Arreva's Exceed Beyond is evolving with the fast paced changing needs of our modern not-for-profit

It will change the way we work as we roll this out to other sites and see the benefits of integrations and new functionality that we have not had access to previously.

What they liked
  • Exceed Beyond's modern web based interface and easy to navigate functionality makes the user experience fast, efficient and enjoyable
  • In addition out of the box you can leverage interfaces with payment systems
  • The system comes with a solid set of built-in reports and with the addition of a custom report writer and integrated export functionality reporting and analysis is a straight forward process
  • Communications capabilities allow single and smaller qty emails and letters to be quickly sent from the system with a template builder and comms process, in addition we leverage our email application for larger runs which is integrated with the CRM
  • User defined data, flags and lists are easy to create and leverage in the management of contacts
  • We leverage multiple modules which include core CRM, fundraising, campaigns and guest management to name a few
  • In addition the setup and migration process to the new system was well structured with an excellent online help function at your fingertips for those small questions to augment the fast email support
  • The system has existing links to some accounting systems to transfer transactions and reduce data entry duplication
  • In the back end the user role and security model is very flexible and granular

5 years with ExceedFurther and counting!

I am very happy with ExceedFurther and plan to use the software for many years. The support team has always been extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. Shout out to [sensitive content hidden]

What they liked

I like the customization of user defined fields and the very thorough data collection for things like biographical data, gift data, tribute information, etc

Room for improvement
  • I feel that the volunteer management module is difficult to use, so we ended up going with a different software to manage our volunteer program
  • I also wish the recurring gifts worked differently
  • I don't like how it's not included in the same reports as one time gifts, and having it in a different tab make it easy to forget about

Major Problems with Conversion - disappointing customer service

  • We were so disappointed with the conversion process and lack of responsiveness of the conversion team and those in charge of "Client Success
  • " On multiple occasions, we waited days to get answers to questions, and that was after our repeated emails/phone calls
  • The customer service we received was poor

ExceedFurther- Arreva for Guest Management

  • The software is highly user-friendly, making it easy to train staff and customize as needed by adding or removing fields

Room for improvement

The Reports feature has some limitations that prevent us from retrieving all the desired information in a single report, requiring us to pull data from multiple reports instead

Exceed is very robust and worth the time to learn it.

Onboarding and Training take a long time. I am 8 months in and we are still doing training on certain modules as they become relevant. Setting up a training session takes two weeks!! However, support is quick, and most of the time, answers all of my questions

  • It has all of the tools we need
  • We were looking for a platform that would help us with membership, donor management, and ticketing
  • This has all of that and more

  • It has so many tools
  • This system is extremely robust, which means there are a lot of features that take time and training to learn
  • Once you learn them, it is easy, but it will take time
  • I do wish there was an easy reference guide that offered step by step tutorials

Everything We Need In One Place

The customer service with ExceedFurther is incredible! The customer success team and training team are friendly and responsive to our inquiries and our business needs. They are committed to our success and continually ask for feedback to improve their platform to meet our needs, both now and in the future. I love having all of our fundraising tools in one platform, eliminating the need for multiple systems.

  • ExceedFurther gives our Fundraising Team a comprhensive picture of the entire donor relationship and pipeline
  • The built in features and tools align with industry best practices for fund development and keep the donor at the center of the work and our mission
  • ExceedFurther's campaign tools allow us to more easily track relationships with donors and our team, including our board members, with solicitors and assignments, and easy to read tasks
  • We have streamlined our gift processing systems to eliminate redundancy of time and effort for our team, making us more efficient and responsive to donors
Room for improvement
  • As with any CRM, the system requires intentional setup, training, and consistency with data integration to ensure accuracy in reporting
  • The various models are flexible and adaptable to our work but requires appropriate training and continued dillegence by our team to ensure we are making the most of the tools and features available to us

ExceedFurther Customer Support

We're a very basic user...capture donor information and enter donations. While that seems simple to someone who is familiar with donor software, this is very new technology for our non-profit. We've mastered the data entry and now are progressing to the correspondence and reporting phase. Each stumbling block has been a learning opportunity for us, and a building block for the next feature of ExceedFurther.

  • The support offered for the product, and the person providing the support is knowledgeable, a good communicator, responsive to my problems/questions

Room for improvement
  • We have no prior experience with a donor system
  • Because of covid, so much learning has gone to online platforms like Zoom
  • Somethings are not as easily learned in that environment - there's limited opportunity to do question-answer to further the education

ExceedFurther - Best Donor Software

I'm just beginning on this version of the product, but I used a legacy version for several years. My overall experience has been pleased and satisfied.

  • There is an interface or module for every need -- without additional cost
  • Customer service and support is excellent
  • They treat you right and don't nickel and dime you
  • Give it a try, you'll be glad you did

  • Due to the robust nature of the software, there is an initial learning curve
  • On the outset, it's intimidating
  • But once you learn how to use and navigate the software, you'll never go back

I have used Arreva software for the past 22 years and would not switch to another company. They set themselves apart from other companies by offering excellent customer service.

What they liked
  • ExceedFurther allows us to house our data on one platform
  • The staff at Arreva listens to their customers and they make changes to the software to meet the needs of our organization
  • The staff is responsive to requests for assistance, they provide great training on the modules and they reach out on a regular basis to get to know their customers
Room for improvement

Would love for them to include a ticketing solution for events and an online calendar for volunteer scheduling
