- I like to be able to add different Excel files, admitting the load of these quickly, has different tools for its usefulness

Has great potential if transparent from the start on all aspects of the system and user expecations.
Support was consistent, however communication of promises made by the main contact and the software engineers was not clearly set and confusion caused some problems.

Doc it. Lock it. - FileHold
My overall experience with FileHold has been very positive—it’s a reliable, easy-to-use solution that met our needs and delivered great value with strong support throughout.
What I liked most about FileHold was its excellent support, affordable cost, user-friendly interface, and the ease with which our team was able to learn and adopt it
Setup and configuration is a little more involved than some applications and almost always requires a support staff to assists in install and configuration

FileHold is an excellent electronic filing system
FileHold has been a wonderful software to find whatever you need without going through boxes and boxes. The features for searches and organizing your information is endless. It's been amazing to look up old time cards and invoices when needed. Our Accountant loves it, as they use it when they need to audit our books, as they are looking for specific documents.
- How customizable everything is, it's a blank slate for setting up your company and your needs
- They listen to their customers, I submitted a suggestion and they updated the software to incorporate my suggestion
- They even reached out to let me know they were going to add the suggestion which was great customer service
- How small the font is on library
- When you decide to remove a metadata field from a schema it retains the information so you can't actually completely remove so it can make things a little tricky when searching or reusing the field
- The watch folder list cant be sorted, it's in the order they were entered and if you have a lot of watched folders trying to find one to edit the information can be frustrating
- Really all my cons on this software are just minor personal preferences
- The only frustrating part was trying to figure out what metadata fields you should create need and how you should structure your library
- Because you don't know what how the system functions so down the road you realize how things work and different ways you should have set things up
- For example with Vendor Bills we a field called account number then for our insurance policies we have a field called policy number
- When I could have used the same field for those two fields

- The cabinet and folder configurations are set up easily by the admin and very configurable
When a folder contains multiple pages, it would be helpful to have navigation arrows that allow you to jump directly to the beginning or end, rather than clicking through each individual page number

FileHold supports my business functions.
I am very pleased with my FileHold use and experience. As the coordinator for my business location the support from FileHold has been exceptional. My IT group supports this view. I have easily learned the FileHold software and passed that knowledge to others in my group. Our success with it has led to other locations in my company to purchase FileHold.

- All steps to accomplish tasks and develop workflows are very direct and logical
- The Help function is incredibly thorough and easy to search
- I wish I would have purchased more of the entire product initially

Outstanding FileHold
I have been IT Manager for over 7 years. I have never had a bad experience with FileHold. The product is excellent. Latest assisted upgrade was flawless. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional and efficient.

- We have upgraded it many times
- FileHold is a very stable product, well built, does what it is supposed to, very few errors
- We don't use all of the features, but it is easy to deploy and manage
- We were hoping to have some sort of Dynamics NAV invoice approval process, but as we have a very small IT department, we never get around to it
- Maybe there is an API we could use to integrate with our Dynamics NAV environment

Definitely Recommend Using FileHold
The best part of using FileHold has been the amazing customer support—they’re always quick to respond and super helpful. Whenever I’ve had an issue, their team has guided me through it with clear instructions (or often just fixed the problem for me). Even though the system has a learning curve, the support and reliability make it a great tool for managing documents efficiently.
- FileHold makes organizing and finding documents super easy, which has saved me a ton of time
- The search function is really powerful—I can locate files quickly, even in a huge system
- I also love how well it integrates with Microsoft Office, making it easy to edit and save documents without extra steps
- The interface feels a little outdated and not as intuitive as I’d like, which took some getting used to
- Setting everything up was a bit of a challenge at first, especially figuring out all the features
