in spreadsheets, and giving our teams real-time visibility was nearly impossible
- Now, everyone has instant access to their earnings and full transparency into how payouts are calculated
- It’s been a game changer for our RevOps & Finance teams, instead of fielding endless data requests, people can self-serve everything directly in Everstage
- It’s the perfect mix of the right partnership, the right tool, and the ability to scale with our growth
- I only wish we had implemented it a year earlier - this is truly the only “con” I can think of
- Everstage is a great tool and partner to us
Why they chose it
"We chose Everstage because they offered a free proof of concept, built out two full plans as a preview of what our setup would look like, and were far more detail-oriented and attentive to our needs than Spiff or QuotaPath."

Room for Improvement
Fiddly, difficult and confusing. Much worse than 'Spiff..' Haven't really had much onboarding from it. Is a low priority.
- Not much
- When I really sit down and try to figure out it can tell me my monthly comms which is motivational for sales person but not much
Really hard to understand my commission, not clear on the interface and have the constantly fiddle with filters to understand how much I am getting paid
Switched From
I didnt choose to, was made centrally by my company

Everstage -Sales management feedback
Great - team supportive, roll out strong and does exactly what we need to do. Simple powerful tool and something every sales team should have.
- It's very Intuitive, informative and provides full transparency for my team
- Enables me to build 1-2-1's with team around financial goals and what they need to do very easily
As with all tools requires rev ops/sales ops to set up successfully and does require consistent tweaking based on commission plans/changes
Switched From
Spiff was not customisable to our needs and was ended up being updated on spreadsheets.

Grow forever with Everstage
My overall experience with Everstage has been positive. Easy to use, great interface, and no errors at all.
- Everstage has been a great platform for me to keep track of how my commission is progressing through out the quarter
- I used to use manual spreadsheets and it was extremely time consuming and tedious
There isn't many cons to Everstage, I'd say the only potential hurdle would be from an admin standpoint not as a traditional user
Switched From
Too many issues with Spiff such as not reporting accurate data.

A friend to Sales!
It's been great - I'm a big user of the platform amongst my team. Having a commission tool is a huge motivator overall and it's easy to see breakdown of winnings on month and quarter.
- I like how it breaks down my commission by the different variables my company weighs against
- It adds a helpful layer of transparency
- I also like the straightforward UI showing me how I'm pacing to the quarter/year
- This is less on Everstage - but my company doesn't have the option to weigh outcomes based on closed won new deals in pipeline
- That's a helpful tool for motivation
- I'm unsure how Everstage approaches that but it's not live in our instance
- I also wished it synced up to closed won faster (Salesforce) - it's about a 24 hour window today
Switched From
I believe there was low adoption. Our finance team made the switch, but I do prefer the Everstage UI better so far.

Great for Tracking YTD Progress and Earnings
Calculating payouts can be complex, especially when you're selling multiple products across a net-new and expansion account book. I know have full visibility into my past earnings, and where I'm pacing each month, quarter an year. It's made the compensation process extremely easy and the UX is very user friendly.
- As a sales rep that's constantly tracking my YTD progress, Everstage allows for total transparency around attainment and payout structure
- It's incredibly easy to use, syncs seamlessly with our CRM and helps me gauge my earnings on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- I haven't found anything I dislike about Everstage
- It would be nice to see comp on the opportunity level, but I'm not sure if that's a capability, or something my organization hasn't leveraged
Switched From
This was a leadership decision, so I don't have full visibility into why the switch was made.

Spiff Review / Nov 5th, 2025
Very solid and does exactly what I would expect the tool to do. It is a solid adjustment away from Spiff that I've used previously.
- It helps me track commissions, platform is very easy to use and navigate
- Only concern is around how the information is displayed, but I imagine this might be related to my team's specific setup
- This could be related to my own company's setup, but I can't see an exact breakdown of what deals are contributing to my commission for the month
- This creates a problem where while I know the final sum of what I'm owed, I can't see the math that determined that figure and it forces me to manually work backward anyways
Switched From
We got a cheaper contract and the utility is the same.

So far so good
Only used it for 3 quarters of this year so its ok so far, break down of commissions would then take this to 5 stars for me. Easy to access because of the intergration.
The ability to link with SFDC and seamlessly provide you with sales commissions through the integration
- Not the easiest to understand the numbers and breakdown
- If there was a way where you can click the bar chart for that month/quarter and it break down exactly how the commission is made up from your accounts - would be SO much better

n/a im an IC - so i dont have any say on this.
