About EyeOnTask

EyeOnTask is a web-based field service management solution that enables all the service industries such as HVAC, plumbing, cleaning, pest control, CCTV, construction and more to organize and manage their clients, jobs, invoices, inventory, equipment and contracts. Users can create quotations, convert quotations into jobs, create multiple services under a single job and assign jobs to multiple field workers. Key features of EyeOnTask includes job scheduling, location tracking, custom forms, customer portal, billing and invoicing, inventory management, equipment and audit management, expense management, multi-language support, reporting, contract management and more. The tool creates a roadmap for users to get an idea of each step and helps teams to create an action plan and successfully execute it. The widget enabled dashboard allows the back-office manager to view important key performance indicators such as active jobs, active clients, active fieldworkers, active jobs per fieldworker, jobs per month, clients per month, completed jobs upcoming jobs and the details of the contracts. Flexible solution, Best value for money

EyeOnTask replaces several self developed tools and many Excel sheets. It makes the different processes easy and prevents mistakes. Especially the integration of the app for the fieldworkers with the back office improved efficiency.

What they liked
  • EyeOnTask comes with an enormous amount of standard features which can be configured to the requirements
  • All features are integrated within the software but also over the different user interfaces like the web-interface, the apps and the plugins
  • Several financial features for the European market where missing, but added on my request within six weeks
  • The price model is very acceptable
  • For the company I advised the cost was even less than the "free" open source solutions when support was taken into consideration
  • There is good support although it is only in English
Room for improvement
  • The integration with other software is limited
  • A direct connection with the accounting software my client uses is not available ( currently solved with an export/import)
  • I however had a good discussions with the people behind EyeOnTask and they are now working on adding a mapping tool
  • With this tool it would be possible for consultants like me to configure the connections with third party software

The efficiency in the method of working could be enormous improved and mistakes prevented. An estimated 1,5 FTE is saved with the use of EyeOnTask.

Best value for money

The onboarding and support have been excellent. We use the platform to track service calls and contracts for our electrical company.

It has been a positive experience and we would recommend this product to anyone needing a simple quick solution.

It's a great value for the price we pay and whenever there is an issue with the system, our contact at EyeOnTask is quick to respond and either try to fix the issue or fix it

Room for improvement

There are times when the system is being updated and it goes down but we are not notified beforehand to be prepared for it

EFFICIENCY at it's FINEST

Overall experience was good. Was able to get the job done efficiently with the tools provided. The convenience of the app was a strong point.

  • As well as being able to share them with the client or just have thwm on record

  • Some of the frustration dealing with third parties
  • Somw of the process when integrating certain companies such as steipe or zapier, it could get annoying at times

Software with great value for money!

EyeOnTask has allowed us to keep good records of all our contract and services to clients. The subscription price is definitely returned with great value! However, speed of site has been rather slow lately, and the failure of old functions with every update is frustrating. Hope to see improvements in that moving forward.

  • Responsiveness of the software team that listens to our suggestions and requests
  • Love the constant development of new functions to enhance our productivity

  • Updates without notification, changing functions without notice
  • Whenever there's an update, some old functions will fail to work
  • Developers should be more thorough in their testing before going live
  • Inability to attach videos to jobs has been a hassle

Efficient, Modern, Crisp, Economic

During the set up phase, the support team were always on hand. I've had the odd "how to" interactions with support and they have responded promptly with definitive answers or come back quickly when they have had to check with develops.

The most complete and affordable option for FSM.

After some time my team is getting use to the software, now we are getting positive feedback from my engineer

What they liked

His value - quality relationship is one of the best, I check almost all on capterra and some software has an astronomical price, probably was better but don’t have the budget and not match the investment to a department that only generates expenses on some companies (field service support if very difficult to monetise)

Room for improvement

Difficult to configure and understand some modules, like customer portal, or contracts, or actives and personal equipment because customer equipment and personal equipment is configured on the same place

"Because is the most affordable and complete option, Zoho doesn’t has pictures of the equipment or actives, servicenow is very complicated to install, some doesn’t fit on our budget"

Great Software

Great system, we have been using it for a year now and we could easily adjust and integrate with our system, customer service is fast and very helpful!
